The best restaurants serving Default food in Sitwell Rotherham Yorkshire and The Humber

Just wanted a quiet drink. Staff extremely lovely, helpful and smiley but customers use the f word continually. Really needs a separate room for people to let off steam and enjoy football/racing/sports and the many TV screens

Gorgeous little place that me and my partner went to on a whim and were pleasantly surprised with how good it was. The staff were lovely and welcoming and the food was brilliant. Our waitress informed us about certain cocktails that weren't on the 2 for 1 menu so that we weren't caught by surprise when the bill came, when it did come a soft drink was missing but once we told her, she said it was on the house. The food came out at a good pace and was stunning.

First time visiting, booking easy via Facebook, only confirmed once £10 pp deposit paid. Arrived on a Saturday evening, not sure what to expect. Welcomed straight away, our server was lovely. Gave us time to look at the menu without being rushed. Garlic bread with cheese to start which was swimming in garlic just how we like it. Lasagne for me and a fish pasta for hubby. Portion sizes good. Food was the best we had eaten in a long time and we eat out a lot. We are so glad we gave this restaurant a try over other local restaurants. Already been telling friends to try it. Will 100% be back.

This is our second visit - originally found it when we were sent to the doctors practice next door and today had a Birthday breakfast. Great soft poached eggs on toast. Creamy coffee latte too. Friendly team. Will definitely call again. Appears to be a busy cafe.

My first visit. Very nice food, very good value for money and excellent service! What more can you ask for.

This was a awesome shop been to it for 13 years now since it opened it has always been the very very best and the lady’s are always polite and talk to you while you wait for your things they even said hi to you when you walk past each day with my dog I will miss them so much and they always made great sandwiches and pies and there cakes was the best each and every time I was very sad to see that they was taken over and someone else has the shop now it’s just normal takeaway crap not home made meals will miss them so much thankyou for years of great food wherever you are take care of your self thankyou very much for years of great service thanks John

As a registered disabled person who often needs access to a toilet quickly, I found myself in need of such facilities. I entered the pleasant pub and spoke with the bartender. She kindly showed me to the disabled toilet which was much appreciated. I did not have time to stay for food or a drink, so thanked her before leaving. Such a kind welcoming person is lovely to find these days especially and for this I would highly recommend The Stag Inn, Rotherham.

Went for lunch for the first time this week .Staff were really friendly and attentive .. Great choice of food.It was very tasty and well cooked

5 ⭐️ family lunch out. Friendly and professional service. The empty plates from all 8 of us spoke for it self. Every dish was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Thank you Bev and Helena as always. We'll see you both very soon. X

One of best kebabs I’ve had hot chilli sauce is class,staff friendly and quick service loads of meat and side order of chips were good

We went for Sunday lunch there were five of us we had booked. On arrival we were greeted by a young friendly lady who showed us to our roomy table .The staff were all very helpful and friendly , four of us had the carvery it was fantastic really nice cooked meat with a very good choice of veg. Everything was hot and of good quality . Even the desserts were great

Used Punjab for years ,easily the best Indian takeaway, the curries are fantastic, personal favourites are chicken madras and lamb rogan josh, would also recommend the kebabs .

the food is always nice from here and very tasty, the only let down is the organisation, we’ve had a couple times where the food has turned up just about warm (had to warm up in the microwave) and most recently i ordered food and asked for delivery and an hour later they called me up asking if i wanted it delivered… our food wasn’t hot so i gather it’s just been sat there waiting for us to collect it, forgetting we asked for it delivering (she even checked my address on the phone first time) all in all good food, poor service
