Used Punjab for years ,easily the best Indian takeaway, the curries are fantastic, personal favourites are chicken madras and lamb rogan josh, would also recommend the kebabs .

Had a takeaway chicken jalfrezi with egg rice onion bhaji and garlic bread It was very very nice Better than the local sit down restaurants local to me by far Fantastic

Never again mouldy food says it’s garlic and it’s not it’s deffo mould disappointed as I always use this food chain never again

We were told that the chicken and chips were better than KFC and really good value, so we decided to give them a go and ordered chicken, chips, garlic bread, onion bahjis and some other things. First of all, £3 delivery wasn't too bad considering how far away they were but the cost of the food was a bit on the high side, but we thought if the food was nice, it would be worth it. Okay, so the chips were quite nice tasting and cripy, but not very warm. The chicken was hot and tasty but quite a bit of juices came out of it. The bahjis were nice tasting but cold and very disappointing. The garlic bread was nice tasting but was only 10 inch and cost more than the 12 inch that we get from our local takeaway for free as we order over £25. One of the other meals wasn't eaten by me, but when I asked how it was, I was told it had a lot of sauce on but didn't have a lot of taste to it. The pizza was £7 and I thought was a bit too expensive for what it was. Also, the website said it would be 45 minutes and it took quite a bit longer than that, so that was also disappointing. So overall, we paid nearly £50 for food that was on average of all the food nearly okay. Will we order again? Maybe for the chicken and chips and garlic bread, but we won't be ordering anything else. Quite disappointed overall.

I have been really impressed recently. I ordered from Punjabs for the first time in years this year, I’ve now ordered twice in a month. The curry is soooo good, the variety is amazing and every curry is so individual. I will continue ordering from here to try many types as I haven’t had a bad one yet and this food is my favourite. Well impressed!

Ordered a take away was told 45 minutes. Called after 1 hour to be told will be sent out in 5 minutes. Called after 1.5 hours to be told it hasn't left yet. Over 2 hours then cancelled. First time we have used them and definitely the last

Always fantastic food here. The only decent curry in the surrounding area. All curries are cooked properly and taste fantastic. We usually get chicken tikka massala, pasanda, pilau rice and naan. The pilau rice is the only weakness as it's not particularly sweet but it does the job. Everything else is spot on.

Horrendous- vindaloo chop some chillies into a another curry? Just say - I can’t make a vinders Rather than this

I have used this place for years and always pick up myself. Usually, the curries are fantastic and on this occasion it was once again. The Punjab went through a phase (in my opinion) where too much salt was used in the "rubies". Thankfully, this is now a thing of the past and I will certainly return.

Ordered food at 20:31 to be advised that it would be here in approx 1 hour. Rang back at 20:45 to be advised that it was on the way and would be 5 minutes. Still no delivery 15 minutes later. Rang back to be told they are "Really Busy" Person on end of phone was rude and extremely unprofessional. If You are going to run a business then treat your paying customers with respect and don't lie. Terrible service!!! Arrogant and disgusted at the fact that they can tell lies.

asked for a tikka kebab got a tandoori one also asked for no chili but my mouth is on fire they must have used chili when the wife asked for none pizza ok

My last review for punjab was excellent. However ordered tonight and was dissatisfied. Don't get me wrong food was good as always but when I order lamb karai and ask for it mild to medium I don't expect it to be red hot with lots of chilli peppers in it. Luckily I have a very nice husband who swapped me for his lamb bhuna special which was delicious. However he struggled with my dish which was a shame cos I felt a bit crap. So please can you listen when I asked for mild. 🤔

I've been going here for a few years now, and the foods not too bad. Not the best but not the worst. The problem is on my last five or so visits. I started to notice that there was much too much, of the dish's sauce in the carrier bag, and all over the other items. The first few times I put it down to over exuberence of the chefs in filling the dishes too much. But it got worse, much worse. I examined the dish and noticed that a small hole had been pierced in the base of the main dish. In fact the last one was so bad, everything in the carrier bag was swimming in sauce. And the dish of food itself was dry, very dry. I again examined the metal dish and again noticed that en even larger hole had been pierced in the centre base. There is nothing that the chefs do inthe preparation of the dish to cause this, no sharp implements are used, or anything of the sorts. I can only assume that for some reason this has been done deliberatly. I will not be using this Indian restaurant again ever.

But omg 2 curries 2 rice 2 chapaties 18 quid x ordered 22.20 it was ready in 10 mins x absolutely vile x korma insipid no taste at all x lamb Rogan josh raw onions no peppers x haven't ordered for a while x wont ever be ordering again x

Having been local to the Village for 8years it was our first order from Punjab. The telephone ordering service was simple and straight forward. We ordered the following food: 1. Pickle Tray & Poppadoms 2. Chicken Jalfrezi 3. Chicken Passanda 4. Pilau Rice 5. Chapatis 6. Chips The food arrived within 15 minutes of ordering. The food was well packaged and piping hot. The pickle tray was lovely, we had 4 Poppadoms and there was plenty of pickle to service all 4. The Jalfrezi was lovely and Spicey, its described as Hot on the menu but if you are a seasoned curry eater you may beg to differ. The Chicken pieces were large and tender with a generous helping of delicious flavours. The Passanda was lovely, again with generous portions of Chicken Tika and a flavoursome sauce. The Menu at Punjab is huge not only does it offer Currys it also offers Pizza, Burgers Kebabs etc. We will definately be ordering from Punja again.

We are obsessed with this curry house! The delivery time is quick, the meat in the curries is tender and plentiful and the taste is amazing. The naans are proper ones, not the cheap bike seat types. The garlic rice is my absolute favourite. We have also had kebabs from here and although the marinade on the chicken isnt to my personal preference, it was great quality. And a good Donner too! I will never order from any other curry house now we have found you!

Great telephone manner - not!!!! Only rung up to see if they can provide a menu, the bloke on the phone was ignorant.

We thought we would give this place a try after reading the fab reviews and it was closer to us than Taj in tickhill. So with our first order placed and hubby was saying how efficient everything looked, so we thought brill that’s a good start. We got home and our order was wrong! No Nan breads and one of the boiled rice we ordered was incorrect we had been given a brown coloured rice which I couldn’t make out what off the menu it was 😡 Omg we only ordered a meal each and starter so it wasn’t even a huge order😡 Ok so we thought just crack on and eat. The starter of pickle tray poppadoms and Bhaji was nice so we were looking forward to the main, hubs had chicken korma I had chicken Bhuna. Hubs enjoyed his (but he says that about everything lol) mine was very sweet and I’m guessing lots of butter?? as all I could smell was butter 🤮 there were literally no spices in It at all, it was so bland and horrid, the onions were still raw and the chicken was hard! not soft and succulent It actually made me feel 🤮 I threw it away and got a slice of toast 😡 First and last time we will buy from here and shall pass it onto friends not to buy and stick to travelling to tickhill from now on. What a waste of money

Best fast food for miles. Pizzas are to die for. Ordered from them now for years and only ever had one late order on Xmas eve. So would advise ordering early at busy times. Will swap topping at no extra cost. And always loads of food.

Regularly have a takeaway and pizzas are very,very good. Would also recommend Tandoori mixed grill - very tasty and good value for money. Delivery always on time.

I was recommended this place by a friend. It was very busy with customers which for me proves how popular what people think of the food. The kitchen is open and due to the popularity of this place there were lots of staff busily fulfilling orders..I had onion bhajis and a chicken naan. Both were her tasty and worth the wait.Well worth a visit and you will be filled to the brim. The staff were very polite and friendly.

Absolutely beautiful food, staff are very polite, and always smiling. Read the bad reviews on here and they must be living on cloud cuckoo land I’ve been a regular customer here for years and they have never let me down, every one makes mistakes and when they do at punjab they go out of their way to rectify the issue Always putting the customer first as I’m sure many of my friends and family will agree Keep up the good work guys & remember there’s always them that like to complain for no reason

All of the food here is amazing including the pizzas which are super tasty and not greasy. Have tried quite a few different curries here but every time we order now we always end up with the korma as its just so amazing, creamy rich and beyond anything we have tried anywhere else, we always compare any we have elsewhere to here and its never been beaten.

Had a chicken masala that was really sweet, didn't enjoy it at all. Not in the slightest spicy. Had to wash the chicken & make a sauce myself.

Yo vivo en mi para llevar así este Whiston local, pasamos unos curris que eran buenas, nada increíble para alucinar. La Pizza no me gusta de aquí como el queso no directamente y casi como de plástico, muy soso. El sur de pollo frito es preciosa y como KFC, pero no una grasienta y tiene más carne en el pollo. Fue sólo 2 libras. 70 por 2 piezas de pollo y chip, no me puedo quejar!

La comida es siempre fresca y sabrosa, llevar siempre están bien caliente y el orden son siempre correctos. Buena relación calidad-precio también.

Collected an order on a busy Saturday night. Was ready on time and order was 100% correct. Its great having one place with such a varied menu. Food was nice but wouldn't rave about it. Nothing specifically wrong but have had better. Saying that I would go again if the family wanted food from here.

I have been going here for years and to date I have never had a bad meal.What I have had is consistently very good food and served by very friendly staff that work here.It is an open kitchen so you can see your meal being prepared and the chefs know their stuff.If you want something a little different they will rustle it up for ya no bother.Everything is reasonably priced and the portions are very good.Give it a try and you will be back for more. I travel from Doncaster to here because it is that good.BIG THUMBS up from me.

Lucky for us this is our local takeaway.Food is always great be it pizza burgers or Indian food.Prompt delivery and good value for money, what more do you want!

Order takeaway regularly from Punjab, and have been for a few years, although they are not local to us and there is others closer to where we live, but fail by comparison and they are happy to deliver to Bramley, without extra charge. We always order the same, chicken tikka balti, garlic naan and the wedges, which are excellent as is the curry. Breads are ok for the price. Delivery is quick and food is always hot, so would recommend highly.

I'm a big fan of trying new places, however, I always come back to Punjab. Quality food and huge portions - flawless in every way.

We visit punjabis approx once a month. Always call and collect so can't comment on delivery side of things. Fantastic fast food cooked to order, been going here for about a year and food has always been spot on

Had a couple of curries here for the first time. They were both very good (if a little under spiced for my taste) and the accompanying rice and keema naan were also good, particularly the keema naan which had a nice bit of heat in it.The portions were large and represented very good value.

Read the previous good reviews and decided to give it a try.Order arrived,no popadoms,no mixed kebab,phoned immediately,person answering phone said we will deliver ASAP,ok I thought,I'll enjoy the rest.What a disappointment,Prawn Purée,bland and no bread,just a basic sauce with prawns,Special Biryani,mush of rice and minimal meat,accompanying sauce as bland as starter (same?)The missing meals never arrived despite the promises of the restaurant.In summary,a very poor standard meal,and I will never use your restaurant/takeaway again.

We have a delivery/takeaway from Punjab on average once a week as we know we can trust the food to remain at the same high standards. Our favourite meal is the chicken tikka on naan, huge portion, plenty big enough for 2 people especially when we pair it up with chips and salad. We are also partial to their veggie pizzas with an extra topping of jalapenos and chicken tikka, the dough is perfect and the amount of toppings is just right, super tasty! Deliveries can be a little long on busier days but no worse than any other fast food place. The staff are lovely, especially the owner who takes an interest in his customers.

Order from here at least one a week the curries are very very good and so are the pizzas!chicken tokka pizza is awsome and so is the meat feast!

After eating lots of takeaway curries in Rotherham we have finally found one that is great and always consistent. The staff are always polite and will ensure they do their best to get your curry just how you like it. The prices are very reasonable and they also deliver to you free of charge within a 3 mile radius . The food is cooked lovely and fresh and is plentyful, so glad this was recommended to us even though it's not local to us.

Always a favourite of ours growing up and still is to this day. Never found anywhere better. Lovely guys and great food, even the curries are superb (don't be fooled by its kebab shop image!)
