Omg what a fabulous little find just across the street from where we were staying .. the food was absolutely delicious all cooked and served within quick time and service was outstanding — so much so that the little things like lime pickle we asked if we could buy some so they offered us a tub to pick up the next day .. fantastic . All the curries were so tasty just too many to mention . As a whole fantastic little restaurant

Stayed in the village for 1 night, couldn’t get a table at another popular restaurant but discovered this little Indian Restaurant. Very small dining area, but the food was delicious and service was great too. Take your own drink which was absolutely fine, as off licence was a minute walk away. We thought the starters, main and side dishes very very reasonably priced too. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Very small, drinks served from a mini fridge at the back of the room, people crammed in like sardines and music on a CD player also at back. Tables had to be reached over to get to, waiter had to brush by people to get around. Worst curry ever, just meat in sauce, lamb was chewy and sauce was over spiced and under cooked. Classic bhuna like nothing I’ve had before, will not return. Cash only and old style till placed on top of a huge freezer. As we were leaving chef was at the fridge which is also near the cash desk. He looked sweaty and had a dirty apron on. Don’t waste your money.

We were staying in Grassington and fancied a change from the excellent fare in our hotel so decided to try out the local Indian. Beware, their main business seems to be take aways for the locals and they only have 4 tables in an upstairs room so best to book ahead or arrive early ( by 7 ) to get a table. Food was excellent and arrived quickly but beware ( again) as they only take cash ( the place seems to have missed COVID somehow ) . The local cash machine wasn’t working ( probably rusted up through disuse ) but we just about managed to scrape together enough currency to pay for our meal.

Always come to this great Indian restaurant when we are in Grassington. Never fails. The restaurant is above the Take Away and is quite small but they serve fantastic food at amazing prices Take your own drinks and enjoy wonderful food. As with most Asian restaurants the service is first class with polite and knowledgeable waiters. Coming here is one of the main reasons that we come to this lovely village.

Absolutely fantastic evening. The restaurant is upstairs and very small and cosy. The food was absolutely excellent and the server, Jaleb (Joe), was very attentive and friendly. The prices were very, very reasonable. We really enjoyed the meal and would highly recommend this restaurant. Do not be out off by the fact that the restaurant looks very small from the outside and please note that this is a "Bring your own bottle" restaurant and that they only accept cash.

Well it is not the most inspiring of rooms, we were greeted by chap who reminded us it was cash only, why? Anyway got some cash and we were shown upstairs, we were the only ones eating and ordered a couple of glasses of water as no booze served. I had usual mixed kebab and my wife onion bhaji. Both were very good, my kebab was well cooked and tender and was generally good as was OB. Mains arrived, I had naga chicken which was well spoilt and was truly hot and spiced as describe so be careful, my wife had Beg balti which she said was ok and both served with a bland pilau. My curry was bang on and gets 10/10. Chapatis, I've eaten thousands and these were the best by a mile. Don't expect posh or sheek just an old style curry house. I'd revisit, wife unsure.

We have eaten at Y Groes on many previous occasions and have enjoyed good service and delicious food. That is why we recommended it to other members of the family who hadn't been there before. Their meals were okay but mine was so disappointing - the sea bass was over cooked and shrivelled, potatoes and spinach were too, my husband's steak was the worst he’d ever had, requested it to be well done, it was pink. We are local and, sadly, may never go there again. What a pity as it's a charming hotel in a nice location.

We have just enjoyed a short break to Grassington and were pleased to find a Indian restaurant there and managed to book a table, we arrived on time only to be told our table was not ready and we has to wait in the takeaway area, after 20 minutes waiting our table was ready, we were taken upstairs to a very small restaurant where social distancing would not be easy if there had been more than just us in there, looking at other tables it was clear other tables had been in use but not cleaned or sanitised, my wife used the WC only to find the method given for hand drying was a normal hand towel, no paper towels or hand drier. After quite a wait I went downstairs to ask if they would come and take our order, I was told they would be up soon but were very busy with takeaways, eventually we ordered but it didn’t go well, the waiter was clearly not happy when I questioned how long it would be once ordered, I was told restaurant orders were given priority, shame restaurant orders didn’t, when our pickle tray arrived it clear to see it had been previously used, one of the sauces had residue on the dish considerably higher than the actual sauce level, this didn’t happen by being just carried, the spoon in the sauce had sauce the full length of the handle, when raising this issue I was told it had been freshly prepared, sorry but it hadn’t.That was our queue to leave, we went downstairs to inform them of our decision, then a elderly gentleman emerged from the kitchen to say he was pleased we were leaving because they were busy with takeaways, also noticed in a age when contact is being kept to a minimum that they are a cash only payment.I cannot comment on the food as we were not prepared to stay in this establishment any longer as we both felt very unsafe and also felt the proprietor was not overly interested in keeping COVID safe.

This was my first order from Rozi's and was made during the Coronavirus lockdown so was a take away. The food was cooked to perfection, from the first bite of a deliciously crisp and fresh poppadom. We ordered and received the best value Biryani on Earth, magnificent Dansak and Lemon rice, a superb set of starters and equally great side dishes. Not one item disappointed. We chose all vegetarian options but have no doubt that the meat dishes will be equally as good. This was real expertly done craft cuisine. The service was friendly, very polite both on the phone and at the takeaway and the place was clean, hygienic and well set up for the times. You may have to wait a while as it doubles as a takeaway. Five tables upstairs that’s all so book in advance. No cards or licence so take your own booze. Food exceptional as is the service. Essential to visit whilst in the area as an alternative to the excellent pub grub in the village

We come to Rozi's every time we are in Grassington as we absolutely love it. The menu is extensive, the quality of the food is exceptional and Ali always looks after us. We love it so much that we compare every curry we have to Rozi's - it sets the bar high! Highly recommended.

Looking for lunch whilst visiting the Christmas Market. This was the only place that didn't have a queue, you question why? But we needn't have worried, the welcome was great, no waiting for food, which was excellent. Well varied, freshly prepared and very tasty. Reasonable prices and will definitely return if attending Grassington in the future.Well done and thankyou.

Visited in early November as we were staying in Grassington - after reading reviews we were not disappointed! Staff couldn’t do enough for us, they explained over the phone they’re a small restaurant, cash only and unlicensed. We popped to the spa round the corner to grab some drinks & cash and after asking for recommendations were served within minutes. Super friendly and professional service - no corkage but happy to store our drinks in the fridge and provide glasses. We both agreed it was one of the best curries we’d had and we’ve tried a few! Fantastic experience, and plenty of leftovers to take home - we finished it off and left the B&B smelling of curry when we left two days later! Worth it!

Genuinely great little Indian restaurant. There’s no license so take your own beer/wine. They don’t charge corkage so it really keeps the bill down. (Which is handy as you have to pay in cash). We had most of the vegetable side dishes ( we’re veggie and it makes the meal more varied) The food was excellent and our waiter was charming.

Vegetarian options are plentiful here, unlike in the rest of Grassington, so I was spoilt for choice. We had poppadums and pickle tray to start with, which were so nice. Really nice staff and gorgeous curries. Cash only, but you can take your own alcohol as they've no licence. Nice!

As we love Indian food and we were on a mini break in Grassington, we thought we’d give the local Indian a try and we weren’t disappointed! The restaurant/takeaway isn’t licensed so you need to bring your own alcohol but as there are two shops within 100m selling alcohol, that’s not an issue. We were seated in the upstairs area which has around 5/6 tables and the waiter was prompt and efficient taking our orders. They were happy to accommodate kids portions and bringing out our daughters main meal whilst we enjoyed our starters. Everything was nicely presented and well cooked and we all enjoyed the whole experience even though we were the only people in the restaurant. If you love Indian food and you’re staying locally and craving a curry, then this place is a must. Personally I’d recommend the chicken chaat starter and I opted for a madras strength chicken tikka masala which they accommodated and nailed !

After reading the reviews, we booked for dinner here. I have to say, given all the reviews and all their accolades, we were expecting great things. Firstly, the staff seemed disinterested and bored. The restaurant was pretty cold, despite the fact we were sitting next to a radiator. I had the vegetable Balti, which was just OK. It tasted like they had used mixed frozen vegetables and the sauce was nothing special. My husband had Hydra Badi Chicken, and said it was one of the blandest curries he had ever tasted. It wasn't a bad meal, but did not meet the hype...or come anywhere close.

Beware if there is only 2 of you wanting to eat out here. Waiter refused to let us sit on a table for 4 because there was only 2 of us. There were 3 empty tables for 4 plus 1 table for 2, but that was pushed up to the service counter and that was the table the waiter offered us. We didn't want to sit immediatly next to where customers would be hovering over us whilst paying for and collecting take-aways and where the phone was ringing and conversations between the waiter and customers were regularly taking place. When he said we couldn't sit elsewhere, I said 'we'll leave it then'. Then the waiter responded, in a sarcastic voice, with a 'BYEEE'. So that's a loss of income for them of between £1500-£1700 over the next year as we would have called in for a sit down meal for two every fortnight, plus a takeaway for two once a fortnight. We then had a meal at one of their competitors and then walked around Settle before heading off home. Whilst walking around Settle we looked into the Spice restaurant again to see if all the tables that we had been refused the use of, had now been taken. There were still 3 tables for 4 that were empty, plus the same table for 2, that is pushed up to the counter, was also empty. PS We had been to the Spice a fortnight earlier and the same waiter had tried to have us sit at the same table by the counter. On that occasion we asked if we could sit on another table and when he said no, we asked 'why not?' He then said 'ok' and we sat elsewhere. We didn't want to go through the same 'negotiation' for a second time. It's dimple, if they don't value us as customers then we'll spend our money elsewhere.

Our second visit, while staying nearby on holiday. Generous portions and great value. Could have done with a reminder that it is cash only when ordering by phone, but a cash point is just round the corner. Looking forward to our next visit

We order from this takeaway regularly. Decided to order via phone rather than just eat, to save us extra charges and them. When they show up they charged us extortionate prices for the bare minimum food order we ordered. Put it this way they were very expensive kebabs and donner meat and chips! When rung and confronted about this price they told us they charge just eat prices even without just eat taking the extra cost from them which they don’t state on their business website and had no explanation for this really either. Poor customer service and quite frank a Robbing service too! Think before ordering as I’m sure you could get the same food at half the price elsewhere. Daylight robbery whether they’re over charging or the delivery guy is pocketing the extra money!
