Friendly welcome fantastic service and food 😀

Terrible! Food arrived cold (we are very local) and was completely tasteless. In fact the only thing that had taste was the lime pickle. Ended up throwing away as I’m sure a washed sock has more taste. Go elsewhere if you want your tastebuds tickled or if you prefer bland food go for it. Delivery driver was friendly though.

Without a doubt the best place to eat ! They always make you welcome, the atmosphere is fantastic and the food melts in your mouth ! In addition, they provide takeaway meals for those people who can’t or don’t want to eat out. And the menu identifies dairy & gluten free products which is a bonus for me 🙏 Highly recommended - you won’t be disappointed 👍

I could very easily say that this Indian is simply the best I have ever experienced, a truly beutiful tastful dish was found, well done and keep upthe experience.

First time trying. Can not fault. On time (collection) hot, plenty of it, tasted delicious and as expected. Great with the 15% currently being offered for cash on collection. Very happy, will definitely be back.

First visit. All food was excellent, service very good. Prices reasonable. Overall can't fault our visit.

Fantastic meal and service, I had the chilli squid but unfortunately a bit too spicy for me, so they kindly without any hesitation replaced it with another variation which was absolutely delicious, and so was the main meal. The staff were very friendly, attentive and went that extra mile to make a very enjoyable birthday celebration. Thank you.

After waiting almost an hour for our meal to come out, they forgot the rice. By the time the rice arrived, the food was cold. It taken away promptly and replaced but unfortunately this time we had no cutlery. I ordered two gin and slimline tonics - despite asking for the same drink twice, this is not what I received. Front of house walked around aimlessly constantly looking over our shoulders and asking if we had finished. They were certainly keen to take our plates! We’ve eaten here several times before but this visit was disappointing. The food was okay - not a lot of flavour and the atmosphere ruined by the sheer number of waitresses who were stood around close to tables with nothing to do. £75 for a not very enjoyable evening - we are in no rush to return. Kassia - thank you for your response. Your email requested we review which we have done honestly. We have eaten with you a number of times in the past and had excellent service and food. It was just unfortunate on this occasion, it fell way below our expectations. A member of your staff shared with us at the end of the evening that ‘it’s been a difficult night and the kitchen was short staffed’. Reviews are there for a reason - with good reviews come bad and they are an opportunity to learn and motivate the team as you said yourself. The only member of staff to apologise was the nice lady to whom we paid our bill. She also offered us a free baileys as her way of recognising the quality of the evening.

Great food and excellent service, especially from the young waiter called Jack. I believe he also has done deliveries to us in the past and has never failed to make us smile with his great humour and service. Would thoroughly recommend. 5 stars.

Hubby and I went for a midweek curry. First visit after being recommended by a friend. We weren't disappointed. The restaurant is nicely laid out and decorated. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. We will definitely return.

We have been using the Kassia since it first opened , and I can say it is easily the best Indian/Bangladeshi in the PO postcode area.

Had a lovely meal, kids felt really special with their mock-tails. A very friendly environment that offers delicious food. They were very accommodating for children and even though my son was not keen on his choice, the portion size allowed both children to share and gave us a take-away lunch for the next day! A great experience (5:30 on a Friday night) in a really delightful restaurant.

I go here every couple of months for a girlie catchup and always receive a very warm welcome. The staff are courteous, friendly and attentive. The food is exceptional. I always try something different and I am never disappointed, a very high standard. Their drink selection is good with some fab cocktails! Highly recommend.

Had a takeaway, service was quick. Food was very nice and a good place for a curry. It is pricey but if you pay cash you get a good discount which brings it in lie with other curry houses. My mum's only comment was she thought the naans were slightly too sweet.

Had a takeaway, good service, the food was ready when I arrived. Prawn sag was excellent. It's not the cheapest curry house but there is a discount if you order by phone and pay cash. I have eaten inside a few times and the cocktails are, delicious. Very friendly atmosphere

Had a great evening here. Well furnished dining room with a nice warm atmosphere. Food was of high standard and presented well on good China. Drinks selection also good, prepared behind a well appointed and modern looking bar. I'll definitely be returning.

First time dining here, we had a table for 6 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, staff are efficient, courteous and very pleasant.

Exceptional meal and staff excellent despite being busy. There were a lot of people standing just about everywhere and some sat around our table waiting for their takeaways. They moved for us to sit down though. It really kicked our evening off to a bad start as with Covid on the rise we felt unsafe.

Simply Amazing! After being let down by a very popular white pub in the village and treated appallingly, Kassia Denmead stepped in to save the day! Great food, young waiting staff excellent. Unfortunately we waited for a very long time for our main course. And when it did arrive we had another 10min wait for the rice and a couple more mains.

This is the best takeaway I’ve probably had, the manager ifte (or so I think he is) is an absolute credit to the team. The place has a very good 15% of cash collections placed over the phone which is great. Food is amazing, wouldn’t eat from another Indian based restaurant!! Definitely recommend

I work local and the staff always come in. They're always very nice and respectful.

Great quality food and very consistent. Only had one mishap with one of the items which was sorted and was given the item free the next order. The delivery fee is pretty high considering so many others offer free delivery for a minimum order value, so I now collect. Other than that, very good!

The restaurant was very busy when we arrived, but we were seated straight away. The staff were friendly and helpful. Service was very slow, it took over an hour to get our starters, but we had ordered poppadoms which kept us going, so not really a problem. The food was nice, but for our taste not that spicy, even dishes marked with a chilli seemed relatively mild. We will be back.

Ordered on the phone and told 20 mins, got to the restaurant and waited 40 mins! Appreciate its a Saturday but telling customers shorter times to get orders is not fair. The meal also had 'hard chips' which appeared to be reheated! Not impressed for a £30 take away!

What a lovely touch, a free meal and entertainment. It was an extremely nice touch to celebrate the first year of opening. My friends, daughter and I would like to congratulate Calum and his hard working team for last night, Sunday 24th October 2021. The food at Kassia Lounge Denmead was, as usual, fantastic and we would highly recommend it, the take aways are equally as good. We will definitely see you all again.

Fantastic place!! Had a table booked (the first time in 18mths!) for a work function. Greeted by the Manager/Owner straightaway, checked in at the door via the NHS app, compulsory masks until you reach your table. Although it wasn’t busy (weeknight) there seemed to be a constant stream of people in for take-out. The cocktail menu is amazing and caters for all tastes, as does the food. Customer service is, for me, 10/10 👍🏽 Definitely going to book again and would HIGHLY recommend. You won’t be disappointed...

Newly opened at the time of our visit. The restaurant felt covid safe thanks to table layout and staff all actually wearing face covering the whole time - not pulling them up and down all the time like we have seen at other restaurants. We were a bit disappointed when we found tapas was not available (unlike at the other Kassias) however we understand in the current climate. The food we had was fantastic, cocktails great and the staff couldn't do more to help. Booked up the next visit already.
