The best restaurants serving Default food in Pantiles and St Mark's Tunbridge Wells South East

Warm welcome, rather pushy waiter taking order, good service BUT food mediocre: my husband’s aubergine melanzana was not good he said, and his dish of the day pasta bland & tasteless; based on glowing reviews I chose the lamb, that was more less without flavour inc sauce & I’d been pushed to order extra veg by waiter and got a watery spoonful of spinach @ 6.50. Expensive meal and really disappointing

WOW what a place…can only describe as a local bar ..great vibe..with locally grown fruit and veg on sale to support our five a day….genius. Plus have the CLEANEST bogs on the Pantiles.

We have been twice for lunch (half price on week days) since we moved to Tunbridge Wells a week ago and the food has been fantastic, especially the grilled meats. I would particularly recommend the chicken and lamb dishes. The staff were all friendly and kept us well stocked with drinks and delicious fresh bread. It is a shame to see it so quiet and I hope more people try this out so it stays on the high street.

Fantastic sourdough pizza! Really nice menu, good wine list. We had a lovely warm welcome and the best bit was being allowed to take our small dog inside with us.

Sweet little cafe close to the pantiles. Very cosy, owner very chatty. We had two tuna melts (little side salad with nicoise was nice add-on) with a flat white and a soft drink. Came to just under thirty quid. Slightly pricey for my liking but then might be a Tunbridge Wells thing. Hence one star knocked off.

Beat place to eat, great service, delicious food and awesome atmosphere. All i can say worth to try even i was in rush.

I hired out Vale Vault for my birthday party at the weekend and it was brilliant. The space was perfect, cocktails were amazing and the whole night ran really smoothly. I would definitely recommend it for a private party.

Stumbled across this wine bar when we were looking for some pre dinner drinks. Wonderful cosy atmosphere and classy yet funky interior. Friendly and professional service and wonderful wine ( Alsace Pinot Blanc.. my favourite)! We will definitely be back and will make sure to eat next time too!

I had a Halloween birthday party here at the weekend and I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Elliot and Jess went above and beyond to make it special. Adored every minute and such good value for money. Drinks and wine list are great, location is ideal. We will be back again and again and recommend it to everyone! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The staff are friendly and welcoming and recognise regulars of which there seem to be many. The food is excellent and always impresses with plenty of choice and generous portions……….a great place to spend the evening.

Charming and delicious. Staff was very friendly and the food was incredible. Highly recommend the chicken satay skewers, the peanut lime sauce was delicious and the chicken was perfectly prepared, but really you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
