Great taproom and food from Ginger Wings were fantastic & tasty. (Could have been a bit hotter though). Only were stopping for one pint, saw the lovely food coming out and stayed. 👍

Great food from Ginger Wings. Thanks to Tom and Luka for their excellent and friendly service! Having read other reviews mainly excellent and a few poor. I must say the poor are similar in their criticism. I think people need to think this isn't The Ivy it a bar/fast food joint. You might have to wait for the excellent food but it's worth it. Only one criticism from me, they really should give a 10% discount to Gingers!! 😆

Jack's wings are top tier and the best craft beer in town.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this craft beer bar. It’s a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy exceptional food and a great selection of beers in a lively and comfortable setting.

Arrived at the bar 21.50 on a Saturday to be told last orders had been called. We were followed in by another couple too so that's 4 people's business lost. We had deliberately left this bar until last to work our way through some good beer. Such a disappointment. We have definitely been drinking here later than this.

Food was lovely but I got food poising and threw up 10 times and my family who had a bit are ill. Poor food quality. Would never eat again. Absolutely disgraceful

Unfortunately didn’t have great experience on my last two visits , very slow service (waited over an hour for a basic food order having been told there was a 30 min wait when we ordered). Bar service incredibly slow on both visits. Toilets hadn’t been cleaned all evening and were a mess. Wings when they arrived were delicious which is why we visited for the Ginger Wings but don’t think we will bother again as better places in marlow.

There are very few places serving craft beer in Marlow so this small bar has cornered the market. 10 beers on tap though when we went (Tuesday at 20.20, 4 beers were off). Older guy serving was brusque and on the next night, when they should have been open until 10.00, last orders were called at 21.20 after a group left and we felt uncomfortable / encouraged to leave as well. Beer quality was good.

This place is sick. Staff know their beer... and Ginger Wings on a Wednesday is epic. I am a return customer and never disappointed.

Poor attitude from staff spoils good food. To be greeted by make “sure you finish by 8pm” is not a welcome you want to hear when you enter a restaurant, particularly when it is not made clear you have the table for a limited time when booked. Need to improve how they welcome people into the restaurant. Arrogant and unnecessary.

Booked a table for ten arrived 20 minutes late to be told by a rude staff member we had an hr and half to eat then needed to leave. Having booked months in advance we were not told about the time limit. We were then told by the manager " we are busiest bar in Marlow we don't need your business" food was ok but not worth the hassle and rude staff

Fantastic little bar in Marlow with a good selection of craft beers and lots of other nice drinks. Mine was a delicious autumnal G&T! Great recommendations from the friendly bar staff. Raph in particular was really helpful and a good laugh! Brilliant bar, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Definitely worth popping in here if you're in town and fancy something a bit different to the bars on the high street.

Food is really great - I am not a chicken and chips type person but visited after much nagging from my other half and I am delighted that I did. I am totally converted and excited to try the new menu.,which isn’t just chicken and chips by the way . We were fortunate enough to have a young lady serving the food that was fabulous (red head ) . It was very busy but she just calmly floated in and out taking orders, serving and clearing away effortlessly. We have been before and that side of things was definitely not so seamless. I think the tap room side of drink service can be a bit all over the place depending on staff but if you expect that then anything else is a bonus - but you have to try the food!!

Ginger wings are by far the best wings i have ever tasted, Jack and leigh top boys, better than KFC inalwayd have the plain and even cold they are like a slice of heaven, I always recommend them to anyone that is looking for a bite to eat

We had booked a table for a few hours on a Thursday evening. We were soon sat down and ordering drinks, few issues with various beers that were on the board actually off, then the saga of ordering some wine, this turned out easier to ask what wine they had that was chilled as most of the fizz/white on the menu was not chilled. That said the staff were very pleasant, similar issue with the food of Verizon items not been available. What we ordered was amazing! If we were really picky…the salt and pepper chicken could do with a dip.

Excellent food (I didn’t know that great sauces and expert cooking could make chicken so exciting), lovely staff, top-drawer service and a brilliant selection of beers, including the awesome Hofmeister.

It's great to have a bar in Marlow that serves some interesting beers that most pub's wouldn't stock. Serving some strong craft beers in 1/3, 1/2, 2/3 and pints, I'd recommend a visit for a couple of sharpeners before going onto another pub or restaurant. Plus, incredible chicken strips - you need to try them...!

Service was very bad. The guy behind the bar was rude and unhelpful, he was clearly more interested in chatting to his friends that were in there at the same time. I would have liked a bit of a chat and advice on the different beers on offer but he had nothing to offer. Shame because the food and beer was good.

People who were part of ownership or management with a baby serving themselves drinks from behind the bar. Drunk, loud and should know better, very uncomfortable to watch, shame as the food and beer were good.

Shame to post a bad review as I was looking forward to trying this place out but people who have either an ownership or work affiliation should know better in how to behave publicly. A lady who had a baby was drunk and pouring herself drinks from behind the bar with a few fellas. They were whistling and singing along with baby shark and other such things from an ipad plonked in front of the baby and were so loud and overwhelming for others eating and drinking. In between they were all going outside for a smoke leaving the baby to its own devices. I like a drink, but this was very uncomfortable to watch. The lady looked like should hardly open her eyes crossing the road to return the high chair back to the bar and grill! Difficult to see and ruined the experience, shame as the food and beer were good.

Many weeks ago, we booked tables for 20 people for our friends 40th birthday. We had preordered our food and were looking forward to a good night out with some great beers. When we arrived last night, the place was packed and they had reserved us one table for 6 people. They did then ask the people sitting by the window to move but one man refused to do so. When I enquired about where we were supposed to sit. We were told the table of 6 could accommodate 8-10 people and the 6 extra bar stools should be sufficient. There was another large table with a family finishing their dinner but they had not reserved for us. The numbers just didn’t stack up! After grabbing a drink (great beer as always!), we asked again where our party should go, with a rather stressed out staff member walking away from me twice (as he couldn’t handle the fact it has been mismanaged). After being told a party of 20 would usually be a private hire (rather late to tell us that when we were squashed in with nowhere to go?!), we were then asked if we would like our food but we pointed out there was nowhere to eat it. Eventually, we cut our losses and went to The Duke of Clarence. It is a real shame as we have popped in there before (with just 1-2 people) and it has been good. It could have ruined what was supposed to be special occasion but we still had a great night with our friends.

He checked in with us four times to ensure we had everything we needed, and the food itself was absolutely incredible. I can confidently say that I had the best chicken I've ever tasted. The Same Same but Different dish was truly phenomenal. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Ginger wings was unreal. Best wings we have ever had, the chef Jack was polite, very helpful we will definitely be back soon. Incredible food!

We walked in and sat at the table which became free when we arrived. We ordered the wings and we were kindly informed by the chef that unfortunately they ran out on the wings and he could offer us the strips instead. We were happy to have those. Shortly after the food was brought, the manager asked us to leave as our table was reserved. The adjacent table had a reserved sign on it, not our table. Her approach and attitude were rude and disgraceful, something we didn't experience anywhere else. The way that communication was done by the manager showed a lack of basic customer service. Never happened to be asked to leave the premises while the food on the table. The place was busy and there were no other tables available. She tried to argue that there was a reserved sign on the table. Someone should have told us that the table was booked before processing our food order. She definitely ruined our dinner and evening. We took the food and left. We felt very unwelcome and badly treated at our expense.

Lovely bar - loads of beers to choose from. Will go again to try the wings next time, they looked amazing.

First visit last night. Absolutely loved everything about this place. Great beers, friendly service, fantastic food and just a good vibe. Super chilled. There’s so much more on the menu that I want to try. I really can’t wait to go back, maybe tomorrow.

Have stopped in for several pints and have always had a great experience with very friendly staff. Haven't yet made it back for the food which will be my next trip

If you want to share your meal and cutlery with dogs, then you are in the right place! I was very disappointed with my first and now last visit to the Crafty Taproom. My family had decided to meet for an early dinner recently. My first impressions were not good. We waited for over half an hour to get a drink, yet the bar was not busy. The staff seemed more interested in chatting to each other rather than serving food! Also, we found the customers loud, rude and used foul language throughout! The decor was tacky with dogs roaming everywhere even being allowed to lick plates. Not impressed!!!!!

Had a fab time at crafty taproom. The wings and dirty fries were amazing. All freshly cooked and steaming hot so no hanging round before serving, oh and the beer is rather good too. We will be back in December and cannot wait ❤️🍻

This is a great little bar, selling a selection of craft keg beers. They rotate the beer menu so you never get bored. They also sell great pizza so what’s not to like!

We stopped in for a pizza and a drink, loved it! The decor is cool the pizza was YUM. My husband purchased some cool beers in a variety of weird and wonderful flavours. Would come back for sure.

I was in this sensational craft beer pub, you can't imagine the quantity and quality of beers there are and the service is unique, I recommend the double ipa which was my favorite, there are also thousands of things to accompany the great beer

Having been let down by a riverside pub we were over the moon to stumble upon this little gem. We were looked after from the moment we walked and enjoyed their selection of unusual drinks. Pizzas (though very tasty) come out two-at-a-time, so recommend adopting...

Nice staff, good selection of craft beer in a relaxed environment. Nice spot to take a break when walking around Marlow, sadly we missed the pizza, twice! They do have a good selection of bar snacks though.

We managed to get a seat on a Saturday early evening. Drinks were very well priced, good selection on offer, nice vibe. The pizzas looked good too, although we had other dinner plans. A cute place to stop for a casual dinner or some drinks....

Great looking bar with nice menu on wall. Only thing was I asked for an IPA and didn’t really want a hazy one. I did ask for a recommendation but maybe they could offer a taster. I could not finish the drink.

Relatively expensive but it's worth it. Great selection of uncommon, craft ales changed regularly and nicely decked out. Also, the pizza is INCREDIBLE and extremely good value!

We went on a Friday night and the service was just so poor I can’t rate it higher unfortunately. We booked a table and were met with a blank look when we arrived and shown to a dirty side table with no explanation on how to order the drinks/food (bar to order drinks and food via an app) and no offer of a menu. Atmosphere and beer were great but service just lacking which is a shame.

Great place to enjoy a good craft beer, bottle of wine or a nice G&T. You can sit inside and enjoy a great vibrant atmosphere or sit outside and watch the wonderful town of Marlow go by. They also do the best pizzas in Marlow, so make sure you give them a try as you won't be disappointed. Eat in or takeaway 😊.

Spent a couple if hours sampling some great ales in the Summer rays. Made use of the dominoes available while listening to the pubs eclectic music choices.ciuldn't be better.

This is a fantastic little place serving a wide selection of beers. The service an atmosphere was first class.

Love this place and the vegan burgers are the best I’ve found (without having to go into London) defiantly worth a visit.

We ordered burgers and fries for lunch in this restaurant. My burger was very juicy and tasty, caramelised onions were excellent cooked and gave a wonderful mouthfeel. Although meal was a bit pricey, if you take into account a burger cost me £10.
