Shahjahan in Rotherham

I really recommend this place. Have been coming here for time. Food is amazing. We specially get the wedges every time and they are always spot on.

Today I ordered food from shahjahan but when I opened my pizza that was not which I ordered I am disappointed

I ordered then I read reviews unfortunately, alot of negative feedback, when the food arrived. My pizza only had half topping on it and it was rock solid. After reading the review I immediately rang the store please make sure its fresh and cooked well. What a waste of money, they did not even offer to send me another pizza like any other place would if they messed up on the order. Day light robbery.

Ordered pizza asian style. It was fabulous nice taste. Everyone try one time asian style pizza I hope you enjoy it. The prices were also very very reasonable. Go there to enjoy nice food I as went from derby to eat special pizza.

I recommend the curried food as that is all that I order!

Placed an order via telephone said it will be ready in 20mins collection, went inside to pick the order up and wanted a few extra bits with it, the chap who was behind the counter started showing off saying you've placed an order over the phone and your adding more bits to it, which all they had to was box it up the food was ready, how disgusting customer service is that, is that what you say to your customers why you ordering more food? Won't be ordering no more food had no taste to it 😕 sauces are vile.

I will buy full peri peri chicken it’s ok. but not juicy and peri peri taste but that chicken is good cook and naan it’s nice. maybe next time try other items

Ordered a special Turkish kebab on nan bread and a portion of chips. Got home to have my meal there was no bread and no chips.

Gone to dogs this place ordered a 16 pizza charge me for a carrybag for pizza and charge me extra 1.90 for delivery

Used these guys for over 20 years, tried others but always came back to Shajahan, the Grill Special is amazing but disapointed that they don't do curry anymore as they were the best I've ever had. Cheers guys!

Ordered a flame grilled chicken ended up with two chicken legs also also ordered a special veg pizza ended up with a cheese and tomato pizza. To say they are incompetent would be a understatement. I had a feeling the first person I placed my order with was not on the same planet so I rang back, he spoke to me to 10 seconds then all a heard was music. Do not bother

Fantastic place great food. Lamb chops in garlic nan. Friendly staff and clean place. Will be eating again here sometime soon. 2024 January and still ordering from here. Recently had kabab on garlic naan and absolutely loved it. Came before estimated time and still good prices.

You know the pizza is good if your coming all the way from Birmingham to get the same nostalgia feeling use to live in Sheffield always came here with my old man as a little kid whenever we had pizza night then unfortunately we moved to Birmingham (2012) soon as i passed my driving 2 years ago i never remembered the name but remembered it was opposite a royal mail went on google maps and there it was hoping it wasn't closed i checked on google and thankfully was still open haven't stopped coming to this place Birmingham is very popular for its fast food but you cant get good pizza like this from Birmingham the love that goes into these pizzas having a buttery base to having perfectly sliced vegetables i would highly suggest they open a shop in Birmingham ladypool road so i can get it alot more keep up the great work uncle your doing an awesome job with the fresh toppings and flavours 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Ordered a takeaway last night 2 mixed kebabs came as chip donner meat and 2 chicken thighs not at all what we ordered never ordering from here again was rubbish

The man behind the counter was very sarcastic! When taking me and my friends orders. He also said he prefers cash and not card when I insisted I want to pay by card. He had glasses on, shirt and bald head. Think he was the manager. Food was disgusting and service was terrible! First and last time. The pizza was falling apart. Chicken stunk and the sauces were runny! Avoid. Stick to imrans in Sheffield town.

Last Saturday I ordered one 9 inch pizza and one 12 inch pizza the person who takes order on the phone told me only have two three items no more than that because the person who makes the pizza has no time to put on lots of toppings I never heard this before very poor standards.

MISSING!!!! The rest of my chips if anyone sees them please return them to me. Did the delivery driver eat the chips. Waited 1 hr 10 mins for about 10 chips with my meal.

Food is great for what you pay for. Sometimes I find the pizza is a bit inconsistent. Sometimes it’s incredibly cooked overtime’s it’s average. The mix grill pizza I find though is consistently good.

Always the best customer service I receive and food portions are decent and quality is excellent and taste is amazing. I will recommend this takeaway in Rotherham to all my Family and Friends and no doubt that you will enjoy the food.

Ive been coming here for many years and food never dissapoints. Food is always freshly cooked and they do the best pizza (mix grill) that i have tried so far. Definitely recommended and will give them 10/10.

I have been ordering from shahjahan for quite a few years now. Recently ive found the meat on their pizzas has tasted off. My friends have had the same experience recently, im surprised i didnt fall ill. avoid ordering from here. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Food quality used to be better few years ago, today was probably last order from your takeaway, food was delivered with a van, the guy took it from back of the van here he didnt had a thermal bag and of course everything was stone cold, disrespectfull to receive your order like that in a back of a van without a thermal bag.

Wanted to let the owners of this business know that after 20 years of using your service the last 6/7months of food have really really dropped! Been always using your delivery service I always get told 45mins but it's always an hour and is always cold and get told will get sorted next time blah blah! SO YESTERDAY SATURDAY 11/03/23 I DECIDED TO PICK IT UP. I WALKED IN AND THE SHOP WAS EMPTY THERE WAS A WHITE GENTELMAN ON THE COUNTER WHO TOOK 20MINS JUST TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I WAS THERE, HE WAS TO BUSY ON HIS PHONE. MY FOOD COST ABOUT £28 TOOK IT HOME AND IT WAS WORSE THAN DELIVERY SERVICE! THE SOUTHERN FRY CHICKEN WAS BLACK FROM THE INSIDE WHICH I KNOW IS BLOOD AS I HAVE WORKED IN KFC AND YOU HAVE TO CLEAN THE BLOOD SOMETHING WHICH YOU DONT DO! THE MIX KEBAB COST £8 FOR A BIT OF CHICKEN TIKKA FEW STRIPS OF DONNER AND 1 SEEK KEBAB! SKY HIGH PRICES BUT NOT A CLUE OF HOW TO GIVE GOOD FOOD OR SERVICE ! DIDNT WANT TO PUT THIS REVIEW BUT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH ! PIZZA WAS ALSO DISGUSTING AND THE CHEF HAD HIS HANDS IN THE BIN AND THEN STRAIGHT BACK TO MAKING PIZZAS WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!

Waited extra 30 mins then originally asked to wait! Ordered turkish kebabs both came cold with more salad then actual chicken!!onions weren't even caramelized they were still under cooked! The worker there was handling the food with his bare hands instead of having gloves on or using a spatula or even tongs will not be ordering from here again!!

I feel like the takeaway has gone downhill. The food was wet through and completely cold. The chicken was absolutely pink and not cooked properly. The donner tasted absolutely horrible and the wedges were not cooked properly.

Ordered lamb chops on nan yesterday 17/10/22 I was charged £10 for them which is ridiculously overpriced. 4 small chops with barely any meat on them. They were bland, rubbery and smelt!! Been to restaurants like royal nawab and even they don’t charge that much. This place really needs to think about it’s pricing and quality as it has gone downhill recently. The curry’s were the only thing keeping this place going now they have gone everything is going downhill! Really disappointed!

Worst service I have ever received have been waiting for the order 2 hours calling and been saying that will be delivered within 5 min continuously for another 1 hour. After 3 hours they said the driver not answering the phone and if I want new fresh order. And as excuse they said that the website is down. First and last time I have made a order

Don’t get how they think they can get away with printing a new Menu and then still charging you more when your ordering it on phone. Sometimes no sauce, sometimes gets it wrong. Avoid if you can, decent if you wanna eat again after a couple of months then fair enough but not worth it. pizza burnt a lot of times too!

I have been buying food from here for 2 years, last two times pizza was over cooked and last night I thought I will take pic and post it. Not everyone finish the pizza right away, mostly I eat half pizza at night and rest next day morning, if it overcooked like this when I reheat in the morning about once inch of the edges are not eatable. Don't take this as a complaint, its feedback for improvement and give sauce please even if people just buy just pizza

Ordered daytime and all the food was absolute garbage. Ordered pizza and fast food, very very disappointed. This is a staple of Rotherham. It’s value and quality can’t be beat. It’s pizzas, chicken and kebab are all very fairly priced and freshly made every day. A lot of takeaways have popped up in Rotherham but shajahans has the stood test of time.

Rubbish service and takes over an hour to deliver, sent the takeaway back a couple times as it was cold
