Really nice food. I got a saveloy, cheesy chips, and curry sauce. It was really busy! Decor could do with a little update and probably could do with hiding all the stock lying around.

Both cod and chips were of poor quality. I have had before and was quite good but this time bad . Young lady was doing all the work but the gentleman did not know what he was doing.

Don’t believe the bad reviews, Seaton Fish bar has always given us very enjoyable fish and chips. You may need to queue and they are not the chattiest bunch but the food is always fresh and tasty.

Called at Seaton Fish Bar tonight 28th Feb after travelling from Cardiff for a few days break. Gotta admit we ordered four fish n chips and it was delicious piping hot with wonderful white fish and perfect consistency of the batter, perfectly cooked. The chips were not at all greasy and lovely texture and complemented the fish perfectly. If you are in the area, you owe to yourself to try this wonderful fish n chip shop. Paul PRJPhotography

Stopped off for fish and chips en route for home after a holiday in Devon. Really good food , freshly cooked !! We were able to enjoy our meal basking in the sun by the sea. Thank you from us all .🧓🧓🧓🧓

We had fish and chips x2 and a sausage a chips .Fish and sausage ok .However we have never had chips like these .They had obviously been hanging around all evening, then fried again and again then left and fried again .Totally inedible,and threw them away ..How can you get chips so wrong from a chippy ????

Really nice fish and chips. Bit of a wait as it was cooked to order but we'll worth waiting for. The chips were some of the best I've had in a long time and the fish was just as tasty. We walked down to the front and ate sat by the sea which always adds to the appeal of fish and chips.

Had a variety of orders tonight and was very pleased at the service received from the staff,very helpful and curteous, order delivered quickly,will recommend to everyone I know.

Fantastic fish and chips, Fish fresh, batter nice and crispy, chips top draw, all the food we had was cooked to perfection, I heard the chap behind the counter tell a customer he had worked in this takaway for 30 years, the taste of this food definitely proved someone with many years of experience had cooked it, best fish and chips around, can't wait to return to Seaton for more fish and chips from this 5 star takaway.

Called in on Tuesday around 5.10 Two large fish and one chips. The fish would have been fine. Unfortunately, the batter tasted like it had been dipped in engine oil. Total waste of £22.50

Very disappointed at the quality of the fish & chips. The food was fryed while we waited, and we assumed fresh BUT when we unwrapped the food it looked like it had been refryed, the chips were overly crunchy & dark in appearance & tasted oily. There was more batter than fish. Overall our experience was poor especially for the cost of £11 per portion X 4 plus peas & gravy! We will not be returning during our stay.

Really outstanding fish and chips, only reason for 4 star instead of 5 was the wait. Almost half an hour but it was definitely worth the wait.

This is a extremely expensive fish and chip bar. Visited to buy some food for my Grandchildren. 4 small sausage and chips 1 Jumbo Sausage and chips 1( asked for small ) charged for medium cod and chips Over £50

Portion size seems to shrink week by week, not exactly cheap either, young staff with no idea what there doing even when you order at both ends!! Such a shame to see a great Chippy go down hill.

£20 for: a large chips (£4.50) which actually were quite small for the money, large cod (barely larger than the standard size in the hot box at £9!!!), scampi 9 peices. Felt a bit ripped off to be honest. Tasted ok, batter on the fish wasn't too thick. Main gripe is the portion size Vs cost... Portion is way too small. Cost of living, inflation, minimum wage rises, I get it. It hits everyone. But for £4.50 I can buy 3 bags of Marris pipers for example.

Very nice crispy batter on fish with proper chips. Batter unlike the other takeaway in town is not full of oil and is very light, fish was delicious

The Best Fish n Chips I’ve had in years. The staffs were very friendly in taking multiple orders and decent pricing as well. I’ve visited Seaton frequently and everytime I come here, I’ll get large Cod, Haddock and Chips with the gravy. I would suggest to get these Fish n Chips and have the brunch at the beach.

Incredible fish and chips, generous portions and the fish was sweet to taste and the batter not thick...which was great, just a little greasy. The chips were crispy and the centres were soft, The dog loved the Saveloy. Great value for money too. No cue this time but that was the day of the week as it was a Thursday., early season as well. The locals have a great tasty F&C with also a great menu covering all tastes and needs.

Called in as we were in Seaton for the day and having read good reviews. We were not disappointed. We had two Scampi and chips and they were delicious. Both were freshly cooked and we sat on the front to eat them. Friendly staff too.
