Terrible service, after ringing up to see where my food was she couldn’t tell me, 15 min pasted by and still nothing so rang again and huffing and puffing down phone till I said I’ll come to shop and have it all cooked fresh, soon changed the attitude! Never again

We Ordered food at 5.50, with an estimated delivery of 7.10-7.30pm I chased up the order at 7.40pm to be told they are very short staffed, and they only have one delivery driver on, only when I queried so what happens now I was then asked for my address to check if it had been “pinned” I was told it was pinned and was out for delivery, it arrived 20 minutes later at 8pm, by a very friendly chatty driver who was lovely. The garlic naan was amazing and really was very good, the food was nice, not the best, but certainly not the worst, and maybe if it had arrived hot it would have been better. Not sure if I would use again if I’m honest, the quality and experience for the price was not great.

We have enjoyed the Bengal's food for 14 years and havent been disappointed once. We order for home delivery and the food is always excellent - a very definite 5 stars

Delivered and good quality only issue is leaving it on door step and walking away not waiting until door open and passing it through!

Delivery driver was lovely but the order was completely wrong unfortunately and given the distance for delivery, there was no point in re-ordering after waiting almost 2 hours for this order. Luckily, the order we did get was okay (except the choice of naan). Food was not warm either but that's most likely due to the distance for delivery.

Curry and naan was really nice but chips was disgusting and went in the bin

Order x2 starters and poppadoms at 19:20, estimated delivery 21:00 arrived 21:45. Almost 2:30 hours for a simple order. When the order arrived it was cold. Onion Bhajis were like Frisbees and very hard. Very poor quality. I have used this restaurant for over 19 years. Will not be using again.

Stunning food as always, the flavours are amazing.

Don’t know if the chef has changed but the garlic nans tasted like cleaning fluid, we couldn’t eat them and had to throw them away. The curry’s didn’t taste like they normally do either.

Good quality food delivered on time and tasty. Food is nicely spiced and portions are good. A lot of Indian food in S Yorks doesn't taste particularly Indian and is basically bland - well done for cooking proper food.

Onion bhaji was too solid to eat, very little meat in the curry - too many mushrooms instead. Both of us were a bit poorly the day after.

I always order from Bengal, but I stopped for a while as the quality see.ed to have deteriorated, but the last two orders we have received are back to their usual standards. It's really tasty food of good quality.

Brilliant overall really and disappointed that I can't give full marks. First of all, the taste and consistency of the curry itself was perfect. In fact, one of the best I've ever had. Sadly however; we recieved a spicy garlic naan rather than garlic naan which was disappointing for my mrs as she couldn't have any of my peshwari and isn't a lover of heat. I still enjoyed it this morning with her remaining sauce but isn't what was ordered. Everyone is human, easy enough to make a mistake and the quality made up for it anyway from my point of view.

Delivered to 72 Yarwell Drive, I found this out at 7.40pm 26.12.22 after visiting there address. I told them to bin it. Been in a house for over an hour. Rang bengals up to complain. They said it's there fault. It's a digital reciept how can you mix up addresses???

The nan bread was like it wasn't cooked it was all white

Its obvious the chef has changed recently as the food quality has been different for a while, this isnt a one off we have ordered a few times to make sure. Very tiny and very hard and dry pakoras, old tasting poppadoms and rice, and 4 TINY pieces of chicken in a £7.50 curry, there was more coriander in it than meat. This used to be our favorite restaurant but unfortunately we wont be ordering from here anymore. It has really gone down hill since the change in the food. Sorry.

This used to be the best local Indian, but I won’t be in a rush to go back. Unfortunately the past few times it hasn’t been great. Our rice was stodgy, the Poppadoms were soft and not fresh. The lamb was also very tough. The actual flavour of the curry was nice but not enough to make up for the lack of freshness.
