Lovely setting and a reasonable priced lunch. The food is delicious, all four of us loved each course.

Had afternoon tea at 3pm Sunday in same room as last lunchers. Staff didn't know who to concentrate on.

I had the afternoon tea with my mum, sister and niece. Really lovely selection with unlimited tea or coffee.

The food was nice but surprisingly the lunch menu was served at 7 pm, so clearly dinner time which later led to confusion with the bill as prices were apparently different. The staff were kind and offered to resolve the problem but we remained confused why the more extensive dinner menu (available on/line) wasn’t served. The restaurant was also all but empty at 7 pm on a Friday night which didn’t help the atmosphere. I have had lunch there before which was a more memorable experience and perhaps this being a golf club lunch is a better time to visit the restaurant. The staff were lovely I must emphasised

The steak baguettes baguette bread was very starchy, it wasn't good quality. The steak and chips were nice. Service is a little bit lazy.

Excellent food, service and surroundings. Three of us had lunch followed by coffee on the terrace. Perfect day!

I had a spa treatment there, quite while a go. I enjoyed every bit of it. The lady who was doing for me was very informative, and I felt amazing after the treatment. There is a possibility to save up some money if you pay for a few treatments in advance. Additionally, you are given a card , which after 5 visits gives you half an hour of massage of your choice. I think it's a great way to encourage customers to come back, considering that they have a great deal of different treatments.

We arrived a little early. The staff looked after us, the food was good and we had a great time.I recommend the Sunday lunch.

Was a lovely place to sit and eat. Was able to watch our son out on the last green finishing his competition.

Delicious jacket potato with Bolognese and side salad. I had two decaf flat whites which were wonderful. The day was bright and dry so we sat outside in the warmth. Service was speedy and attentive. Staff came to check on us and ensure everything was ok. My friend had avocado on toast and that too was delicious. It was a very good visit and the views were beautiful.

Great setting. Staff were friendly and helpful. I thought the food quality was good, but, in my opinion it was a bit overpriced for the quantity serviced

Came here for afternoon tea with the girls. Food was lovely, service was wonderful. We had a fizz afternoon tea, vegan afternoon tea and a regular one. All were very nice and surprisingly filling. Light and airy decor added to a relaxing afternoon.

As part of our luxury spa day we had a meal included at Wear Park Restaurant. As always it was absolutely beautiful. We have never had a bad meal here. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The staff are always friendly and very accommodating, my wife has a serious nut allergy so has to ask if menu items have any nuts in them. They will always offer to prepare the menu item without the nuts if she wants to have that. We will definitely go back, again and again.

Heard good things about afternoon tea, so booked for Christmas Eve with my family for my birthday, my wife had emailed ahead and said that we booked afternoon tea for 2, but would be bringing children, one which would be eating off the children’s menu. When we arrived the table was set for 2 even though they replied to the email. We had to ask for a children’s menu. Before we ordered we asked what the sandwiches were on the afternoon tea, lady was very unhelpful and didn’t really know what we could change one of the sandwiches we didn’t like too, then when it come out it wasn’t even the sandwiches she said it was! We had to ask for our tea to go with our afternoon tea!! We had 2 other drinks when arrived and wasn’t once asked if we wanted another drink. The whole service wasn’t good at all, upon telling the lady about our experience, she just said I’ll pass that on, no apology. I wouldn’t recommend any one to go here if they wanted good customer service and to enjoy their birthday lunch.

We turned up on a rainy day hoping they would have a table free for an afternoon tea. The staff there were lovely, very welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious!!

Spa day here was absolutely fantastic. Staff could not fault them

Lovely food, and great service. Due to wooden flooring the restaurant is very noisy so extremely difficult for people with hearing issues. Both waitresses knew not to lean over customers when serving food but the male waiter did not.

A nice Broccoli and Stilton soup for lunch. Friendly service

I had lunch here, very patient and pleasant service.My dish was very tasty much bigger than I expected so had to leave some.Tables clean and being disinfected as soon as someone left.Good menu with plenty of choice.Waitress service,quick and attentive.

Had a wonderful time at Wear Park Restaurant. We looked around Exeter for Afternoon Tea and this looked promising. Plenty of parking when we arrived. The staff were very friendly on arrival and throughout the visit making us feel very welcome. We opted for Fizz Afternoon Tea for 2 people @ £32. You have the choice of Prosecco or Gin & Tonic. Each plate on the tower was delicious. Sandwiches, Scones with cream & jam (in that order please here in Devon) ending with the selection of cakes. On top of the fizz you’ll also get a choice of tea or coffee to finish off your treats. I was surprised how full I was when we finished. We would definitely recommend a visit and will be making a repeat trip in the future. Many thanks to the wonder staff.

I have not been for some time to the sports bar .I used to come regularly before the virus . I was very disappointed with the food , the service was good .

Beautiful food! The staff are pretty amazing too. An ideal 19th hole. Anyone for a round of golf. Don't forget to take two pairs of trousers, just in case you get a hole-in-one.

Had midweek lunch which was very good and the prices were competitive.Service was very good as were the surroundings. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Whoops! Mashed the phone screen and unintentionally sent a 3-star rating. Upping to 4 in recognition of the hard work of the staff, who are all making the best of a difficult situation in their efforts to provide a comfortable and safe space for people to meet and enjoy food & drink. We received service with a smile and enjoyed the Salcombe IPA! It was a damp and dreary evening and we felt the cold a bit, seated at the edge of the marquee. Bring on some warmer weather!

Outdoor swim tonight, brilliant

We had high tea for two and it was fabulous! We thought the portion sizes for 2 people where quite small but where sufficient enough with copious amounts of hot tea! Staff where lovely and helpful. More than happy to fetch more cream for us. Thank you

First class Sunday lunch professionally served. Great background live music. We could only manage 2 courses. Good value for money.

Not a great choice but food not bad .

My family has a big dinner here every Christmas and once or twice elsewhere in the year. In terms of food, it's not a place I'd rave about but obviously the quality is good enough that we always return. Staff are friendly but can find themselves overwhelmed if they're dealing with multiple tables at once. Very, very nice grounds. Probably a good place for afternoon tea.

Yeah great staff...and a good evening.

Had a lovely lunch there which was delicious. The atmosphere was beautiful and the staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Definitely be going back there maybe for a cream tea next
