The best restaurants serving Default food in Ashurst, Copythorne South and Netley Marsh New Forest South East

Great cafe, lovely owner who's always up for a chat even when she's busy. Reasonably priced, well made food. Had very nice bacon sandwich last time I was there. Highly recommend popping in if you are passing.

I haven’t been into the cafe but it looks welcoming and cosy. I actually had a flat tyre right outside and while I waited for the RAC to arrive, the owners (mother and daughter) came out to enquire whether I was ok. They were closed, but they invited me in. I wanted to wait with my car so as not to miss the RAC, so they brought me out a takeaway coffee, on the house, and logged my phone onto their WiFi. Such kindness is rare! I would recommend them for their thoughtfulness and care. The coffee was delicious by the way!

We stayed here last summer and it was lovely. However, having booked again for us and disabled family, our bookings were abruptly cancelled because they’ve decided to chase bigger money event clients. (Or some such barely legible nonsense) Really unreliable, greedy and unprofessional. Honestly, they don’t deserve the 5* review I left last time. Good luck chasing the big money.

This was unique tasting but I liked it a lot. I had the chicken dhansak which was delicious and unlike any other that I have had. All of the food was fresh and tasty. I am not a local but I would go again.

Delicious Pizza and Kebabs, family owned food shop, lovely people!

My husband and I both loved our stay here. The hotel staff were lovely and friendly. Tilly and Hallie in particular. Our rooms and the hotel were lovely and clean. There was a good choice for breakfast dinner and lunch. The food was delicious. The hotel is situated at the edge of the New Forest. The garden backs on to the New Forest with lovely walks. We will definitely visit again.

Best meal out ! Food was very good . Staff were friendly working hard so you weren’t left waiting for long although it was busy . We had four different curries on our table and they were all delicious. Thank you for a lovely evening ! Recommend!

Honestly the food is this pub was amazing. Real top quality, freshly cooked tasting food. Came here for the first time today with my girlfriend and will definitely not be afraid to return. The young lady who runs the pub is very polite and welcoming and she should be pretty proud of the little pub she’s got going at the moment.

Best scallops I ever had. The warm cookie dough was magnificent!

I've visited the Happy Cheese quite a few times over the past 5/6 years, unfortunately on our last visit the place has started to look abit tired and run down. The staff are always very friendly but the drinks we had weren't great and did put us off eating there! It's a real shame as it used to be so good.

Nice pub in the New Forest with a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are friendly and the food is good. Worth a visit if you are in the area. Prices are moderate though!

Really easy to find a disabled parking spot ..table by the window …prompt service ..I ordered the roast beef (lamb had sold out) My daughter had cheeseburger and chips with garlic bread young lad brought plate to the table… the dinner was lovely and definitely had proper roast potatoes and that horseradish sauce was excellent..as was my lime and soda (although I think I got lemonade…but it was delicious ).. two complaints 1…I had to leave my plate mid way to get at the bar to get another drink for my daughter bar was busy so my dinner was getting cold.. 2 the beef was very much overcooked for me ..but tbf it’s hard to serve up a med rare slice … but I would still order it again if that horseradish sauce was on the menu Yes we will definitely return Teena & Nikki xx

Can't beat there breakfasts or Sunday roasts absolutely brilliant 👍
