I don’t understand why a chicken tikka masala tastes like pure tomato’s. The chicken biryani was dry and tasteless. Also chips were cold.

it was the worst Indian takeaway I've ever had, bland tastless food.

I ordered a takeaway on Saturday night and without doubt it was the worst meal I've ever had, the chef and owners should be ashamed of the food they let leave their establishment. Even the Rice and Naan Bread was poor.

watery curry with no king prawns in, shocking pickle tray, tasteless naan and microwave onion bhaji, save your money

Absolutely fantastic place. They cater well to the customers. I asked for a specific curry and they made it. Staff are so polite and treat everyone amazingly well. I highly recommend this place for a staff night out or a casual dinner.

Delivery time estimated at 35 - 45 mins, actually arrived 2 hours 10 mins after ordering with the excuse that the restaurant was busy. Why take takeaway orders if you can't honour them. We won't ever be ordering from here again!

The food was great but the masala chips that we ordered were a really small portion for £2.50. Half a small trays worth of chips doesn’t really cut it.

Very nice and very quick delivery

Not sure if they've changed chefs but the food was no where near its previous quality - I threw more than half away. Mushrooms in rice were burnt and the rice was in clumps. Meat in the curry was fine but everything cooked down as if warmed up. Really disappointed.

Would highly recommend to visit this place, lovely food, friendly staff and a good atmosphere all in all a very good experience.

Lovely food but sent plain naan not cheese that was ordered

This is an update, so to go in and have a meal, the food is nice and the staff are friendly (at least the last time I went in) but the takeaways are not very nice, I've probably had 2 nice takeaways all the rest I haven't eaten, the staff are more than friendly, so I would recommend going to dine in.

I didn’t want to leave a bad review because they agreed to give me a refund but I never got it. Spent £50 on food and didn’t eat any of it. Meat was mushy, chicken wasn’t cooked, masala chips were chilli powder chips, worst thing I’ve ever ordered on this app. Don’t waste your money honestly.

All the food was great like always! But had a problem with the delivery driver I don’t know wether it was an accident or not but the delivery driver did try the door before knocking luckily the door was locked :)

Food very flavourlesss, arrived luke warm, naan bread cold and dry. Ordered a fair bit and not enough for feed us. Not much meat in each dish mainly sauce

Chicken tikka garlic balti was not good at all. We’ve had it previously and it’s been brilliant. Both naan breads overcooked to the point of being crunchy. Soggy pakoras- no one likes that. Tarka daal fantastic and the flavour of the Kashmiri naan brilliant (shame it was overcooked).

I ordered a chicken tikka starter but it wasn't chicken tikka. Curry's were okay not really spicy enough for a vindaloo. Naans were hard.

I'm sorry to say this is the worst takeaway my husband and I have ever had. We asked for the tandoori special and all the meat looked like it had been deep fried (not grilled) and quite frankly some of we didn't touch because it just looked horrible. We've eaten Indian food countless times from a huge range of places, including restaurants and weddings and this is by far the worst we've had. The meat was inedible and the onion bhajis were oily. We asked for pilau rice and received brown rice!? Definitely won't be returning. Spice Rack in Handsworth is by far superior if you want good Indian food.

Ordered well in advance for 7:30pm, but was still late. Not sure how this can happen, what’s the point of being able to specify a time!? Other than that, food was good.

Amazing food, really tasty and fresh but came way top early. We ordered so that we could get sorted and settled for food arriving but we weren't ready at all. Still nice and will order again! Thank you.

I hadn’t been to this restaurant for quite a while. Seven of us went and all ordered our favourite foods that were really nice. The waiter however seemed like he didn’t want to be there, we all paid individually which left a payment of £11 outstanding when we ask what this was for the waiter just shrugged his shoulders and said he didn’t know. He wasn’t very helpful so we just paid it anyway and left. Still no idea what it was as we’d all paid for what we’d ordered. Will probably go back though because the food were nice.

I am not sure why this place has so many good reviews. The food was bland, the naan was thin and hard.

Tikka was fully of oil made everything soggy

The butter chicken was very tomato based small chicken pieces and very disappointed with the whole meal

not from around here but it caught my eye as one of the few indian places near where i was staying. it was very quiet as it was a tuesday night so perfect for me. parking was available all up the road near the restaurant too, even directly outside. i ended up parking a 5 min walk away and it was very safe service was quick and he was very polite. i got this mixed grill thing which came with a bowl of curry. I’ve never had this anywhere else and it was phenomenal. didn’t spend more than £15 all in and i was stuffed

2nd takeaway meal in succession, very bland, onion salad poor and little flavour on peshwari naan, pickle tray pots getting smaller, no salad with chicken tikka starter and no raita with bhaji.

This was our first order, it wont be the last. Food was delicious,tender meat and hot ,delivery was spot on too. 100% recommend

Been meaning to leave a review for a couple of years now so here goes, The food is amazing and by far the best for miles everything is done to perfection and nothing is to much trouble when I asked for different ingredients added to my curry, the staff are amazing H especially always has time for a chat. When we ordered it said on website 35-50 mins for delivery. When we placed order it was about 1 hour 30. It took 2 hours to come from placing order.

40 minutes late food freezing. Refused to resend order straight away said that would take an hour for fresh order

We preordered in advance for 9.00pm delivery - when the order was accepted by the restaurant they put our order back to 9.35pm. Which was frustrating. But when the food arrived inbetween both times at 9.20pm it was hot, tasty and the delivery man was polite. Will definitely order again!

Worst meal I have had in all the time I’ve used this place was definitely not usual standard, food was cold didn’t taste the best & the chicken puri starter was the worst thing I’ve ever tasted & its normally my favourite starter I use this place 3/4 times a month and I visit to eat in regularly including numerous parties but if the next ones anything like tonight’s it’l b the last order unfortunately

Only used this restaurant for takeaway due to our regular one being closed. The food wasn’t what we were expecting. We had the mixed grill starter which wasn’t great and a korma for main. We have been poorly all day today and it’s definitely not due to spice in the food as it was mild. Won’t be using again.

Curries were delicious and fresh. The sundrie portion sizes were on the small side, particular the pickles for popadoms and chips

We visit regularly, always sit at the same table, and always order a combination of starters. Bit like and Indian Tapas. All the food is fresh and of excellent quality and can highly recommend for such a small place. Excellent service also.

I order from here a good six if not more times a month and I regularly visit the restaurant to eat inside as it is my all time favourite Indian however this one really disappointed me. The onion bhajis were cold hard and full of grease, the korma wasn’t as nice as usual and it’s a shame as I never usually have a problem but it’s really put me off reordering for a while

I had the akash special and it was completely tasteless with what can only be described as rubber bullets as prawns, half of the people were left waiting for food while others had finished ( we were the only people in the restaurant) the nann bread came when everyone had finished

Nothing wrong with it really, just no where near as good as my usual takeaway which was closed. Flavour wasn’t there and it was a bit salty overall. Could just be me expecting something more robust.

Sorry but that was the most bland korma I ever had, not sweet or anything. ReaLly disappointed. Last time it was nice, have a word with your chef. Was more like a jar type of sauce
