Most times the coffee is really good.....staff are always friendly and helpful. Always my first stop after leaving home in the morning before a hard day's work

With so many chains in the high street in Windsor, it's hard to find an independent bakery/coffee shop, so Rex is an excellent find. The sourdough breads are great for taking away and toasting. Pastries fresh and delicious. But what made it stand out was the service from Meral, the manager. She knows how to welcome people, prepare an excellent eating experience , providing us with all the sit down service. We didn't need to ask keep asking for anything. She was instinctive and knew what we wanted. She is an asset. Thank you Meral!!

Ordered chips, onion rings and mac and cheese as a light snack at the end of a long work day. It was honestly horrendous. Onion rings were crispy but look anaemic and tasted like oily water. No seasoning or flavour at all. Mac and cheese didn’t even look edible. Looked like someone threw up in the bowl and we didn’t touch it at all. Chips were okay but weren’t completely cooked and again lacked flavour.

MISERABLE If you’re thinking of popping in for a coffee I would suggest walking 2 seconds further to Costa. The business has been taken over by new owners and subsequently employed all new staff. Customer service is appalling, very rude and unfriendly. If you’d like your drink made within 20 minutes I would suggest getting behind the counter and making it yourself and as for hygiene I , I wouldn’t even let my dog eat in there. The final straw for me was the chunk of milk swimming in the bottom of my drink. I was actually sick outside of my car. As I said Costa is two seconds up the road and staff are always so pleasant.

They have a captive audience, and they prices are accordingly. All in all the food was ok-ish. Some of the dishes (pizzas, chicken wings) were really great, most were sub-par (fish and chips which is obviously supermarket bought), and a few were unedible. This place's drawback, like any theme park restaurant, is in its value for money. We paid over 110£ for a dinner for 2 kids + 2 adults. We didn't leave hungry, but I can't say the food quality \ taste really justifies the hefty cost. We could have gotten a much better meal if we have simply ordered a Deliveroo to the hotel

Not visited here for many years. Had an early dinner this evening, i now remember why we stopped coming. You’re met as you walk through the front door with a small ground floor table and chairs area, but this appears to be used as a storage area now. Boxes of drinks everywhere. The restaurant on the 1st floor is tired. Not particularly clean. Service was slow and inattentive apart from one girl who was delightful. Multiple tables around us were still uncleared from the previous customers for over 30mins. Trying to get the bill was a struggle to get anyone’s attention. Our pizzas were average. We will not return again.
