Thanks to the Claremont team for hosting our Christmas event in one of their private rooms. We were well looked after as usual. Highly recommend!

First time there lovely out side covered area easy to get a drink and nice people

Nice relaxed pub to grab a drink and a quick bite to eat... Varied menu to suit a variety of tastes ranging from light bites (with dishes like sesame chicken Chinese dumplings, chickpea & aubergine with eggs, and mini truffle and parmesan arancini catching my eye) to more substantial main dishes like chicken milanese, steak, and burgers (as well as Sunday roast menu)... Very nice chilled atmosphere and large outdoor space round the back consisting of seating in both the sun and covered area... Lovely attentive staff so would recommend a visit there...

Too much noises. I don't know why people are shouting 😕 while taking 😒 🙄 Shisha is not available after 11 pm !

Decent burger and chips, good selection of drinks and garden area was nice. Dog friendly too. Would visit again when in the area.

Great outdoor space with areas under cover or full sunlight. This pub has used its car park to create a sumptuous space in a side road near the main train station. Reasonably priced drinks and heaving in summer evenings.

Brilliant pub - the outdoor area looks amazing and has a great vibe. I’ve eaten here many times and it’s always great food. The kids love it too! Would recommend :)

Perfect venue for our 40/50 gathering. Easy access by train/bus. The buffet spread was wonderful we fully recommend it. Staff plentiful, friendly and efficient. We had a wonderful afternoon/evening. Helen was excellent with our booking for 8 on Friday, she was really helpful and the team offered great service! Pub had a great chilled vibe. Fully recommended.

We had weekend in Tunbridge Wells, nice friendly pub.

Up class with a friendly and warm welcome. You can tell with the furnishings it's a more fancier pub than its previous predecessor but the welcome from the staff is warm; good selection of beers and ales.

Lovely place with a very comfortable indoors and a nice big covered beer garden out the back. Quite chrismassy inside but there you go. Staff were cheerful. The Guinness was excellent as was the Harvey's Sussex Best.

Burgers are good and birra poretti is decent but inside could do with a bit of a freshen up

The short haired older bar woman was very mean to her younger female staff verging on bullying. Really horrible to witness. Felt sorry for them.

Fantastic beer garden. Well worth a visit.

We came to this town just for little sight seeing and shopping and try to find nearest place to eat from car park. Pub look good, howevervthe service was very slow. We wait for more than 10 minutes to get the menu. Then wait another few minutes for our order. As its too much wait we decide to order food at once. And again food came a bit long. Its not even peah hour for lunch as we came nearly 2pm We already hungry and just wait. Glad that the burger taste good. Nachos taste good too. Hope the pub check the guest more often rather than chit chat behid the bar.

Stupid busy however the garden is stunning and staff are friendly

The 3 people working behind the bar were amazing. For a Monday night it was very busy and they dealt with the cocktails and the food orders and table service so quick. The food was delicious.

Need better lager. Used to be ok, but poor selection now - Amstel, Estrella and Camden Pale. Not great. Great outside space and good service still

Amazing burgers at a very fair price, large and very tasty portions! Friendly atmosphere and truly nice pub in general, will certainly visit again! 13/03/22 Our second visit to this lovely pub (we are not not local, travelled 80min for this experience) and it once again exceeded our expectations, such a welcoming and friendly place with amazing food obviously! We were even offered complimentary drink and dessert this time, which we accepted and greatly enjoyed - thank you very much Lucy and lovely staff at The Claremont! Will certainly be back again!

Great beer garden with heaters and a gazebo to keep you warm and dry. Despite my mate booking a table if 12 only an hour or so before arriving we managed to get in and a table for all of us. It gets very busy later into the evening so best to get there early if you're looking to sit. The food was brilliant, I got the Wallace burger which was crispy chicken, bacon, coleslaw, jalapenos, and sauce. One of the best burgers I've had in a long time, the chips were good but the burger blew it out the water. Drinks are average price for Tunbridge Wells, and they do steins of Hoffmeister for £10

The interior and the staff were pleasant. Ok place to stop for a drink before grabbing a train back. Drinks were rather expensive, and the TV music channels were pointless to air given the background music was from a different source. Then the chefs blasted out music of their own, which was quite irritating.

Really friendly staff and some great food. It was a little quiet when we went (a Thursday afternoon), but the waitress was great at remembering the orders and all the a changes we asked for. The burger I had was delicious and service was fast and efficient. I do hope to go back again in the future.

Had a work party here and Eliot catered to all our needs can’t fault at all the restaurant should be blessed to have a member of staff like him working here

The place looks the part. Large outside beer garden however frustratingly slow service. Wouldn't be rushing back for a 2nd round.

First time there since it changed hand. They've extended the garden which is great and all tables had enough space to feel private but still able to enjoy the atmosphere. Inside really comfortable, loved the decor. Brilliant evening, completely recommend it

Wildly overpriced wine, but friendly staff and nice big outdoor seating area where you can enjoy yourself and try not to die during a pandemic.

Wonderful food and relaxing sheltered outdoor area. Loved the Sunday roast chicken marinated in thyme and lemon! Delicious!

Went for evening drinks and the atmosphere was brilliant! Outside seating done to a high spec. Heaters all round, servers were very attentive all night. We ordered pretty much all the starters between the 6 of us and all of them were great. Then we all moved on to the burgers and once again these were amazing, best in Tunbridge wells in my opinion.

Really great atmosphere and the pub garden has been refurbished beautifully. I tried the New Yorker burger and it was superb 👌 The staff were very friendly and the service faultless. Well done!

I came on Monday when the pub re-opened and had a brilliant day, the staff all deserve huge recognition having had 4 months without being allowed to pull a pint / cook a meal. I am not associated with the pub, by my good friend is and I know just how tough it has been for them over the last year and the amount of work that had gone in to just be ready to open again. The system, of scanning a QR code on the tables is brilliant, perfectly compliant and as a customer so easy. To read a review placed on the first day saying someone had to wait for a pint is astonishing considering the changes that all hospitality venues have been through, at worst I had a 15 minute wait but understood that if every table ordered on their QR code at the same time, then that was to be expected. I’d rather be sat at my table instead of being in a 4 deep queue at a bar (we’ve all been there). So, from me and the friends I was with – well done, you all did so well after what was a really tough time of being closed. I’m coming back at the weekend for another of your amazing chicken and guacamole burgers and will probably have to have the wings as well this time!

Delicious hot dogs and great service!

So, let me start by saying that I did mention my grievance at the time we visited and my burger was removed from the bill with no questions asked. The customer service was fantastic, Jas, our waitress was very friendly, helpful and saw to us being very well looked after. The starters and everything but the burger meat itself was absolutely delicious. The starters especially had us fighting over who had the last bits!! We all four had burgers and all four found the meat dense and course and not very flavourful. Other than that a pleasant lunch and experience. We hope they do well after the renovation! Would definitely go back, but probably would just have some sides to share as a snack.

Been a number of times - Great service, burgers are amazing, and a very good atmosphere. Great on the covid front - a good one-way system, staff attentive, and helpful with hand sanitizer. Very quick to clean areas/tables that had been used - ready for next people

Excellent beer (Hells Lager is one of my favourites). One of the best garden pubs in Tunbridge Wells and amazing looking food.
