My husband and I come here regularly for lunch - friendly service and delicious bagels. My husband gets salt beef, which he loves, I get halloumi. Chips are great too. Can’t fault it

Charming little restaurant with fabulous cakes and helpful staff. I visited with my friend who lives locally and recommended this place. I can see why. Comfortable seating for a start; good coffee and a lovely piece of what I think was home-made lemon cake. I was told their salt-beef sandwiches are spectacular so that’s on the agenda for my next visit!

The traditional salt beef bagel is out of this world - easily as good as if not better than anything you’ll find in New York! A must-visit if you’re in Marlow. And a big thank you to Sarah who was my waitress - a lovely experience!

I love eating breakfast away from home and the choice of going to Strawberry Grove was inspired. The menu was difficult to choose from, there were at least 6 dishes I could have chosen but in the end I went for the Welsh Rarebit (served with eggs and bacon) the Rarebit itself was incredible, fantastic bread and very cheesy with a hint of mustard. I would eat it again tomorrow given a chance. I don't drink tea or coffee but having seen my son's pistachio latte I followed suit (he had a shot of coffee and I could have drunk that as well it was so good) and it was great. My wife had the shakshuka which she really enjoyed and my son had the Californian Eggs Benedict. Our guest went for the sausage sandwich, again it was highly recommended.

We visited this cafe today and had great service, nice friendly welcome. My husband ordered the Welsh Rarebit. When it came he was very impressed that it came with bacon and eggs. He said it was absolutely delicious one of the best he had ever had. Thank you! This is an excellent cafe, great service and we love the decoration.

My daughter and I popped in here with my three year old granddaughter for breakfast. We were directed to a large table plenty of room to keep a little one occupied with colouring pens and paper we bought with us. My daughter ordered a bacon roll, orange juice and a mocha, a children's breakfast with juice and I opted for avocado on toast with bacon and asked for no eggs as I really dislike them. l also ordered a Earl Grey and freshly squeezed juice - it came in a bottle not sure why it's freshly squeezed! A lady served us she was friendly the service was quick and the food arrived hot. A pretty decor and a pleasant place to eat. We were staying in Cookham sp this was a one off visit for us.

My friend and I stopped at this lovely cafe and had chicken Caesar salad. I asked to add red onion and cucumber and not have the avocado, the lady serving checked with chef no problem at all. Salad was fresh and good portion. price £11. Very friendly staff would totally recommend x

This places seems to think that they are doing customers a favour by serving them. I was in there yesterday and was told in no uncertain terms that I was 'in her way' while looking at the cake selection before ordering. There are better and friendly places to eat in Marlow with staff who haven't forgotten who pays their wages!

I ordered cinnamon roll and pistachio latte. The cinnamon roll was literally cold and the pistachio latte took long to arrive when we were almost finished eating. The price for the pistachio latte was £6 and it was disappointing, nothing special, just like milk coloured green. My daughter enjoyed her sourbread with 2 poached eggs. Lovely decor.

What an absolute gem of a place! The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is very tasty and generous! For brunch, I had the smashed avocado on sourdough bread with a poached egg. Absolutely delicious! I was offered a complimentary cake for my birthday. I chose the banoffee and it was sensational! Highly recommend a visit - we’ll be back!

Awful. Waited 40 minutes, asked how much longer - 5 minutes. We think they had completely forgotten/lost the order. Offered us free drinks. Gave up after another 10 minutes. Seems totally chaotic. Never again.

We came for breakfast and ordered veggie breakfast x2, and a cheese / ham toastie. Wonderful food, beautifully presented and such a great ambience we stayed all morning! Probably not the cheapest breakfast you can get in Marlow (veggie breakfast £13) but a lovely way to meet with friends.

My favourite cafe in Marlow, very pretty and cosy and dogs are allowed inside, just lovely. Food and staff are wonderful too, good to have a full vegetarian breakfast available for me as well. Very good and Sarah looked after us wonderfully, all the staff members in there are very sweet and efficient. Thanks for having us and we’ll be back again.

Visited Strawberry Grove today in Marlow , where I was served by the lovely lady called Sarah , I had to ask her name so I could pass her in this review! She was so friendly , caring & professional as she bought my order over ..I had a lovely coffee latte and almond croissant. I certainly will return & if all staff were smiley and happy as Sarah was today it makes the day so much nicer . Thank you

Hadn't been in a while and was surprised to see a sign saying 'we have a new chef, new menu'. We had a breakfast bagel and salt beef bagel with chips. The food was excellent! We only stumbled in because we were starving and weren't expecting such nice food. I don't know if it's always been like this but I highly recommend it!

Quite frankly, appalling. Coffee tepid. Food admitted yesterday’s, solid, scone supposedly heated was cold and almost felt wet. We left the food and told them we were leaving. And they had the audacity to charge us for the coffee. Appalling management, appalling food. Will never go back.

My son and I went to this beautiful little cafe for brunch last Sunday after a cold, wet football match, and had such a lovely, warm experience. Sarah and Lucy were wonderfully kind, tweaking our order to suit my vegan diet and my son's greedy palate:) It made for a great time together and we will definitely go back - especially if left to my 10 year old, who said how he always absolutely loved going to Strawberry Grove for their happy decor, their delicious food and the friendliness!

My friends & I have been eating here regularly for years now - I recommend it to anyone who enjoys Indian or Nepalese cuisine (a good selection of really tasty dishes, good value and catering for different levels of spicy 'heat') and they're serving some more 'traditional' pub fare again now, too. They know how to look after their ales and have a selection of lagers, plus cider and all the usual drinks you'd expect to find in a pub. The staff are great - friendly & helpful, get to know their regulars and I've lost count of the number of times that I've just been thinking that "I ought to go and order food" when, as if by magic, someone will appear to take my order. The place is divided into separate 'restaurant' and 'pub' sections, with a good-sized beer garden in front, so you can pick your preferred setting for food &/or drink. There's a decent car park in front, too, with free parking for customers.

Turned up for a late lunch with the family, told 'we don't do food, haven't for years'. Decided to stay for a drink; slow service, rude (bar staff just stood there staring at us), and then some kid tried to sell us drugs from a menu on his phone. Real classy place. Certainly won't be returning.

Superb food. Service was good but the truffle chips are a waste of money so don't bother. A very solid 8.5/10
