The best restaurants serving Default food in College Cheltenham South West

Had a lovely evening here! Great date night atmosphere and really kind staff. Everything on the menu looked amazing so we got overexcited in our ordering - the lady even had to warn us we were ordering too much! Good size potions so she was right! good value and absolutely delicious! Would definitely come back!

Amazing experience, super friendly and knowledgeable about the many wines we ordered. Food was delicious! Will definitely be returning.

Siempre entra aquí para almorzar. Fabulosa selección de ensaladas, panes y bollos caseros preciosos. Las quiches caseras son deliciosas. Una pequeña caja de ensalada a los 3 es lo suficientemente fácil para que 2 la compartan con el quiche. Personal amigable. Siempre hay un flujo constante de clientes. Cheltenham tiene mucha suerte de tener este lugar.

The cafe/restaurant has a lovely menu, very nice staff and nice decor/chairs/environment. We ordered a coronation chicken sandwich and two drinks - lemon presse and fresh orange juice. The sandwich was actually a roll and the contents contained very little chicken. The menu does mention chutney and mayonnaise but chicken breast is the first ingredient mentioned. The filling was more like a pickle with tiny dots of chicken. And it was quite definitely not a sandwich.The lemon presse was a lemon juice with water on the side which would have been ok but it was £3.50 from memory. My orange juice was lovely. So very mixed and quite expensive for what it was - there's a difference between an £8 or £9 sandwich and roll. I accept cafes need to make a profit, but customers also need reasonable value for money and to be presented with something resembling what they ordered.

Wonderful dining experience with exceptional service!

Just happened to discover this restaurant on bath road with my friend, would absolutely recommend Korma lamb curry, one of the best curries I have ever tried!

After perusing the menu, we decided upon the "beige" meze platter to share, it dud not disappoint! Each item was presented well and had a lot of flavour too. A perfect balance of meat and vegetable based tasty bites. Highly recommended!

From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and attentive, with staff going above and beyond to accommodate preferences. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish bursting with rich flavors and perfectly balanced spices. I particularly appreciated how the menu was thoughtfully curated, though I personally enjoy dishes with bones, which weren’t available. That said, the quality and taste more than made up for it! The ambiance was inviting, and the overall experience was fantastic. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, India Lounge is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

Been hunting for the best pathia for years. Iv just had it extra green chillies as requested made it the best Iv had. Won’t be going anywhere else again. Had tough chicken and watery curries from 5 other curry houses in Chelt but this was the best! Well deserved 5 stars

Went for the bottomless cheese and wine yesterday, it was fantastic. The food was delicious, particularly the goat's cheese and chilli jam. My glass was never empty and Jonathan and Maria provided excellent service. We will definitely be back.
