The best restaurants serving Default food in St Peter and the Waterfront Plymouth South West

Lots of recent changes in Mayflower Street, most recently the opening of Oishi Sushi up here at the eastern end.

Hands down the best Chinese I’ve been to. The salt and pepper spare ribs are amazing as well as the chicken special fried rice. If I could rate it higher I really would 10/10

Don’t bother ordering online from these cowboys. Twice orders accepted then turns out they’re closed! A previous time i ordered and food was cold.

You've lost a regular customer! Mistake after mistake. Order always wrong in one way or another. Poor management when your not willing to rectify your mistake. AVOID BEST KEBAB IF YOU WANT WHAT YOU ACTUALLY ORDER , DONT COME HERE!!!!

Mainly here for drinks, usually daily, 4-7pm, over from Spain for 3 months and often use it as my office! My usual server is Kieren, top bar, what a pleasant young nice guy, always friendly and smiling. Knows my order, bottle of Malbec then a glass of Shiraz, Very hard working lad, in fact the other staff good too, but he does stand out. We have eaten here most weeks once, usually the steak with my husband. Steaks perfectly cooked, well done kitchen, and good value for money. If you want top notch go to Carter and Miller and pay £50 each a meal. I’m surprised t the 1 stars. Unbelievable.

Dirty unit, would not honour what was on the KFC App, said they didn't have to. Managr called Neil seemed as though he couldn't be bothered, and looked scruffy, really unprofessional.

I asked for a hot chocolate but it took almost 15 mins to actually receive it ! There was at least 8 staff who I could see out front ! So I'm sure 1 of them could of served me !!When 1 young girl had finished chatting to another member of staff & had seen to ppl who came after me,she eventually came over to say that they only had 1 hot chocolate machine working,but still I got nothing!!! At least another 5 mins went by till the lad who originally served me got the said drink & apologised for delay .Seeing how many staff was there waiting all that time was extremely poor. I will think twice about going there again ,also it is really overpriced !!! I'll probably go to M & S !!!

Have always gone to subway since 2017 after college - still go when spending the weekend with my partner, from the reviews don’t order online, great service when ordering in person never had an issue

Was in Southside Street but we have now discovered what we believe to be the same business on Commercial Wharf overlooking the Cattewater in the same row of snack bars and takeaway food places.

Ordered three pizzas for delivery, but pre-ordered earlier on in the day with our chosen delivery time for 7pm. 2/3 ordered pizzas came with the wrong toppings - no jalapeños, but instead red and green sweet peppers. Someone obviously doesn’t know the difference…which is extremely worrying. Called the store three times upon delivery, no answer. Emailed customer services to be told I didn’t try hard enough to contact the store and that there is nothing I can do as I did not return the pizzas as they were delivered. After three tries of calling and emailing customer service you’d think I’d have done enough to try and rectify THEIR mistake. Not sure if they expect you to walk 3 miles with your wrong pizzas to get them changed to the right order? But this company is beyond belief. Definitely the last time we will be ordering from them.

Ordered via deliveroo as stated delivery would be 03:00 after ordering at 02:25 order arrived over an hour later! Must have been last order as when order was delivered stated closed on deliveroo! More importantly food was disgusting! Now know to stick with my regular kebab shop, dillan kebab
