Over cooked starter. Too long a wait between courses. Outdated decor, and needs a spring clean. Parking is wholly inadequate.

Absolutely blown away by our experience at The Mayflower Pub! The food was nothing short of phenomenal—every bite packed with flavor and clearly crafted with care. From start to finish, the service was exceptional: warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the kitchen and the front of house so perfectly. This is a great bar and restaurant with different spaces in it with different moods some better for drinking some better for eating et cetera. Great quirky decorations which make the place really interesting and you will keep discovering new things to look at. Service was really friendly and helpful and prompt. Food was great, really tasty and the Sunday roast was sublime. Really enjoyed my experience here

This company are thieves I ordered a takeaway and when it arrived they had no change it cost 9 pounds something and they had no change I said call it ten pounds and they said they would return the ten pounds next day of course I never received it phoned up which I recorded phone call and they said they would put 10 pounds through letter box on Sunday only received 5 pounds I am in the last staged of heart failure which I told them I can’t believe how cruel they are bruce

Collected a large order from here for my family. Unfortunately the food was awful.Had one two weeks earlier which was nice but this one tasted like it was reheated left overs from the day before. Wasted money.

Nice little place in the town,could do with bigger tables,good breakfast, good staff, need to keep door close to much noise from traffic, I would go again ,parking over the road
