Earlier today my partner Veronika gave an honest and heartfelt review about our experience at this establishment she wrote the following 'absolutely lovely pub with great service and staff ensuring a friendly and warm welcome but it must be said the staff there compensate for the lack of , that being said when my partner and I visited we were deeply dissapointed by the discomfort we experienced upon our time there we were forced to observe , the management staff particularly the Spanish female treating her team with very little respect she displayed poor treatment of the workers, no wonder they are understaffed, i would not want to be treated this way either!! its a shame as it truly a beautiful little village pub but please be mindful customers are aware of this kind of behaviour though it may not always be said it doesn't go unnoticed ! if this review may again be removed without response i will be directly contacting the owners of the pub.

I think the roasties were probably the best I've ever had (sorry Mum). I had the Chicken, my companion had the Beef. Both were cooked to perfection and accompanied by Peas, Cauliflower, Carrots, Gravy and of course a Yorkie. Ok, the Yorkie could have been a bit better cooked and the Horseradish a bit more potent but this was way above acceptable overall and we are very lucky to have this venue on our doorstep! Try it, sit near the open fire, taste the wines or the Real Ales and relax. You might not have room for a dessert but if you do, we can recommend the STP + Custard.

Called in for Sunday Lunch. A huge and warm welcome from the bar staff. Managed to secure a seat next to the roaring fire and settled in with a pint of Rebellion IPA. My wife and I had the Roast Pork which was delicious. My kids had a pizza to share. A perfect autumn afternoon :-)

A pleasant place to go for a meal or for drinks. Bar service here is friendly and the drinks are reasonably priced. The food is reasonable value for money and well cooked. Nicely decorated inside and plenty of space to park outside with Iver railways station only a couple of hundred metres away. Nothing not to like really.

Havent stayed here myself but live close by and see they have just renevated the place. Love the food from here, now even better with a new chef. Prices are decent and quality is even better. Lovely to get home cooked food at your house compared to the usual take aways.

Had a meal here for the first time having looked at it for a while. Was expecting slightly more for the price. There's a good menu with a nice variety. We found the service a bit slow despite being very quiet. The sizes varied, my mum's portion was okay but mine was very small especially considering most of mine was a large piece of cauliflower. Or food was warm but not hot. The desserts were definitely the highlight with better portion sizes and tasty. There was a nice feeling about the place but in my mind the prices are higher than needed.

The food was freshly cooked to order and hot. The menu choice is for everyone. The chef does wonders with the food
