Delicious coffee and lovely place to sit outside in the sun. The cafe is also dog friendly so you can bring your furry friend with you and enjoy a cup of coffee and some sunshine. I hope that more vegan options will be added to the counter, for now the carrot cake was the only one and it was really tasty so I’m definitely recommending it

Very unhygienic. Popped in for a light lunch. The owner came across as very arrogant with sharp answers to simple questions. We ordered two sandwiches. He proceeded to make them behind the counter picking all the ingredients with his hands, no gloves. Answered the phone took money from another customer and carried on constructing our sandwiches tearing the mozzarella with his hands. We will not return. Apart from his lack of hygiene he needs to acquire a more pleasant approach to his customers.

Delicious roast would have been enough to write a sterling review but by chance they also had a reptile man in, who allowed the children to pet this hairest guinea pigs I have ever seen! The Compasses, with roaring fires and bustling atmosphere, is the friendliest pub in the area. A perfect way to spend a Sunday.

I absolutely love Juliets. The moment you step inside, you're amazed by the sight of beautiful, freshly made cakes and salads. The décor is a delight — quirky and full of character, mixed cutlery, vintage teacups, and eclectic artwork gracing rustic brick walls, creating a cosy charm that makes every visit feel special. It’s a place you want to return to again and again — whether for a peaceful moment with a book, a catch-up with friends, or just an excuse to indulge in another slice of something sweet. A true treasure.

Fantastic evening spent in the cosy and friendly atmosphere. Excellent choices or small or large mealls. Jack was extremely knowledgeable when advising the different types of oysters and which sides/wine to have. We had Skate with new potatoes and dressed crab with salad. All food was fresh and superb quality by Chef 'Mack' . Definitely going again.
