What a lovely quirky cafe. The owners were super friendly and welcoming. We had hot chocolate and scones with jam and cream and both the drink and scones were delicious. Best hot chocolate drink we have tasted and in a nice large cup too. There was lots of cakes to choose from and they all looked delicious. We will definitely return for lunch as the menu was very appetising.

This is a fantasist hidden gem at the top of the square. I have been twice now, and on both occasions the food and hospitality were both top notch. It has a great family feel and I am already looking forward to coming back.

Just what was needed yesterday after visiting the Christmas market in the rain. The vegan chocolate cake (served warm) was the best I have ever had since becoming dairy intolerant. So good I took a piece home for today. Delicious, hot oat milk latte too Dad was also impressed with his scone. Can highly recommend whether you are vegan or not. Super friendly staff too.

Excellent cakes & coffee on a cold sunny day. Busy but worth waiting. Clean and tidy with quite a few inside tables as well.

An excellent independent café in the picturesque market town of Grassington. The home made cakes were really delicious and the coffee so much better then any high street coffee chain. Our warm cheese scone was excellent and went well with the soup. Add to this the friendly staff and the great ambience.

Worth the stroll up hill from the village centre! A myriad cakes to choose from and we had delicious lunches too. Generous portions of homemade, fresh, tasty tidbits and excellent coffee. They even gave us a handful of dog treats for my mums dog, to keep her entertained. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and it was a lovely bright space to dine in. Top notch offering.

We have walked past the Cake House but for a variety of reasons never called in. However when we did we were glad we did. We had teas and shared a cake. All excellent. Nice atmosphere and good service.

Visited Grassington today, my wife stated she just wanted a cup of tea and some good home baking and after a wander we came across this little gem. Parked ourselves outside while my wife went to order. Well I was present by a slice of fruitcake and a slice of Wensleydale cheese as well as a coffee. Now I’m not an expert on fruitcake, but I know what I like and prior to today the best fruitcake I’ve had in my 55 years was one from Harrods. The fruitcake I had today at this little tearoom blew that out of the park. It was absolutely delicious. Most fruitcakes are dry and crumbly, this was moist, soft and perfect. I am a fan of good coffee, and it wasn’t bad either, both the cakes my wife and daughter had were also said to be perfect. Keep it up, good cafes with good quality food are hard to find. I’ll definitely be back. Well worth the treck over the hills and down the valleys from Richmond.

Any time this place is open, do take the chance to pop in for a drink, snack or meal....a very friendly place with a good choice (including vegetarian) on the menu; the family team are happy to speedily prepare and serve just what you order in a quirky, well presented small cafe. Excellent value, quality food!

This place is in a beautiful location. After a hard day cycling, we we had run out of water and food. Although the tea-room was closed we asked if our water bottles could be topped up. The lady who owns the place was busy but she could not have been more kind and helpful. She brought us delicious home-made chocolate cake and filter coffee and stayed for a chat. Absolutely amazing customer service and saved us that day! Thank you!

First stop on the way out of Hubberholme when walking. 3 of us had the cream tea; wonderful home made scones with home made jam & lashings of cream- scrumptious Scar House Tea Garden highly recommended.

After some research of the Grassington coffee shops and tea rooms, what a great find The Corner House Café is. On a dry October Sunday morning Grassington was very busy. We arrived for a late breakfast around 11:20 and despite there being no indoor spaces on arrival the fantastic host said she'd find a table in a tick. True to her word, we'd sat down outside for a minute and she was calling us in. Their staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly with some Yorkshire humour thrown in. The food and drinks were excellent and the takeaway cakes were delicious and set us up for our walk across the dales. Will we return, will we 'eck as like 😁
