Blown away by the food at this superb, quaint, cost littel Vietnamese restaurant. Their chilli king prawn starter was potentially the finest prawn dish I have ever eaten. The food was presented immaculately, was fresh, vibrant, and extremely delicious. Priced extremely reasonably. I will be back soon.

Very popular Italian cafe in a quiet square. Excellent coffee.

We had a lovely celebratory dinner here last Saturday. One of our party (who ordered Monkfish Tail) said it was too salty...either the sauce or the fish has been salted. The waitress simply sounded surprised, but no attempt to rectify the situation, despite half the meal was inedible. The others in our party enjoyed their meals. Very surprised at the lack of customer service this time. We have been to the same La Cantina for several years now, so a little shocked and surprised at the reaction of the waitress. She obviously didn't report it to the Manager or the Kitchen, so could have avoided a negative review.

What a lovely restaurant! Its a small but good place - their menu has a lot of variety too, plus a specials board. We had starts and mains, and the price was very good for two people. the menu was good for vegetarians too, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes too. Parking is outside and is free which is a bonus too! I would advise booking as it is a small place, but very worth it.

We were quite disappointed. Booked 7 course tasting menu with wine, and upgraded to beef for main so bill was not far off £300 for 2 people. We arrived at 8pm and by 9.45pm the waiter was trying to take my dessert before I had finished, then brought the bill before we had asked for it and while we still had wine to drink, then turned the music off making it very clearer we had to leave. Some of the food was good, but the main mediocre for the extra price, and service fine but generally quite unenthusiastic.

Perfecto ! Super craft beer, regional wine, authentic starters and cracking Pizzas. Service was great as was the atmosphere. Thank you. The zucchini was superb and the burrata complimented it brilliantly- my wife and I shared the Porchetta Pizza and were licking our lips. Bravo

I gave a glowing review 18 months ago and have been several times since. Unfortunately the acceptance of laptop use has killed any good feeling of a relaxing atmosphere although the quality of food and drink is ok . On a recent visit for coffee and cake 20 minutes before a 4pm closing time on a Saturday afternoon I was told, somewhat appruptly , that I could only have my drink in a paper cup as they would soon be closing! Needless to say I left and will not be returning.

This place has really gone downhill. Staff at the bar are young and inexperienced. They actually look miserable or unhappy whilst serving customers. The night we went (Saturday), we were told that there were no Stardust beers on due to a delivery issue….This meant we were reduced to a choice of basically one beer given we didn’t want to drink lager or stout, all were from the Marlow brewery. I can forgive the delivery issue, but they made no attempt to remove the out of stock beers from the menu online and inside the venue. This meant we had to listen to the awkward explanation every time someone came to the bar to order. Staff looked tired having to explain it. A DJ was setting up in the corner and we walked past later on to see loads of teenagers in there dancing to drum n bass. This is currently a confused business , with the name and decor conflicting with the reality. I would describe this as a chicken shop with a bar attached.

Fish soup and duck were delicious

Virtually everything brilliant. Exceedingly tasty main , a new experience of Indian food. Very imaginative and the atmosphere, service superb. The only niggle was the poppadoms - we always look forward to these as a super appetiser and previously they have been just that. Last night they came as not much more than crisps. Please can you go back to your original - you will then assume status as the best restaurant in Marlow and surroundings.

We moved to Marlow last June and this quickly became a favourite place of ours to grab a coffee, cake, bit of lunch etc etc! The service is excellent- always a smile and a friendly welcome. The quality of the food is excellent- delicious food and a wide selection to choose from.
