Franco Manca Cheltenham in Cheltenham

We came for a quick coffee while waiting for a lift, and were made very welcome and seated immediately. The coffee was very good - strong and full bodied - and the service was excellent and very friendly. The menu looked great, and we will definitely come again for a meal.

Ordered a takeaway from here via Uber Eats, Francos Feast for 2, paid £35.00 missing pizza and drinks. Phoned the restaurant and they took no blame and was told a manager would contact me in the morning but 2 days later no email.. Do NOT order any takeaways from this company!

Absolutely incredible and delicious pizza! We went as three adults and a one-year-old, they even made the children's pizza in the shape of a heart. It was excellent service, too! Thank you! Highly recommend.

Franco Manca's sourdough pizza is good as always, but what made the visit special was Kyle. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly, he was fun. As someone who works in hospitality I really do appreciate the service!

We went to have pizza here and it tasted delicious, the only thing I didn't really like is the sourdough pizza dough they use. It doesn't get as crunchy as regular dough. Other than that it was very good, our waitress was super friendly and nice!!

Food was delicious, and service was tiptop! Matt was really attentive and friendly and made sure I had a great time 🙏 Thank you!

Besides the excellent and interesting cuisine, Franco Manca stands out to me for fantastic and warm service, especially from Dani at our last visit!

Kyle was amazing, did a backflip on entry and even paid our bill, what a waiter.

Kyle is terrific, very hospitable and even better at backflips.

We had a wonderful dinner here. We were in a rush to catch a train and needed to have dinner with three teens in half an hour. Our waiter, Kyle, was amazing ! He brought us our delicious pizzas at record speed and with a friendly welcoming attitude. I think he has a lot of potential to grow into higher positions of responsibility in a short time. We look forward to our next visit !

The pizza is great, but their “Kids Eat Free” offer (Monday-Thursday) is misleading. Their website clearly states that kids get a free pizza with an adult main meal, including at the Cheltenham branch. Yet, every time I visit, they try to charge me for my child’s pizza. This isn’t just frustrating—it’s false advertising.

Lovely service from Dani: she took care of me and my order. It was served rapidly and with a huge smile. She also made me aware of the terrace upstairs for a better view of the road, perfect for springtime and summer. I've been to many Franco Manca's, but this one stands out for its amazing staff. Would recommend coming here and I will definitely become a regular. If I may also give one advice to management, it's to add a sign at the entrance mentioning the terrace upstairs: I was completely oblivious to it. I'm sure more customers would love to have their pizza here in the upcoming months.

We dined in today. Hadn't in a long time, but very pleased to see (and taste) that the quality and service is still great. I had a #8 pizza and a no label pint. The pizza was delicious, thoroughly recommend it.

Rubbish, burnt my pizza and the waitress just shrugged at me and said that’s how it’s meant to be? I’ve had many Neapolitan pizzas before and I know when a pizza is burnt - it tasted bitter and unpleasant.

Brilliant meal for a birthday celebration for 9 people including a child! Luca the general manager personally provided first class service and food ensuring we had the best of times! Highly recommended! We will definitely return!

Good service with staff still friendly and helpful even when it’s very busy. Pizza options are good and we didn’t feel rushed at any point. Would recommend if catching up with friends, family or out for a quick break.

I'm always impressed with Franco Manca as a chain, it's easily my favourite pizza, I have yet to try better anywhere. We came here on a busy Saturday evening and I was very impressed. They had three hard working chefs who made the food very quickly and the restaurant staff were polite and friendly. I really can't moan, I mean we ordered our starters at an extremely busy time, and one of the chefs took the time to bring it to our table, which was a nice gesture given that they were worked off their feet. The food itself was absolutely brilliant as always, and we were lucky enough to secure the £5 pizza deal in January, so what I already to be considered a reasonably priced pizza was even more cheap. I will continue to speak highly about Franco Manca, no matter which restaurant you attend.

First time dining at Franco Manca so was excited to try out their dining experience. To start with the positives the team were lovely and attentive, the restaurant was clean and presentable, the quality of produce was excellent plus it was affordable. I selected No.9 Italian smoked beef Pizza and a house-made lemonade. The pizza toppings were delicious, the beef had a strong smoky flavour and the other ingredients were very tasty. However for a sourdough pizza the base was very dense and doughy, but with the appearance of a traditional sourdough. If this is what you’re looking for you’ll find it here. However I came in with the expectation it would be this light crispy traditional sourdough. The lemonade was simple, citrusy and refreshing, however it could be elevated with some herb elements. The loyalty system/app needs some improvement to iron out the bugs. Got it working but it was tedious. Overall good experience and value. Would probably give the sides and salads a go next time.

The pizza was absolutely delicious but unfortunately we were sat at our table for about 30minutes before we even got asked if we wanted a drink? The restaurant was not even busy with many vacant tables so not sure what happened there? The Women who did eventually serve us was extremely warm & welcoming & friendly. Due to the long wait before getting served meant we had to rush our food & could not have desert as we had to be at the cinema afterwards which was a shame & we were looking forward to trying the Tiramisu. Would try again as pizza was incredible but would be put off if the service was the same as before.

We had a very disappointing experience. The pizzas were very sloppy, wet & cold. It was not a crispy base. Because of this, the flavour was non exsistant. I don't usually like complaining, but It felt like I was eating a roti, not a pizza! The white wine was also delivered in a water glass for some reason... We thought it was the apple juice at first, the juice didn't arrive until after the meal. No extra mozzarella was given to us even after asking the waiter. To make it worse, the olive oils were placed on our table after we finished. This was a very different experience compared to different Franco Manca's.. I could've eaten at home for a better experience.. will not return.

The Cheltenham branch is a lovely place with a great vibe and the staff are all lovely too- from the waitresses/waiters to the chefs! Would absolutely recommend!

Our pizza cravings satisfied! Truly authentic Italian pizza, we ordered two and they were both really good and unique. We sat by the pizza station and our toddler was able to see the process. We will be back!

Pizza were lovely. Great watching, friendly chef. Service was poor, no eye contact, or check if wanted any other course. Or to settle bill. Met at door quite rudely as did not book, and restaurant had 4 out of the 7 front tables free For whole time we were in there. Back section of restaurant closed off on a Saturday. Unsure if it's just catering for take outs!

We where really looking forward to our pizzas at Franco manca. Unfortunately it did not meet our expectations. The music was very loud meaning people have to raise their voices to compensate creating a loud and jarring atmosphere. Having Asperger's I found it quite triggering. And couldn't relax. The food took a while to come we where giving out sauces a good 15 minutes before our starters came out. It does seem that delivery is given priority meaning the cooking team is constantly rushing to get food out and attention to detail is the missed. The pizzas unfortunately where soggy and the garnish in both the drinks and on top of the pizzas where wilted and had dark spots. We decided not to say anything as we where both just really hungry and wanted to eat something. The staff where attentive and friendly so shout out to them.

This place has always been great. Brilliant staff, great pizza, super friendly. We’ve been going since it opened. Last night we left hungry after waiting 45 minutes for food. Apparently Deliveroo orders are prioritised over customers seated in the restaurant. We saw the same Deliveroo guy come and go three times whilst waiting. Asked for our food a few times, kept being told it would be 10-15 minutes, but the food never came. In the end, the manager tried to get the pizza cooks to just make our food, and they started shouting at her. We just left, they didn’t even notice.

Pleasantly surprised by Franco Manca. Very tasty pizza! Staff managed to accommodate a larger group than the original booking which was good.

The staff could not have done more for us. It was my son's eleventh birthday and I was told I could bring a cake for him. I thought it would be a question of simply handing out slices on napkins but to my surprise, the staff were ready and on hand to put candles on it, cut and serve it and sing happy birthday. They made a lovely evening even more special and I'm very grateful.

Good food. £30 for two pizzas and garlic bread delivered in 20 mins. Sourdough which is a great touch. Meat toppings were a little shy but all in all decent

Best pizza in Cheltenham, always have good and interesting specials and the pizza is always top notch and quick. I don't usually enjoy chains but this place is much better than other pizza places near by.

The food was super good, pizza tasted like it was from Italy, thin and made well. I really recommend the garlic oil on the table as it was nice to have with the crust. Our waitress was an absolute gem, and the music playing was so good by boyfriend had to shazam it. Me and my boyfriend went there for dinner, were really pleased.

The food was very disappointing and expensive for what it was. The side salad was limp and drenched in salad dressing. The pizzas were undercooked and the toppings on the meagre side. The venue was noisy and overlit. No ambience. Will not return.

Such a shame, the attitude and general un welcoming manner of the waitress really put a damper on the whole experience. The middle aged dark haired lady was short and snappy with each encounter. Really like the place but probably won't return with such poor customer service. I guess its OK to have a bad day and take it out on your customers.

Ordered a take away and although more expensive than others the experience was worth it. The four different pizzas we ordered were cooked to perfection. They offered vegan options and the ability to swap out ingredients as well as adding all the extras you could possibly want. The pizzas were ready on time when we went to pick up and were hot when we got them home. Yes we will be ordering again

Called in here after a recent meal at Zizi's in Cheltenham and this was a million times better. Great pizzas and better service. Value for money compared to Pizza Express and Zizi's is fantastic. Great location too.

Menu is different to most other pizza providers and reviews are good, so I thought I'd try Franco for the first time as a delivery as football was on. Pizza arrived via Just Eat at the time advised. Pizza was very thin and not topped up to the edges. It was supposedly cut, but wasn't done properly so it tore. Very hard to handle. Tasty but absolutely STONE COLD. Not even warm. Perhaps the thin crust is the cause? I don't think I'd order delivery again. I will possibly give the eat-in a go but, unfortunately, a bit disappointed. Sorry.

Excellent pizza dough... the seasoning isn't up to par, however, with the tomato being too dry and the buffalo mozzarella not being the best. With a little effort... it would be the best

We went for lunch. The waiting staff were friendly, helpful and very prompt. We were able to watch as our food was prepared and it was fast! Very fast!! The pizzas were excellent and just the right size - not too big and not too small, however, the desserts were a little on the small side.
