Super friendly and accommodating for our party of 8 including 4 kids. Everybody happy! Great lunch. Kids enjoyed bacon sandwiches.

Great coffee and cake. Hubby had a slice of Millionaire Shortbread and our friend and I had the BEST carrot cake 😋😋. Steve and Trudy welcomed us with warmth and huge happy smiles. They offer a varied breakfast/light lunch menu as well as loads of specialty jams & chutney’s to buy. If we could give The Cake House 10 stars we absolutely would. Thank you.

Great cafe in Grassington, with fantastic gluten free knowledge and choices with the most amazing gluten free bread. I had seen reviews for being gluten free on their menu, and whilst in Grassington recently watching filming of All Creatures Great and Small, we had a lovely brunch, sat in the sunshine. The staff were so friendly and helpful and confident with gluten free choices and the food came out with an allergy flag - always a great sign. My husband had a normal sausage sandwich, and I had a gluten free bacon sandwich - both tasted great and we really enjoyed our brunch, along with a pot of tea. A great find and no hesitation in recommending, and when next in Grassington will return here totally.

Wanted a gluten free lunch and after trying a different cafe, this one came up trumps. Friendly staff, food was amazing and I ordered a scone which was by far one of the best I’ve eaten. I can’t recommend this place enough, lovely place and far better attitude to customers than one of the other ones in Grassington. Will definitely be going there again

We had just finished a hike (Grassington and Conistone circular), so we were a bit under-dressed for this very nice restaurant. My fault - didn’t do the research! We’d booked in advance given it was Good Friday but it was not very busy. Service was really lovely. Menu was not extensive and surprisingly after our exertions, we were not ravenous - so we ordered some sandwiches. All the food was terrific.

Dent normally write reviews.. but.... this was outstanding ...quaint - cosy - pristine... friendly - great menu.. additional specials... what's not to love. We had breakfast hash and because we don't like mushrooms Gary & Becky were only too happy to swap them out for onions and an extra egg!! It was beautifully cooked and so tasty.. will be back again next week... An absolute gem!!

Always a great experience, but yesterday was exceptional. We arrived way too early and could fully understand us having a lengthy wait, given that they had a large party of diners. This would put extra pressure on the kitchen and waiting staff. Despite this we were shown to our table and offered the menu's ( we were even offered a quieter table). Food was excellent, service spot on. This was my husbands first 'dine out' since his recent emergency heart surgery 3 weeks ago, so it was a much needed break for both of us. We alternate with their sister establishment, The Tempest. They are run like privately owned hostelries and far outstrip their competition. Highly recommend The Fountaine

I can't say enough good things about this little coffee house! The food was delicious as was the coffee. Their hospitality was warm, inviting, friendly, funny - my list could go on and on. They have seating inside as well as outside. There are lots of yummy choices on their menu. The baked goodies are made fresh each morning by the owner (who was just so lovely). Honestly, this was our favorite place to grab a bite in Grassington.

Lovely stop half way on our Grassington loop. Great food and service. 10/10 Dog friendly with plenty of outside seating and the little huts are very romantic. Food was great and filled our bellies ready for our walk back to Grassington. Worth walking a few hundred mtrs down the track to Hebden Bridge and the river. You can walk back to Grassington along this

I have visited The Stripey Badger many times but this time we pre ordered the afternoon tea and it was unbelievable. I just love this quaint country tearoom, the exceptional quality of the food, the service and the friendly atmosphere it’s just a fabulous place to visit. Our afternoon tea was one of the best I’ve ever had, amazing value for money and just so much attention to detail. Be warned it’s huge, all homemade and delicious. Always a lovely visit and will be back. Can’t recommend enough!
