Fine Grind in Tunbridge Wells

Delicious coffee and lovely place to sit outside in the sun. The cafe is also dog friendly so you can bring your furry friend with you and enjoy a cup of coffee and some sunshine. I hope that more vegan options will be added to the counter, for now the carrot cake was the only one and it was really tasty so I’m definitely recommending it

Came here for a quality speciality pour over, did not disappoint! Great selection of guest roasts, and the staff are clearly passionate about their coffee - and really went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our visit. Will definitely be back!

Mine and my friends go-to cafe spot! Always has amazing drinks and has a lovely atmosphere too. 10/10, definitely recommend!

Great coffee from Horsham Roaster (one of my favourites).

This place the staff are so rude and disinterested especially the Amelia one . It may as well be run by robots . It’s overpriced and dirty and dirty cups and plates everywhere . Not impressed

Nice lunch of bacon, halloumi and avocado sandwiches w salad and good coffee in a warm but busy venue. For a limited menu it would have been best if the lack of jacket potatoes had been signalled (on the board?) before we committed to staying, given the higher cost food options don't give great value amidst a cramped environment when busy

The coffee was great, and I really enjoyed the croissant and cookies we ordered. The ambiance was lovely, perfect for a chill and relaxing time. However, one thing that disrupted the experience was a staff member starting to clean the area, wiping down tables and moving chairs, while the shop was still open. It felt disruptive in a space meant to be calm and peaceful.

Fantastic coffee, was quite busy and a little cramped when I arrived and only got busier as I left so they must be doing something right. The oat latte was excellently made, took a tad longer than I expected however this was due to the number of customers at the time. The pastries looked nice and fresh too. Clean establishment and appears organised and well staffed

coffee particularly good. açai bowl was the worst ive ever had, the wrong texture completely. basically just straight liquid with a spoon. staff were miserable. the cafe is so poorly laid out there is absolutely no space to move inside. won’t be coming back.

Please do not waste your money on lunch here. Or at least not the plough man bowl we ordered this - a bit of a wait and then a burnt slice of toast arrived with 20 salad leaves and a slice of ham and some grated cheese from the packet. Absolute waste of money and overpriced at £12 each. Sadly the crusty bread we were offered was just a slice of run of the mill bread which when we asked for a new slice didn’t materialize. Previously lunch has been good here but this was truly awful.

Excellent coffee although quite expensive. It's £4 for an oat milk latte. It's also quite crowded and hot inside.

The coffee was nice, but the pastel de nata wasn't worth eating. Star ratings also removed because they charge extra for both decaf and alt (oat) milk (+90p).

We love this place, staff are lovely, service is great and it has a really homely atmosphere. Well patronised when we go on a Saturday morning. Coffee is very good, and the food is wonderful, especially the bacon sandwich! Pastry selection looks good, too.

It's a lovely little coffee shop in the heart of the Pantiles. The Portuguese custard tard was good with coffee. I will come back again to try their other food.

We visit this establishment on a regular basis especially on Sunday's. We visit Fine Grind for it's coffee as we like the taste however today we visited fine grind and my partner oredered a "Vanilla Oat Latte" and she was given "Vanilla Oat Chai Latte" so I popped the coffee back to the staff inside the shop and explained that my partner ordered "Vanilla Oat Latte" and is it ok if they change it. Well! I was looked at by a female member of staff with disgust and was told ok! In a very blunt manner! We have never experienced such poor level of service from staff before which took me by surprise. I hope we don't experienced this again.

A nice place to drink specialty coffee and eat a delicious breakfast

had heard good things from my friends, was a little busy when i went but still had plenty of seating.

Disinterested staff, cold over-priced sausage rolls. Just a poor experience. Lady serving us was more interested in chatting to her colleague and barely registered I was there. The sausage rolls we ordered had a decent flavour to them but were served cold with no mention of that or offer to heat them up. Really expensive.

I come here every once in a while and it's always great. The staff are friendly, nice atmosphere and the coffee is excellent. I thought I'd treat myself yesterday with a piece of carrot cake and it was one of the best carrot cakes I've ever tasted.

It’s hipster if you want that … never found it to be that friendly a place, or attentive to the customer. Perhaps I’m not hipster enough?

Stopped for a coffee whilst shopping and sat outside, lovely little cafe in a good location for people watching. Lovely big mugs and cute vintage spoons.

After living in RTW for some time, my Sister decided to try Fine Blend this morning. Whilst the place is gorgeous, I was incredibly disappointed by the staff. There were 2 x women working. One making the coffee and the other serving. Not one of them could muster a “thank you” or a smile. Whilst my Sister politely waited to be served, she was ignored and 2 x men who came into the cafe afterwards were served first. When she was finally acknowledged, the woman pulled a face at her when my Sister was a little unsure of the card machine. I was facing her and could see everything. To make matters worse, we couldn’t detect any coffee in the drinks we purchased. Very expensive for 2 x small cups of milk, all served by miserable staff who clearly don’t like people. I would never go in there again!

Though I would get a coffee from an independent shop. Got to be the worst coffee I have ever had. I won't be going back.

Awesome little coffee shop, exactly the type I like the most. It’s right on the High Street, close to The Pantiles. Cosy and friendly atmosphere, convenient seating with charing points, superfast wi-fi (170mbit/s+). I felt very comfortable. And that lovely smell of coffee - simply divine. I ordered a Cortado and their avocado on sourdough bread. Both delicious. Finished the at once. About to order some more. Friendly baristas. Smiles everywhere. This is a place I will be visiting again. Nick says - definitely triple recommended!!!

The coffee was so hot it had burnt the coffee beans, the size of the hot chocolate was a joke for £3 looked like a baby chino you get elsewhere for free! Staff were rude along with the management when complaint made!! Definitely would not visit again!

What a miserable experience. The person who took out money was very unwelcoming, barely spoke, not a smile. Took a long time for the coffee and cake to be delivered to the table (it wasn't busy). Both cinnamon swirls delivered to our table (£4.25 each!) were stale to the point of hardness. These were refunded without fuss but I noticed the tray of them were not removed from sale after I complained. Coffee was at least decent. But £14.30 for 2 black coffees and 2 dull (and stale cakes) is madness.

Used to be a good place but now they just serve burnet coffee shame

Great Buddha bowl. Sadly no smoothie bowls on the menu. They were quite busy and forgot the quinoa in my Buddha bowl but I’m still giving 5* because it was fresh and yum. Also appreciated them giving a heads up when there was a 20 min wait (clearly a popular place) for all vegans, the chocolate powder they use in the mochas is dairy free 👍🏻

Serves some of the best Coffee in town. Offshoot at the Forum for dog walkers and also now at the new Amelia Scott Library.

Amazing food, lovely place, great staff. The only down is that you can’t tip when you pay on card, which is silly considering the staff is doing all the work and hardly anyone is carrying cash these days.

The coffee is not bad if it's made in-house (bags of beans bought in-store lack provenance). Service is always a little bit detached at snooty, as if they're doing you a favour; little rapport is built.

I love the Fine Grind. Staff are nice, food is good, coffee is great. But if you're in a rush......Tell them, becasue it can take a bit of time to make a coffee.

Have been here previously & both times the drinks were really good. Had a lovely Turmeric gold today with oat milk, only reason I've scored 4 stars rather than 5 is because it was a little pricey.

What a shame, used to be a lovely place with a friendly environment. Sadly it seems to have gone downhill over the last couple of months - staff changes/ not so friendly or professional and this showed in the service on my last couple of visits, certainly at the Amalia.

Nice place, clearly popular. All the food was good, just not particularly inventive. Bread for the sandwiches was delicious, and coffee very good quality, I am told!

Favourite coffee place in TW. There are 2 in TW. One near the pantiles and one near the Library/museum. Great coffee, friendly service and delightful cakes and food.

As it mentions outside on a chalk board, "proper coffee" which it was! Cakes and sweets looked good, but didn't try any on our visit.

This place is amazing!!!! Super atmosphere and great staff. The breakfast is superb and if I could, I would have sat all day drinking their coffee. Can’t wait to revisit.

As well as providing delicious coffee, I was thrilled to host my wife’s 50th at their High Street location. The staff, the food and the attention to detail were all of the highest quality. We had an incredibly memorable evening in wonderful surroundings. Thanks to Will and Khalid for being such fabulous hosts. Also to Matt & James for being so accommodating and even buying a bouquet for the birthday girl. 🙏🙏

Place does look lovely, went here lunchtime with family. However the staff were a big let down. Kept taking loudly at how they hate customers who come there near closing time and generally bad mouthing their customers. Sad to see this, it was a big turn off.

One of my fave places to chill. Family run and community orientated. Friendly staff. Fab atmosphere. Strawberry Matcha is soooo good! And the cinnamon buns are delicious, especially if you ask them to heat them up a little! ✌☮🖤☯

I was charged £6 for an iced mocha (oat milk), checked the menu and other iced coffees with oat milk were between £3.50 - £4.50. I questioned it to a member of staff who told me that it was because the mocha has chocolate sauce.. £2.50 extra for chocolate sauce?!

Stopped by for lunch and coffee. The Buddha bowl salad was divine, the coffee one of the best I had and the lemon drizzle was to die for 😍

Coffee is actually good, but every single time I go in there there is some kind of problem, wrong milk, changing stipulations on the loyalty cards, weird attitude from service etc. I just feel if I ever fancy going there I know it’ll be a frustrating experience. Once I’ve finished this loyalty card I’ll go elsewhere. I don’t like having to question something every single time, makes me feel like an awkward customer which I most definitely am not. Don’t mind the odd mistake but it seems to be every single time.

Disappointing visit this time. Have been there several times and found it very pleasant but this time there was a long queue caused by till issues and inexperienced staff. I counted six staff in total but service was very poor with confusion on which customer had ordered what. Maybe a one off, will give it another try in the future.

Fantastic coffee! Stumbled upon this by pure accident and very glad we did. Finding a place which can make a good oat milk flat white is tricky and this establishment excelled! Delicious paninis as well and friendly staff. Great spot to drop into for a break from the day 👍
