We tried today for the first time and the food was absolutely amazing. Good selection of vegetarian/vegan and portions are generous. Good value for money and completely delicious. The staff are both friendly and helpful with warm, welcoming smiles. We will definitely be back for more.

Authentic Vietnamese cuisine in the heart of Marlow. A pleasant restaurant with a menu direct from South Asia. Very attentive staff. Food pretty good. A good night out!

This was lunch with a friend and our first Vietnamese dining experience. We never realised that Vietnam had such a wonderful cuisine. We have always been huge fans of authentic Thai food but this was right up there. Probably the best prawns we have ever eaten in fact and an all-round outstanding dining experience. Atmosphere was very good but lunchtime is never quite as good as dinner somehow. We will definitely be visiting again (next time for dinner) and would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves authentic Asian food and wants to knock their taste bud socks off!

Loved it inside, small but super cozy and nice aesthetic and decorative. Had lovely and cheerful staff and i felt welcomes and I ordered spring roll, crab fritters and beef pho and it was delicious, warmed me up after being in cold, i'll definitely come again 😊

Amazing good.. but to have to sit in your coat as it so cold 🥶 is not great. The poor staff have to wear thermal layers to work. If they sort the heating out, no doubt the restaurant will be full every night.

Delicious food, my husband I went for our wedding anniversary. I had the prawn curry for the main ( reminded me of my grandma’s food), starters the pork belly pancake. My husband had the beef broth. Mouth watering food. Although we are locals, we hardly eats here. Needs to make it a point. Only thing I would suggest is to make sure the serving staff attends to the guests promptly. Offer water etc. a minor thing, we were served by a polite lady . The owner was there briefly and his foods, always being delicious.

This restaurant is amazing and has absolutely delicious meal options. There definitely is something for everyone to enjoy. Reasonably priced and definitely recommend for a nice restaurant or a treat

We went for dinner last Saturday 18th January,for my mums birthday,we had lovely food..good service too,but our drinks for terrible we ordered pho mojito which is 9.95 and very blend to no taste wats so ever..second cocktail was passion fruit martini price was again 8.95 no taste there were cubes off ice inside the cocktails all our 4 cocktails we ordered took 40 minutes to arrive my mum was sick after the cocktails we spend nearly 60 quid on cocktails which was very bad if your cocktails taste like this then pls don’t put the price 9.95 for one cocktails because thereis know quality for the cocktails you provide.i would not pay even 5 for this cocktails very bad drinks experience we have

Omg! The food blew my mind! Intense flavours, beautifully infused, made my taste buds sing! Thank you so much guys. I don’t think I can eat Vietnamese food anywhere else again! Totally hooked 😍

Fabulous fresh food and service.

We went on a Monday and it was very quiet, unfortunately the menu has changed and there isn't as much choice as there was. They used to have lovely crispy duck pancakes and tempura prawns but these aren't on the menu anymore! The restaurant was freezing there was a small fan heater blowing but it was still cold in there. The waitress was friendly and the food we ordered was quite nice but we ate quickly as so cold! It was also pretty expensive for the portion sizes, we had soft crab for starter and there was one small crab and also tried the chill prawns and five small Prawns were served. Such a shame won't be returning

we arrived at 18.00 and it was very cold inside we asked to turn the temperture up and they put a little fan heater on. Everyone had there coats on. The aubergine dish my wife had was very salty and she told the waitress

Have been going to Marlow every so often for a walk along the river and some shopping .. Thought we have lunch here for a change. Wish we had tried it sooner Lovely restaurant ,ambience and very nice lady who served us . Food was delicious ,good portion and reasonably priced . This will be our new place to eat when we next visit again Can highly recommend

What an incredible find......amazing atmosphere, friendly staff but best of all the food.....some of tastiest food I have eaten. Every course was so delicious and fresh and clearly made by chefs who are passionate about their craft. If you haven't been to Suum already, book a table now, you won't regret it.

This is truly the best place I’ve found for authentic Vietnamese food! The atmosphere is so cosy and welcoming. Every dish is full of incredible flavors, and you can tell how much care goes into every detail. I’ve been here so many times with family and friends, and it’s always a wonderful experience. We all love it and keep coming back because it’s just that good. I can’t recommend it enough, it’s an absolute favorite!

The flavours were absolutely lovely and so unique to us, a real treat for the taste buds. The presentation of each dish was stunning, showing care and attention to detail. Everything we ordered was fresh, delicious, and beautifully served. If you’re new to Vietnamese cuisine or already a fan, this place is a must-visit. We can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu! Highly recommended.

Our experience of lunch at Suum Kitchen was wonderful. The owner and staff were lovely, welcoming and very helpful. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and not too loud. Everything also seemed very clean and hygienic. We had the pho which was really delicious and beautifully presented. Two of our group had specific dietary requirements which were readily accomodated for (and without decreasing the quality of the food which is not always the case!).

I asked if the mango margarita is very sweet and I was told no, however the cocktail came with a rim of sugar and it was disgusting. I accidentally spilled my drink on myself, the chair and the floor. I was given one extra napkin, nobody cleaned the floor or swapped my wet chair so I sat all evening on half wet chair. The food was quite salty and the portions were small. Ruined the whole evening, I wish I spoke up and taken off the service charge.

I’ve recently moved to the UK from Australia where there is a large Vietnamese community and, therefore, lots of great quality Vietnamese food. This is the first time I’ve found really good quality South East Asian food in the UK.

I had a lotus salad for the starter and the vegetarian pho. Fresh, crunchy, flavourful! I can't wait to go back. The owner was very friendly and we had a chat when we finished our meals - it felt very welcoming. I love the menu and how easy it was to navigate it. Plenty of veggie/vegan options available.

Turned down by another chain restaurant in the high street as they had no walk in availability, so decided to try Suum Kitchen for lunch. I'm so glad I did! What a delicious meal and brilliant friendly service. The amount of vegetarian choice was amazing - I'm not used to having so many options to choose from. Will definitely be back soon!

We had a lovely dining experience here. The owner came over and talked to us making us feel very welcome, after which we were served delicious fresh and flavourful food from the vegan menu, which is great to see options for. My girlfriend is Vietnamese and said it was very close to the original even being a vegan version of it. Nicely decorated and calm music made for a nice atmosphere. Great service from the owner and well priced with nice presentation. We would happily return.

Went to Suum on a friday night for a birthday celebration and we cannot fault this place!!! The food and staff were absolutely incredible and no big waiting time for food even though we were a group of 7. I'm definitely coming back with my son as he has been wanting to go for quite some time. Lovely atmosphere, great location and great food. Suum is a great place in Marlow to start your night with friends, without a doubt!

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES!!! I ordered food off the menu that was labelled as gluten free and nut free, and triple checked with staff that my order was safe for me with severe allergies. However I was repeatedly served dishes that clearly were covered in nuts, and as my family’s food was being served was then told I couldn’t have what I ordered as it had gluten in. I was patient and repeatedly reiterated how important this was to get right and they need to change their menu, but they did not grasp how their mistakes could have caused life threatening allergic reaction. The food my family had they all said was delicious so I’m sure it would be a nice restaurant if you don’t have a restricted diet.

What a gorgeous, traditional Vietnamese restaurant! I came here with my parents yesterday for lunch and the food was absolutely delicious. We shared three starters (crispy pancakes, chilli prawns and prawn spring rolls) and the flavours were fresh and vibrant. Mum and I both had the lemongrass chilli Pho and Dad had the chicken curry, all of which were exceptional. The staff are extremely friendly and the service was excellent. We will DEFINITELY be back! Thank you, Suum!

I recommend the lychee juice, chicken pho, green tea, coffee and platter for two starter. Every year my daughter and son want to come here for their birthday and they love it every time!!!!!!!!!!!!🥰

Takeaway, food excellent but portions small. Spent £57 for two and could have done with more rice at least as not enough. I understand they have overheads, but you could actually fill the rice containers for a few penny's. Excellent online menu, but the slot booked for 1730 food not ready and told to wait 10 minutes so I popped next door to buy cream buns. We will return as we liked the food.

We ate one of the best Pho's here! Really highly recommended. Also very friendly and very loving towards children, although luckily ours slept. We'll be back! Thank you!

Outstanding flavours and service

I stayed two nights in Marlow and both nights I ate here the food was so delicious 😋 on the first night I had a prawn salad and salt and chilli prawns and I even told them on the first night I would probably be back the next day because the food was so fabulous. Second night I had the scallops and the hanoi grilled pork and I actually could not believe the flavours and am not exaggerating when I say it's probably one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life. I was flabbergasted by that meal lol. The broth that comes with it is not to be underrated it brings the dish to its glory. Will definitely be back with Hubby one day

We booked a table but there was no need, I expected it to be busy for Sunday lunch…. There were only 4 tables filled… However, we had the prawn summer roll starter x 2 which came with 8 pieces, which was enough but we did run out of the yummy peanut sauce. The Bún Húê was declared good and served with salad. The beef green curry was tasty. The Passion Fruit Chicken seemed a little small, even for a poussin and the Peppercorn Duck was tasty but also quite small. There were only two tiny pieces of carrot which was a shame… we tried both the jasmine and coconut rice… Overall the prices are quite high for the size of the dishes, we were still quite hungry. Fortunately we had birthday cake to eat with family when we returned home… We all enjoyed the food but the service was extremely slow and inattentive. No one came to clear our starter plates before the mains arrived and the mains were not cleared until after we eventually got the bill, which took some time. As they were not at all busy there was no excuse, I wonder how they manage if it gets busy?

Been to Suum several times now. The experience is always fantastic. Went on a Tuesday night this week with friends and it was buzzing which was nice to see. Great authentic Vietnamese restaurant. The food is always amazing. I had the Tumeric fish, it was outstanding. My wife is a veggie and she had ample choice and loved her food too. Finally, best Spring rolls you will ever taste! The best Vietnamese I've been to and considerably better than any of the chains. Fantastic service, warm atmosphere and terrific food which was nicely presented. Great for gluten free too. Definitely plan to return again soon.

I chose Suum Kitchen to celebrate my husbands birthday with our daughters. The service was fantastic, the staff were friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much of a problem, particularly with one daughter’s dietary requirements. The food was amazing, fresh and beautifully presented. I look forward to returning as there are so many delicious dishes on the menu that I want to try. I Highly recommend.

A great restaurant in Marlow. Wonderful food, particularly the duck, perfectly cooked. On every course the different flavours blended so well together. Staff were lovely & attentive, taking time to explain & recommend different dishes. Will definitely return.

Delicious food, reminding me of my trip to Vietnam. Service was brilliant and Nhung was lovely and friendly.

The pho I went for and a pint of rebellion, I was feeling cheeky. As soon as I walked in fresh lemon grass welcomingly greeted my nostrils. I knew then I had made a good decision. The pho arrives. I’m excited, and so I should be. I take my first mouthful. Wow ! It’s delicious. The broth was deep with flavour and obviously very good for me. The noodles cooked to perfection and the tofu fried beautifully. 10/10 would recommend

Finally got to eat here after spending last few years having my hair cut opposite enjoying the smells from the kitchen and watching everyone enjoy lunch! We went for dinner to celebrate a birthday and the food was excellent. My only complaint was the scallops starter was tiny, I was expecting queen scallops not 3 tiny ones so I wouldn't order that again. However the duck main was delicious as was everything else our table ordered. The wine was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxed and the staff very attentive and helpful. Highly recommend

Truly wonderful lunch here with my daughter yesterday. We sat outside and were well attended by a very friendly waitress. The food gets better and better each time I go to Suum. Incredibly fresh, healthy and authentic Vietnamese food. Do try it!

My husband and I had a great anniversary meal. As I am gluten and soy intolerant it’s often difficult to have any Asian food and the team at Suum were super accommodating. The scallops, gf rice pancakes and phos (satay with beef and veggie) were divine! We can’t wait to come back soon.

Probably my favourite place to eat in Marlow. Not the cheapest, but certainly one of the best.

I stayed in Marlow 2 nights for work. I love Vietnamese food and Suum had great reviews so it was my first stop. I enjoyed the food and service so much that I went back on the 2nd night and even managed to squeeze in lunch on my last day before leaving Marlow. The restaurant is a family affair and it is evident not just by the quality of the food but by the welcome of the whole team there. Over my stay, I've had the pleasure of trying lots of the smaller dishes: the lemongrass sauteed scallops (the sauce was delightful and I went for them again the next night), the chilli king prawns (perfectly cooked), the summer rolls (tasty and fresh), the spring rolls (well filled and properly crispy), char-grilled betel leaves (one of my favourites!) and the prawns lotus salad (so flavourful and refreshing - again, one of my favourites!). Main wise, I've tried one of the broth - Bún Húê (lemongrass Húê noodles) - and the Bún Châ Hà Nô (Hanoi style char-grilled pork). Both were very flavourful and most enjoyable if a little sweet for my taste (would probably not be a problem for anyone else). I can't wait to have a chance to go back to Marlow so I can keep working my way through their menu!

Had dinner here last night with my partner. A delicious meal. Everything tasted freshly cooked, beautiful king prawns starter and a tasty tender chicken curry. Saucing was so good. Thank you, we’ll be back in a few weeks

I thought it might be better than what I received. Only one other table was occupied, which might have been a clue. Shame as I had heard good things about this place.

Did go here with the girls, we had a 43 minute waiting to get the first main, a little too much, but the food was very good, a little expensive thought. But the town is one of these small and posh little villages, where people are all full of dosh. It's over an hour drive from aylesbury. I would not drive here all the way again. Better and cheaper places in London

Fabulous vietnamese food at his best. Highly recommend!

Don’t think we’ll go back again. It looks like a pretty place with lovely decoration. But the food and service disappointed us. a) The prawn cracker for us was barely half amount of the other tables. b) One of our starter got totally forgotten and delayed for at least half an hour. c) All our main course didn’t come at the same/similar time. d) All our main taste yummy but unfortunately most of them were not hot enough, only warmish. e) The chicken in the main was definitely the smallest chicken we’ve ever seen, which was a big shock tbh. Pretty much the same size as the roast pigeon that you can find from a Hong Kong restaurant. Overall it was not a very pleasant experience.

Good food and friendly service.

We dined here on our wedding anniversary, the cocktails tasted nice but neither of us could taste any alcohol, very disappointing. Having travelled to Vietnam we found the food rather bland, it was good rather than excellent, we glad we tried Suum but we won’t be returning.

Ordered a takeaway from here, unfortunately no pics of the food, because I smashed it when I got back home. Had a chicken and prawn broth, summer rolls, crispy pancake... honestly the best Vietnamese food I've had outside of Vietnam. Highly recommend. Also had a cheeky half pint while I waited for my food. EDIT: Knocking 2 stars off for the removal of stir fried dishes after the change in management. How can you offer Viet food without stir frying? Much as I love pho, Viet cuisine is not 100% pho. We love the pho here. All the different kinds of pho here are fantastic. I guess that comes down to the tasty soup and high-quality noodles. One major annoyance is the 15% service automatically added to the bill. To be fair, the service is usually good... BUT not always. Also good to see they regained 4 of the 5 stars for food hygiene they lost last year.

Came here for a family birthday meal, the food came promptly. The restaurant is pretty and the service is good. Food was fantastic and great for vegetarians! All in all very enjoyable. One minor point, we found the cost to eat here a tad on the expensive side, however, we will be back for sure! Well done.

Food is good, service not so good. The waitress forgot to order our child’s food but lied and said the kitchen was busy hence why it took longer than expected. We waited about 20 minutes from initial complaint to receiving the food. The manager wasn’t really that concerned with our issue, we had to push for them to remove the food but all they did was remove the service. Really disappointed, customer service is clearly not that important to them

Wow! New chef Nguyen has really excelled. We had a meal here with friends and all four dishes and starters were of the highest quality. Having just returned from Vietnam, we wanted to relive some of the food memories and this did not disappoint. And even better, most of the food is naturally gluten free. Service was excellent and overall is was a great night!
