Bit disappointed after voting them 'Best fish & chips shop. 2 weeks ago ordered and paid for a pineapple fritter. Not included in our order. This week, ordered 3 Senior fish. Only 2 included. Server actually said "3 seniors". Wife had to return to get the third fish. Luckily, only 5 minutes away by car. Only one server tonight (Wednesday) Bring back the blonde girl who used to serve there. She was great.

Arfter hearing all the hype about this place me and my partner decided to try it First impression where verry good we got told there were no tables for 45 mins because it was busy. The system they use to call you for your table is brilliant We were served by a young lady who was very aggy. When I forgot to order a coffee, it sempt like a massive deal when I re asked her when she came back with are other drinks It took a wile for are food to come out with was understandable due to how busy they were When the food arrived, I had ordered the chicken eggs benedic. This was extremely dry even with the hollandaise sauce (witch didn't exactly have any flavour to it) My partner ordered the pancakes that were very disappointing, they had no flavour to them and also verry dry. They also tasted of old oil It's such a shame we have a bad exspiriance with the chandler's ford shop as we had hurd such good things I also tried to look on their website for an email to their customer relations but could not find one

Friendly little cafe hidden from the main area. We had tried to get into another of the town’s cafes but it was busy. Luckily we came across the Anvil on our way back to the car. The building itself is beautiful and very quaint. We ordered a Ploughman’s and a French onion soup. The soup was nicely hot and came with the requested gluten free bread as advertised. I have yet to find gf bread nicer than this and thoroughly enjoyed it with lashings of butter. The ploughman’s was plentiful with fresh salad garnish and lots of cheddar, stilton and gammon ham. The service was great and the food being brought out looked fresh and a good portion size. One to try if you’re in the area. There’s a nice little outdoor seating area for warmer days. We look forward to coming again.

Had the most amazing experience at no.60 recently, my young son who is an extremely fussy eater, had a melt down due to wanting sausages to eat. Unfortunately no.60 did not do them, but this did not stop the amazing owner, he went out of this way to make my son happy. He sourced some sausages for my son to eat and nothing was too much for him and his wonderful staff. My son was extremely happy and I was one very relieved mumma! Thank you so much for all that you did. Hulk gives several high 5's!!!

Since moving to Bishops Waltham I have found some lovely local shops and enjoy a wander around the HIgh Street, This Sweet Shop sadly in the exception !! I have taken my GrandChildren in there several times as the concept is great - a mixture of traditional old fashioned sweets in jars / chocolates and pick and mix = Plus ice cream . Sadly the experience is completely ruined by very unfriendly / unhelpful staff who are appear to be irritated by children ...... After our last visit I have decided that I am no longer prepared to put up with rudeness in order to buy sweets for the kids !
