The best restaurants serving Default food in Seaton East Devon South West

My friend and i have dinners on Sundays when i visit Seaton. Choise of two roasts. Can be Beef, Chicken, Pork and Lamb. Excellent value for money. Gets very busy so would suggest arriving from 12pm and not later.

Lovely restaurant, the staff are welcoming and attentive, food is great and great value. Will be back again soon

Our first visit to Ragini, and it won't be long before we return! A lovely welcome by the staff, all of whom were polite, friendly, efficient, and professional. The menu was very good and I opted for a vegetarian dish, vegetable aha! It was delicious and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The atmosphere in the dining room was lovely. The commendations given to Ragini over the years, are richly deserved.

Popped in for a couple of drinks on the front in the sun. Dog friendly. It was Easter Sunday and quite busy. Gent behind the bar chatty and friendly, welcoming. Worth a visit if just to people watch

Great food, fantastic fish, chips were not greasy and well cooked. This cook knows how to look after his oil. No burnt oil smell or flavour. Best fish and chips I've had in a while. Friendly staff too. Well worth a visit.

May 2025 My wife (Karen) and I (Andy) visited Taste of Thai at the very beginning of May, and promised Steve and Kee a positive review - my apologies or the delay writing this. My wife ordered the vegetable Thai red curry and I ordered king prawn panang with crab rice - it was absolutely amazing! From the second we entered Taste of Thai, Steve and Kee's son (sorry - I can't remember your name :-( ) was fantastic - really polite and helpful and he ensured the evening went really well. Despite it being a small restaurant (22 covers), there was no rush to get us "in and out" so that they could get more people through the door. The timings between ordering and getting starters/mains was really good, allowing us to chill, relax and enjoy a bottle of wine (also, very good value!). I promised a good review - it is very, very well deserved - and if ever we return to Seaton, we will definitely return.

Went last night for the karaoke and all was ok till go my pint it tasted funny and so I nicely told staff and was told basically nothing wrong with it, was offered another pint but why would I want?? The bar lady was defensive and to point rude. I will not be going back.

Found this little gem yesterday, beautiful carrot cake. Returned this morning, asked for very hot coffee (which usually places never seem to manage). I got fabulous hot coffee and nice chunky toast not thin stuff. Nice friendly staff. This will be regular place for my weeks stay.

Absolutely top marks, I have had Chinese food all over the Country and by far Yeungs is the best! Exceptionally clean, wonderful food and lovely staff. Can't fault it. Highly recommended

Had a great stay at this hotel in Seaton. The staff were all very helpful, especially Dean, who was on duty in the morning when we went down for breakfast. He couldn't have been more helpful.

Fabulous find. Great coffee and amazing breakfasts. The staff were lovely and very friendly despite being run off their feet. Dog friendly too. The staff even give out dog biscuits! Will be back.

Delicious fresh fish and chips at a very reasonable price. Jolly chef and friendly staff. Would recommend stopping here for lunch by the sea!

Good quality fish, freshly cooked to order but prices bordering on extortionate £11 for a fish, £5.75 for a £1 pukka pie over 50% more than I pay back home

Lovely place to go and nice cappucino.So lovely that you have your food/drinks without dogs barking or bothering you as the dogs are in the outside porch area. Sea front just across the road although not visible from the cafe. Comfy lounge and chairs and an altogether pleasant visit.Not overepriced.
