Gran café, maravillosa bienvenida! Acabo de descubrir recientemente The Daily Bean, ¡y qué descubrimiento!

Every time I’ve been to the Daily Bean, it’s been an enjoyable, relaxed environment. I visit most weekends with my 11 month old daughter and sometimes our little dog too. The staff are always very friendly and polite, nothing is too much trouble. I genuinely feel welcomed every time I walk in. Their offering of cakes and croissants are delicious and their espresso is just the right mix of bitter and zing, perfect! This is now my go to coffee stop every Saturday morning, sometimes both Saturday and Sunday as it’s just such a lovely experience. My daughter is relaxed and calm in the Daily Bean, and enjoys watching the world go by through the front windows and the fuss she receives from the team. The high chairs are of good quality and always clean and there are plenty of toys. How the Daily Bean doesn’t have a suite of full 5 star reviews is beyond me. I’ll continue to frequent it as my daughter grows older, one day able to have a coffee of her own, but caffeine is a little way off yet.

It has been a little while since we have been here and it remains excellent. The staff and owners are such lovely people who make you very welcome. The coffee and cakes are lovely. You can also get cook frozen meals at the venue and they are very good.

We have been using the Cook Cheltenham outlet for years and there us absolutely no doubt that their foods are delicious. Their Lasanga is addictive because it is so tasty. Serve it just as it comes and everyone says 'wow'. As with the rest of their products. Incredibly convenient and reasonably priced. But their coffee shop needs a bit of an upgrade. The back room is muddled and a bit scruffy. The staff are lovely but the menu offerings are limited. Today I had the most dreadful 'doorstep Gammon and Coldslaw sandwich' where the cheap chewy tasteless bread didn't live up to the filling. Coffee is good and It's a popular venue due to its position but it could be so much more appealing.

This little coffee shop with upmarket frozen food Cook attached is a delightful little community hub. It always seems to be buzzing with good coffee, lattes, toasted tea cakes, scones, bagels and people grazing the free samples from the frozen food range.

We often call here for coffee and it is first class especially a flat white. The serve lovely granary bread toast which is thick cut with a generous supply of butter and good quality marmalade in a glass container which is so much nicer than the nasty little plastic containers of cheap marmalade proved by many establishments. The staff are always polite and helpful. A very good coffee stop.

MORE AT TripAdvisor

'The Daily Bean' is the café within *'COOK Cheltenham' in the Bath Road shopping area. Tables and chairs can be found outside facing the busy thoroughfare and in the main body of the shop. At the back is a quaint room seating 20 at separate tables. The back room is comfy with a few leather chairs in the corner often occupied by ladies-that-lunch. On the walls framed front pages of newspapers give an older world feel for those who like to be reminded of VE-Day, Crowning of Elizabeth II and Elvis as Peace. The gentle harmonic strains of The Carpenters Hits rest easy on the ear. There is a buggy park, toilet and small selection of children's toys and games. The daily papers can be borrowed from a shelf to the side of the room. A jug of water and glasses is always available. As well as the usual café fare to eat-in there is a take-out service. My usual is coffee and gluten free brownie for £5.05 (Aug. 2015). The coffee comes from Soho Coffee Co. The staff are always cheerful and helpful. Oh yes, the "sporting hero". To my surprise, the 1966 England World Cup hero Sir Geoff Hurst was meeting friends at The Daily Bean. They don't make them like that any more. * 'COOK Cheltenham' is a franchised food retail outlet originally founded in 1997. It specialises in home made food for the freezer. COOK use the same ingredients and techniques that you would find at home, so, everything looks and tastes homemade. I have bought many dishes for parties from COOK. They are quite expensive but very good. I hope these notes help.

Typically excellent Ivy food and service. We had the bombe dessert which was theatrical, impressive and delicious. Beautiful building. Not masses of space (table of 5).

We just popped up for cocktails. The service was superb throughout. The cocktails are fabulous (expensive, but good), and the view is lovely.
