The best restaurants serving Default food in Coombe Hill Tewkesbury South West

Visiting the area.. didn't have a clue where go or how to get there. Phoned and spoke to James who was brilliant and gave us massive help with public transport. Food and service was fabulous. Steak pie and hotpot both great. Bus stop just outside to take us a mile back to the campsite.. would recommend. Fantastic hosting.

We've been to this pub a couple of times for their burger nights. The pub itself is beautiful and clean. The food is good 👍 😋. The service is good, but the blonde woman at the bar does seem a bit bitter and lacks customer service. Every other staff member was fantastic 👏. The seating outside is nice, as it has nice views of the countryside. There is a small play area for the kids and lots of parking.

Lovely evening along with 20 other people for my friends Hen night. Food was pre ordered a week in advance as we were such a big party. All meals were served on time and cooked lovely. Simon and his team looked after us for the evening as well as other guests that were in the restaurant so they had a very busy evening. Well done to everyone

Well yet again not let down booked a table for Sunday Dinner Food was Amazing as usual and Plentiful Staff Excellent couldn't do enough for you first class service Steve the Barman was on form and had a good selection of Ciders on Sale and even offered a taste test Well it was a lovely afternoon and weather was glorious to sit in there garden after our meals Thanks Again and See You Soon All

Disappointed pub will shut over the winter

Walked in for a table of 5 to be told it’s only For hotel guests x tables were all empty x not good service at all x I felt the waiter was rude too

Having had a great meal and service in the past, I bought two, £70.00 gift vouchers for my family for Christmas. I wanted to use them for a family celebration meal, only to be told I could only use 1 voucher per table. They have had our £140.00 since Christmas. Why then can't we spend it in one go? Is it as good as cash, surely? I am very disappointed that they have had my cash since Christmas and now I want to spend it, the restrictions prevent this. I am not aware of any other company having such restrictions. My advice is not to buy gift vouchers for this establishment as it is tricky to retrieve your cash.

I was drawn to Sainsbury's as I had some voucher to spend on a £60 shop. I most often shop at lidl or Aldi and found Sainsbury's really expensive, even when compared to Tesco. Also, there was only one assisted checkout and all the others being self-service. This is pitiful given the amount you are spending. I won't be rushing back.

The advert showed that breakfast was included. However upon arrival we were told it's not included and never has been. When we showed the information to the receptionist, he was not interested and said it's a third-party site, so it's not our responsibility! He offered to pass our comments on to management, I'm not holding my breath! The standard rooms are very small, fortunately we only booked for one night. The mattress is very thin and hard, like sleeping (or not) on the floor. There are some positives, rooms was clean and has plenty of plug points, and thankfully the WiFi is good, as phone service is not. This is not the fault of the hotel. So, would stay here again, absolutely NOT.

The food was delicious, we enjoyed it very much.
