Wonderfully cooked and delicious takeaway (in the COVID times), delivered with a smile, great range of vegetarian and scrumptious lamb. Excellent frothy tomato and also yoghurt sauces.

I’m very pleased that this restaurant is on our doorstep. The food and the service is exceptional. Lovely, friendly staff with a warm welcome. Savoury or sweet selections, I love it all. The cakes are delicious. I cannot recommend it highly enough here.

Nice pub. Not very kid friendly, though. They don't have a kids menu. They said they could do smaller versions of the adult meals....but at the same price....🤷‍♂️

Not as good as it used to be, ok but not wow, still only take cash which is unusual.

Two of us go for full English every Friday. The food, service and, particularly the lovely staff, are absolutely amazing. We really enjoy our visit.

Visited the Chairmakers today as a birthday dinner with my family. As it was a Sunday we had the carvery. As a group we all agreed that this was one of the best carveries that we have had in a long time. Everything was spot on, we could not fault any part of the meal. The excellent main course was topped off by a great dessert. I highly recommend the creme brulee, perfect. We will be going again very soon

Wow, what a wonderful meal. We have just had Sunday lunch here at the Fox and Hounds, and it must be said, the food, the atmosphere and the staff make this pub one of the very best we have visited for a very long time. Our Sunday lunch was perfect, the beef was perfectly tender, and the vegetables were also fantastic, as were the staff. The prices are a little on the high side, but perfection comes at a price. The pub is a little difficult to find, but seek it out, you won't be disappointed.

Came in with friends for a pint and a chat, quite a few locals in, all very friendly. Three hand pulls on, plus three lagers. I opted for the Proper Job and it was lovely. Great atmosphere and dogs were welcome. I'll definitely come back when I'm next visiting friends nearby.

This pub has a large menu and decent pricing but unfortunately that means they do not do overly well with any of the dishes. I had an ok steak but inexplicably came with what felt like a supermarket salad bag dumped on the plate. It served no purpose other than to be 'filler'. No seasoning either. This was followed by a crumble where the fruit was too hard and not cooked well enough and too dry. Solid pricing, but if only they honed in on a smaller number of dishes to improve lackluster food.
