The best restaurants serving Default food in Topsham Exeter South West

We had lunch here today, in the garden. We chose the sweet potato burger (with a yummy brown roll and a delicious sriracha mayonnaise) and the Buddha box (brown rice, falafel, hummus, veg) and thought both were excellent for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike - tasty and healthy and not expensive. I don’t know when I was last so impressed with a meal in a cafe! Service with a smile, too.

When always pop in here for a coffee and hot chocolate when we visit Topsham cute tea shop full of plants and gifts so nice.

Took lunch with my 4 year old grandson and wife on the 21/5/ in Exeter. The first impression were very “chic” venue as we hoped. The service was rather Pedestrian although ok. We ordered just one Pizza, and hot drinks, as we had planned our main evening meal already. The pro firstly: The pizza was pipping hot, and flavours were absolutely delicious! In fact, the best we’ve tasted since our New York trip in 2019 eating out in one of their finest Pizzeria’s! Cons: We were not give a sensible choice of seating with our grandchild. We were seated on bar high stools, looking out the window line abreast? We subsequently became aware of ample table seating downstairs after starting our meal. Only one tabled was occupied at the time. The Pizza was served on a platter, but no cutlery offered considering we were sharing? No serviettes were provided. No child plate offered? We had to request these items unnecessarily.... I also expected of any good Restaurant to be asked “ how we were finding our meal” as a common courtesy.  In hindsight not the place to take children I feel, but as an adult venue it’s ticks all the boxes. The Waitress clearly needed to spent more time being astute when dealing with customers, rather than socialising with bar staff..... A very nice place mildly spoilt, by disappointing customer service.

We had a family afternoon tea in a private room here. The food was exquisite and the staff/service excellent.

Exceptional pizzas with quality ingredients, friendly service, and a cozy, fun vibe. Highly recommend the Pepperoni and Nduja – absolutely delicious! 🍕🌟

The Cinnamon buns are incredible. It all tastes homemade and fresh. Still warm from being in the oven. It’s a real treat to get takeaway pastries here.

Great historic pub where nothing has changed over the years. It's like walking back in time. Has so much character. It's not overally big inside but there is seating outside too. Good selection of ales and other drinks, the menu is very simple but the food was tasty. Best toastie I've had in a long time.

What can I say used to love this place but whst has changed seemingly more a creche for kids than a restaurant (suppose they need to save on wages), food was ok nothing to write home about but if I wanted to spend my time with loud and brash kids I would of eaten at my local, heard they are closing and re opening as something new, maybe the new place will be run by adults for adults

Visited for Valentine's nice to have choices on the menu and it not be a set menu like many other establishments. Service was really good, loved the food, scallops, chicken main was really good. Really enjoyable evening.

I visited this restaurant for the first time after new management and i was not expecting this nice service and quality food You guys are awesome :)

This place is well worth a visit if you love pizza. Plenty of options and really well made delicious pizza. Venue is nice, if not a little rustic, & the staff are great. Aldo well priced do you should not be disappointed. Give it a go!

My wife and I visited on the 14th April our 35th wedding anniversary ! We had been before but probably some 7 years ago . What can we say . it was truly amazing . We had a table near the bar, so could see the comings and goings which we love . ( the locals and the visitors some from Switzerland who were sat on the table next to ours ) We shared a chicken with onion dip started on a platter, then I went for the salmon and mashed potatoes with a lovely sauce ( this was really a glorified salmon pie but with massive salmon chunks ) it was really delicious . My wife had the steak and tomatoe pie . We both had oodles of lovely vegetables including red cabbage . It was all piping hot and so fresh and well cooked. We ate the lot ! Then we had a shared desert which was a vanilla moose type thing bit like cheese cake on a sponge base . My description does not give it the credit it deserves . Oh my god it was amazing and I really wanted to order another one but my waist line had to curb and put an end to this lust for more !! We will not leave it so long next time , well done to the Chief and all the staff for making our anniversary a truly rememberable occasion All the best Glenn & Della .

Will definitely be back. The roast was amazing and lemon meringue was delicious. Had a lovely time and staff were welcoming and friendly. Look forward to another visit.

Best Indian around by miles. Food is so well cooked and tasty and not at all greasy. Book early to make sure you get in. They also do takeaway if you prefer. Staff are excellent

The food in this venue was amazing, the quality and flavour was exceptional. I also stopped the night as well it was warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff could not do enough for me. I had three meals the Ox Cheek (Superb), My colleague had the cod lion( which I had food envy over). The second night I had the Tuna Niçoise which was the best I have ever tasted. In the morning I ask if I could have Fruit and Yogurt with piece of toast when it arrived it surpassed my expectation it arrived with beautiful thick Greek yogurt, toasted Granola, Fresh Figs, Blackberries and Raspberries. So thank you to all at the Blue Ball for making my stay exceptional.
