The best restaurants serving Default food in South Bucks South East

i ordered a cheese and mushroom omelette as i have a red meat allergy after making them aware of this, i got home and they had put bacon in my omelette very upset by this i could not eat any of my food because of the carelessness

Earlier today my partner Veronika gave an honest and heartfelt review about our experience at this establishment she wrote the following 'absolutely lovely pub with great service and staff ensuring a friendly and warm welcome but it must be said the staff there compensate for the lack of , that being said when my partner and I visited we were deeply dissapointed by the discomfort we experienced upon our time there we were forced to observe , the management staff particularly the Spanish female treating her team with very little respect she displayed poor treatment of the workers, no wonder they are understaffed, i would not want to be treated this way either!! its a shame as it truly a beautiful little village pub but please be mindful customers are aware of this kind of behaviour though it may not always be said it doesn't go unnoticed ! if this review may again be removed without response i will be directly contacting the owners of the pub.

This is terrible. They sell the sandwiches which are unappetising. Fourth time the same sandwiches. Won't be purchasing again?

We had a lovely lunch here this week, celebrating a very special birthday - a 93rd! The staff were very kind and attentive but not intrusive. Thank you to them for turning the music down when asked, not something that is always done even if you especially request it. The food was delicious and a great time was had by us all. A small warning the rich chocolate brownie is only for serious chocoholics! 2 in our party thought they were but found it almost (!) too much even for them. Clean plates all round! The candle in the birthday "girl's" pavlova was much appreciated. :) Thank you we will be back.

Agradable aquí y el personal del bar saben lo que hacen, así que es más caro que la bebidas estándar. Pero happy hours con frecuencia tan buena relación calidad-precio si compramos entonces. Encantadora mezcla de sabores diferentes, bien mezclados. Pero cuando no hay un vacío, y cuando hay mucha gente es llena, así es difícil conseguir el derecho de tiempo :) favorito antes de una comida!!

This is what I would describe more like a truck stop that caters for all the surrounding factories and bakeries. Italian run by the owner who is the chief and when is staff are off, waiter too. Good selection of breakfasts and lunches freshly made inhouse. Warm atmosphere with inside and outside tables and chairs, news papers and a good selection of hot and cold drinks. I when ever I call find it welcoming and very reasonable priced.

Nothing special food was very normal, I honestly don’t recommend the restaurant but also is not bad at all. I had a mushroom pie and in my opinion was dry.

Had another great meal here, Charlie (Chef) does amazing food. The quality of the food & presentation is top class. Staff are always lovely and so accommodating. The pub is a traditional village pub, very cosy with lots of charm including pleasant background music. All the dishes are great. Some of my favourites are the prawn & smoked salmon salad, veggie roast, fish & chips. This time my friend had the mussels and have to say they were the best she's ever had. The wine is always decent too. Would thoroughly recommend

Excellent hotel, super facilities, very clean, brilliant food, massive well equipped room and intelligent and efficient staff

Visited Bertram’s today with my friend for a light lunch. We both had tea and the most delicious Polish apple cake and custard. The garden centre is lovely but I’d visit again just for the pie!

Love visiting the Standard when I can, you will always get a dam good pint of the black stuff, nice chilled Guinness and to top that the chicken wings are the best.

I had the best time with my family . The lamb was superb Very warm welcome and friendly stuff, the venue is very clean. Sure will be back soon .
