The best restaurants serving Default food in New Romney Town Shepway South East

Just been to the curry lounge for the 1st time. Was not disappointed at all. The food was more than 5 star. Everything fresh and hot and sooo tasty. Will defo be using this on a regular basis!!!!

Something different & refreshing for New Romney town. A nice looking bar, plenty of drink options, good music & comfortable seating. When I visited it was mid week and basically empty, but still a good atmosphere. A nice young lady was serving our drinks, hello on arrival, goodbye on leaving. Reasonably priced, would visit again.

Nice food but very rude owner. I will never go back here to be treated the way we were. Not someone that enjoys their job or people. I don’t usually give bad reviews but I was disgusted.

Lovely coffee and cakes. Great prices. Cappuccino £2.60. Cakes £2.50. Clean pleasant surroundings. Friendly staff who often call me by name. Toilet clean and fresh too. My 'go t cooffee shop. I occasionally have a cooked breakfast and have always had great food. Fresh and tasty.

Stopped for a drink and decided to have some sea food. We've visited many sea food places but this one is by far the best. No gritty cockles and really tasty crab sticks. Friendly service and everything very clean. We will definitely visit again.

Tonight we ordered from the Wo Sing and sadly the food was a let down and underwhelming. The food was mostly bland and lacked flavour or seasoning. Examples are, the mushrooms and onions were tasteless and swimming in a very thin watery liquid. The egg fried rice was again bland and a bit stodgy. The worst part was the king prawn balls - they were soggy and very greasy. Not crisp and tasty like I am used to at my usual takeaway . The chicken chow mein was also quite greasy and lacking any authenticity. My son said the duck with pancakes was not too bad but he agreed that the majority of the order was bland and under seasoned. Also the hoisin sauce was so thick in the pot it had to be spooned out. The satay sauce was nice and the chips were as expected for chips. The Hong Kong takeaway on littlestone road Was closed for holidays so we thought it would be nice to try somewhere new. Bad decision!! The cash only is inconvenient but worth it if the food is amazing. This was not the case. I called after eating to let them know I was disappointed and had hoped for more understanding. The lady I spoke to was very defensive saying how they have many happy customers and it’s my opinion. She was not empathetic of our bad experience and her idea of customer service is “well we have been open 19 years and have followed our same recipes” and whatever other robotic garbage she replied with. Won’t be back and can’t wait to visit Hong Kong takeaway next time we fancy a treat. It’s like night and day in taste, customer service , price , and quantity. £42 cash paid and enjoyed 10%. The person who served me was very friendly and welcoming, shame about the rest of this experience.

Food good as was the price "BUT" - this, and the previous two lunchtime visits during March and Feb. offered really dreadfully slow service! This was also experienced by local friends of ours on other occasions. Regrettably this will be the last visit.

Delivery time on app was saying longer than expected, but glad it was earlier

Poor repair, toilets often out of use - and they smell. The outside of the place looks derelict and the inside is only a little better. Beware the car park as you will automatically get a ticket if there for more than 90 mins as I was with the lady that I care for. Being disabled she does not move quickly and can often refuse to move at all, but the people in charge of the car park don't care at all. There are many places to drink or snack in the town - why on earth would you stop here!

Food was bland and disappointing, though it looks like they are trying to make up for it with quantity. Seems the chef doesn't want to be there. If you order sausage roll with fries, it will cost you £9. If you order it separately, it will be £7. That is, unless they give part of your order to someone else and then tell you they don't have any more, even though you already paid and been waiting for 10 minutes for the food. Just go anywhere else and you'll have better rating experience

Went in for lunch. Chicken Goujons and wedges. Serviced by a lady who could not understand me. Could not work out the change. When I got to my destination 5 mins down the road it was all dry and not eatable I will not be returning and will make a complaint to greggs head office was not worth going back to the shop she could Not understand me. Should have known it wouldn’t be good all the bakes looked dry and burnt. Come on greggs sort this shop out
