As a visitor from Brazil, I had the pleasure of enjoying my first traditional afternoon tea at Coworth Park, and it was a fantastic experience. We were there to celebrate my visit with the seasonal autumn menu. The sandwiches and cakes were absolutely delicious, and our host was attentive throughout. My mum's garlic and egg allergy requirements were carefully catered for, and the food was beautifully presented. The place is lovely, and the surroundings are stunning. We would definitely come back for another special occasion!

First time coming here for our anniversary, Chris Valdez absolutely made the evening for us. He was so lovely, supportive, just the best service we have experienced. We tried his favourite dessert cocktail too which we loved! The attention to detail he added, just really made our evening. Thank you so much - we will be back! Couldn’t recommend more.

I booked afternoon tea spa package for my partners birthday and it was perfect from the lovely afternoon tea with little birthday cake for my partner then amazing relaxing couples massage. The spa facilities are five star & very relaxing with no phones allowed. There is a steam room, experience shower & swimming pool with sun terrace but there was no sauna or jacuzzi so I would say don’t just come and pay for the facilities make sure you book a treatment. The grounds of Coworth Park are beautiful and we had lovely cocktails up at the main house. All staff were very helpful and gave fantastic service. Amazingly relaxing day.

Went for family birthday, food was very good with the steak being especially tender. The Service was very attentive and friendly and were even presented with a 2nd happy birthday chocolate desert. Bruno was a real credit to the hotel and made the evening special. Would definitely recommend.

We took advantage of their August offer for Afternoon Tea, it was a splendid tea but marred a little by the manager who tried to overcharge us by over £20.00. This was despite having been presented with an itemised printed bill from the hotel, which clearly stated the correct outstanding price to pay. All was eventually sorted out, but it was rather embarrassing as there were other diners in the vicinity.

Lived nearby and was a regular here though the 90’s & 00’s. Family & friends, special occasions or casual lunches - always superb. Moved away but had the opportunity to relive those wonderful memories last weekend. Visited for Sunday lunch, seated, immediately asked if we wanted to order, asked for a few moments, drinks brought to table, and then… nothing… we had become invisible. After 20 minutes we eventually managed to shout/wave/interrupt a staff member, we were told someone else would attend, someone did, but only to take away the menus, said we hadn’t ordered anything yet, staff member looked shocked, said someone else would attend, eventually someone did and we ordered - over 40 minutes of pantomime before the meal arrived. The roast beef really was absolutely superb. Glad the kitchen is still at the same high standard. Had to ask for salt & pepper. Had to ask for other condiments. Had to ask for more drinks. There were at least 5 waiting staff. Something’s not quite right! I notice you didn’t forget to add the service charge though! Nostalgia is a funny old thing. No need for me to ever return.

We had a lovely meal here while staying nearby. Two of us had sausage and mash, one had pie, and one had chicken liver pate. Food good, beer great but best of all was the friendly atmosphere and the very lovely young ladies who served us. Excellent service (in stark contrast to the other pub nearby 😂).

The food was outstanding, lovely atmosphere. The menu also boats a lovely variety. The taste impeccable. Was really a lovely Sunday morning. My daughter ate everything and she doesn’t normally eat all her food. The drinks were also very amazing.

We booked a table for six for a Friday evening a few weeks in advance. The staff called me and confirmed that under the new, current management, they were still able to facilitate us and we definitely had a table. When we arrived, the staff claimed there was no record of the booking. I showed them my phone log and they confirmed it was their number that called me a few weeks prior. However, despite the date of this call being after they came under new management, they claimed it was not their staff who called me. They took no accountability, did not apologise and only suggested we waited until a table became available. The Avoid at all costs.

I dropped in for breakfast before going racing as it's only a short walk to the course entrance. Prices are reasonable and I looked forward to a nice breakfast. It looked great but it was sadly really disappointing. My view is that the cafe uses cheap (and quite nasty) ingredients. I was happy with my eggs and bacon but the sausage and black pudding were tasteless, the hash brown just ok (I don't think the cooking oil had been changed in a while) the toast was poor and spread with some very yellow sort of margarine - completely inedible. The sauces were definitely not Heinz (or HP) and tasted pretty revolting. I'd rather pay a few pounds more and have tasty, quality food so it's a thumbs down for me.

Charged us 85p for tomato sauce & 30p for milk for a cup of tea. Not advised at any time we would be charged. When mentioned when we paid the bill. All they said was we should have been told. They did not offer to take the charges off the bill. Outrageous! They are not interested in walk ins only regulars. The food was mediocre.
