The best restaurants serving Default food in Newland Kingston upon Hull, City of Yorkshire and The Humber

Went here a bit later at night on a saturday, so as a result i was in here just to drink, seemingly like everyone else in there, but the food looked good from images on menus, online etc and i have heard good things before. As for my personal experience, the drinks were very good, a nice selection of beers on draught, not many cocktails on offer (be aware me and my friends found a cocktail menu for this place online and upon attempting to buy them the staff did not know what they were and it turned out this online menu was very very old, please keep in mind i am not blaming the very friendly and helpful staff at all, or even the business in general, just be aware if you also stumble across this online) the cocktails they did offer were tasty, as were the beers i mentioned before. The outdoor seating area was beautiful and very large, with undercover seating areas in sheds, under canopies etc, they also had a very large shed with seats etc inside but this was closed for a private event. As i mentioned before, the staff were lovely. Slightly expensive but i do not mind this at all in such a lovely place. Highly recommend

Lovely spot with tasty food and a great selection of drinks, ice creams, and desserts. Plenty of options to choose from, and the service is quick too – no long wait times. Definitely worth stopping by!

Fun atmosphere with great Texas style barbecue - huge portions and friendly staff, with two for one cocktails on weekdays...

I highly HIGHLY recommend petras!! Its my favourite place to eat in Hull. My go to is the 5 peri peri strips, veg biryani as well as the hot wings, delicious!!

Abs awful Top pick chicken & ( overcooked) chips. One piece of slimy grey chicken & 2 wings.we order on a regular basis..won't be doing now..

I've always highly rated Indus and used them for many years but last night's takeaway was awful. I ordered keema korma, rice, chips and a garlic nan. What I received was a chicken korma, keema rice and a slab of uncooked dough that I presume was the garlic nan. The chips were OK tho hence why I didn't rate it lower. Such a shame but won't use again.

It was very expensive but your car would be properly fixed. Very talented lads.

Downhill, my wife and I went out a late lunch for my birthday, having used Sleepers for many years, from it first opening. Having chosen a starter to share, it arrived very quickly, within 2 minutes. Now that tells me one thing straight away. Considering we were the only one's in. We then received the mains very shortly after, I ordered the chicken Satay and my wife Beef stroganoff. Yet again it was scalding hot and arriving in a very short period of time. The so called Satay had no peanut's in it at all ,it tasted like indian curry. The so called chef's response was that's the way it comes, basically take it or leave it. I opted for the fish and chips 'Bang' it arrived immediately. Scalding again, mediocre to say the least. Sleepers used to cook food fresh to order and used to be lovely food, not reheated microwave crap, if I wanted that I'd have gone to spoons at a 3rd of the price, absolutely nothing wrong with spoons.at least you know what you're going to get . And the customer service is far better. So the so called chef/ microwave operatives attitude stinks, he kept looking out of the kitchen window. Unfortunately Sleepers has gone from lovely food to paying a lot for poor microwaved food. Not impressed at all .

Buena selección de desayunos, no es un amante del aguacate, así que lo encuentro irritante en los huevos Benedict pero el personal amable y encantado de hacer una enmienda. El servicio era mezcla de mesa e ir a bar (café traído a la mesa pero azúcar en barra si es necesario) y sí pusieron calefacción a las 9 : 30 👍Tenía hachís chorizo y feta era precioso, amigo tenía tortitas y realmente disfrutaba. Puede hacer una taza de té decente😁
