Good, classic pub with some lovely Rebellion ale.

The perfect place we were looking for at lunchtime and right off the high street. The menu was varied enough for everyone’s needs and the food was quite tasty. My companions opted for a traditional fish and chips that looked perfectly cooked and not overly greasy. It was served with good sauces and mushy peas to complete the experience. I chose a beef fillet pie with mash. The dessert options were also well rounded. Two of us opted to have the cask ale on menu. It was perfect: smooth and easy to drink with good flavor and not too high an alcohol content for lunch. The service was also spot on. The friendly and helpful Ivana was also clever and good-spirited enough to roll right along with our cheek and punchiness. The food arrived quite quickly as well. The place was wonderful.

My fish and chips were absolutely fantastic! Our server Ivana was very friendly and attentive. When we questioned her about the brewery the menu, She told us all about menu and we chose fish and chips and pint of rebellion. What a lovely venue, with great food and lovely service. I would certainly come back here and would recommend it to friends

Sadly not a very good visit. The pub was half empty for the rugby and most tables reserved. It got to the point where people were being turned away, yet there was still masses of space on offer. The whole premise of capacity controls and reservations is very archaic and a bad hangover from the pandemic, and not a very good one. A public house should be for all. If this is the business model for some pubs then no wonder they struggle! You don’t want loads of dead space when you could be filling every nook and cranny. Besides this, issues ensued in that I ordered a pint of Roasted Nuts which was completely off and tasted like vinegar. I told the barmaid and she reluctantly offered me another ale. I went for another Rebellion ale (can’t quite recall which), but it was barely passable. Having looked forward to some nice local ales and expecting them to be nice they were very poor and shouldn’t have been on. I should’ve taken the second ale back, but the hostile reception I got from doing so once already made it feel awkward. The missus had strawberry daiquiris on 2-4-1 from the tap and they were mostly froth and of really poor quality. The drinks and service here were very poor and the whole business model was quite hostile. I think half the pub was reserved for under 18s which is quite bizarre! They need to take pride in what they serve and how they deal with customers a lot more here. I wouldn’t hurry back but that said I would hurry back to Marlow either truth be told. The pandemic is in the last and best left there!

Came in for breakfast, lovely atmosphere. Was greeted immediately with a smile. Ordered the full English, came very quickly. Bacon was cooked perfectly and eggs were lovely. The manager is so friendly. Definitely a place to come back to. Hats off to the chef.

What a mistake. Very poor burgers they were over cooked and probably one of the worst burgers I've ever had. Will be a great place for drinks but avoid the food.

Great spot for breakfast, clean warm and friendly service. Toasted cheese needs working on... but overall - our fav breakfast spot and they like dogs too !

Large pub and lots of sports televisions inside, so good for football tennis rugby. Large menus and popular for food. Open Christmas day. Dog friendly

Quick breakfast lunch with team. Very efficient but the poor girl was rushed off her feet.

Great pub to watch the football in, it has a good atmosphere and was very busy for a Sunday evening. We didn't eat, but food looked nice. They also have the mixer app.

I popped in yesterday for breakfast before work. Nice full English breakfast and coffee. The place is really nice with lots of friendly people behind the bar. If you like watching any sports this is the place to go making it very easy to see the Totenhem vs Aston villa with multiple screens. Good wifi as well definitely look forward to going back 👍👍

Go for the live sport and cold beers. Do not waste your money ordering food here, you will be disappointed with what you paid for. We ordered Nacho Beef Chilli Sharer, received it, took it back to the bar saying they've forgotten to add the beef chilli... She took it back to the kitchen but came straight out saying 'it's on there'. Honestly, we had to dig to find maybe 2 teaspoons of beef chilli on there. Waste of money! This is not acceptable.

Been here a few times, always enjoy the 2-for-1 cocktails so a good place to go with friends or on a date. Lots of TV screens everywhere so if you're into sports you're guaranteed a good view of a screen. Personally I'm a sports person but there's nice quiet evenings there where it's peaceful with sports on in the background but quiet enough you can still hear your friends talking. I had a beef burger and it was yammy

Had lunch here today after reading all the positive reviews, we were not disappointed. The food was excellent and really good value, very relaxing atmosphere and the lady behind the bar was extremely friendly. I would definitely return if in the area. Highly recommend.

I had a hamburger with fries. The burger was thin and burnt and left this taste in your mouth. The bun crumbled as soon as you picked it up and bit into it, it seemed like it wanted to resurrect a sandwich from many days ago.

Stopped off for breakfast. Pretty standard pub-chain fare. Good value for money and fast service. The pub itself was boiling hot even with just a t-shirt on. Thermostat could have comfortably turned down 5 degrees.

We stopped here for a quick bite on our way to Oxford from London. It’s a nice place - clean and enjoyable - although not a real standout. We each got a jacket potato and cold beverage, which were prepared well. I’d stop here again but wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

I had a very good breakfast sandwich with a freshly cooked egg with runny yolk. Menu is very good value for money and if I say it's like a posh Weatherspoons I mean that as a compliment! You get a free drink with breakfast sandwiches and lunch. Pleasant staff and nice atmosphere. Fine for a single women to visit

The breakfasts here are first class, all cooked fresh and very tasty. Real sausages! Would have liked to add black pudding as an option but not available. Your staff are so lovely and kind, we only go there for breakfasts as the sports tv's are off-putting for a night out for us.

Amazing food with great service and a lovely atmosphere ! It is was a birthday treat and I couldn't have picked a better place to go. The food was absolutely delicious especially the pudding which was recommended by the waiter and was fab ! Live DJ on Saturday night and just a lovely place to be in Marlow.

We visited this pub on a sunny day just for drinks. Sitting outside, we enjoyed the 2-for-1 cocktails and a few pints. It was a great spot to relax and soak up the weather. We had a nice time and appreciated the lively, pleasant atmosphere.

Two chicken burgers were edible, but two beef burgers were overcooked to the point of being charcoal and undrinkable. When I asked to replace one of them, the waiter himself commented that it was burnt. They replaced it for me, confusing it with another dish, and I again asked to replace it with what I originally ordered. The manager got involved in resolving this issue, who very rudely said that the new burger would also be burnt, since they grill it on charcoal. It is unacceptable to serve such food, and the manager's attitude is disgusting and unacceptable towards the client. The manager did not even apologize and with a dissatisfied face in a very ugly manner, issued a refund. The waiters worked well, and such a manager is a shame and disgrace. She spoils the reputation of the establishment.

Food was overcooked, when we ordered replacement we received wrong return and at the same time manager looked very frustrated by the situation.

I am not accustomed to British pubs as I prefer bars because they resonate with me. My uncle suggested that to overcome my fears or misconceptions, we should go to a pub in Marlow. That being said, I cannot stress enough that the experience at the Old Brewery was absolutely perfect. The minute I walked into the premises, the atmosphere was calm, and there was no nonsense from anyone during my time there. I ordered a beer and a pub classic: hand-battered fish and chips with tartare sauce and garden peas. The Old Brewery is one of the cheapest places to eat in Marlow. The prices reflect the quality of the food, and the service is exceptional! A fantastic first-time experience in a British pub 💯

Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Level entrance so good for disabled. Sports shown regularly. Nice place to dine or drink.😎

I visit Marlow frequently, but have never been to The Old Brewery. We had a great lunch today and all at a very reasonable price, while watching the Olympics on TV. Perfect!

There is a real change in this place since my last visit, really good food, smashing service and happier looking staff. Will definitely be back as use to visit a lot years ago.

Employees were very friendly, and seating was very plenty, with booths containing a personal TV. Plenty of reasonably priced food options throughout the day. Tap water was free. Online ordering available inside restaurant.

Lovely pub. Come here a lot. Bar staff are good people and always friendly. Highly recommend. Liam and Poppy are great people and fun to talk to. Also uses the MIXR app which can get you free drinks.

This is one of the cheapest places to eat in Marlow, prices for food is good. Aidan who served us at the bar was friendly. Unfortunately though half of the items were not on My plate so had to send it back, one of the staff members didn't look happy that I asked her to take it back and add the rest of my meal I had paid for. Also my son asked for his steak well done but it was burnt on outside but only cooked medium inside. Not sure if we will go back but if we do hope the food is correctly cooked/all items are on the plate. Generally the food tasted nice.

One of the best bar staff in the pub. Liam has always been welcoming and friendly. Always recommend food and drinks. Advised on the mix app as well. All stuff have been nothing but great and friendly.

We needed a dog friendly pub that could also cater for a two year old so we booked a table for lunchtime here. We were made very welcome, including a high chair being supplied for the little. Food was hot and well presented, we decided to try the cocktails the two bar staff enjoyed making them. We had a fabulous day such a happy friendly place and staff were friendly and Emma was very welcoming. If I am in the area again we would definitely call in again . Thank you
