What an amazing setting, sit and watch the world go by.

Fantastic breakfast, veggie option was great too. Kept us going all day. Staff were lovely. Very clean and loos were nice too.

The welcome was first rate. I’m guessing that there was a little problem with staff communication. The young lady who served our drinks was struggling, as some of our party had to wait some time. The food came out at roughly the same time. We were a party of 21. Food. The mixed grill. You couldn’t fault the amount of mixed meats. Lamb and beef, I asked for rare and was told that it couldn’t be done as the meats were cooked in a “package”. The meats came out universally “well done. It seemed to me that they were fairly new to the business and training new staff at the same time. My wife and I, intending returning as a couple next year. Given the amount of effort they’re putting in, I hope they succeed.

Everything about our visit today was superb! Stunning view of Sandown Bay helped by glorious weather. Both of my friends had accessibility needs and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, nothing was too much trouble and genuinely friendly. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Am already planning my next visit. Go there, you won't be disappointed!

As visitors to the area, we picked this fish and chip shop from reviews. It lived up to expectation. The fish was freshly cooked and the batter crisp. Chips were plentiful and the service was welcoming and friendly.

The food is tip top best sandwiches on island. I have been going for 4 years and never had anything less than 100%

Lovely breakfast this morning. Perfect atmosphere with the front opened and reggae-ish music playing in the background. No complaints on the fry-up, exactly what we needed. Yes, you can probably walk up the road and get one slightly cheaper but what we received was lovely & not greasy, exactly how I like it. Thank you, we will definitely be back!

Stayed for 6 nights as part of a coach group. Room was large, spotless and very comfortable with a lovely view. Each member of staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Food was very good with huge portions. The pool is a great plus point, and it's only a short walk to the seafront. The evening entertainment was very good. Our whole group had a fantastic holiday and we send our thanks to Kim and all the staff for a wonderful week. We would definitely use this hotel again.

Having moved to the Island over 30 years ago one of the 1st Chinese I had was from the dragon pearl. We have eaten there many times and the food WAS always good. The restaurant WAS always busy, tonight empty. Didn't go for some time but the last time was about 9 months ago, food was poor. Having visited hospital tonight, on the way home decided to try them again. What a waste of money, food was tasteless, beef was mostly unedible(very tough) and sauce more like gravy. 2 thirds went in the bin. To top it all I was told 5-10 mins, was more like 3-4 mins in which time I had to listen to the 2 young girls talking about contraception ect. My advice to Dragon Pearl, time to rethink. Sorry.

The best homemade doughnuts I have ever tried, they were apsoloutely delicious, and such great value for the price, you could tell they were baked in store, me and my son devoured them.

I had the 12oz Vampire burger and it tastes absolutley amazing. As I sunk my teeth into the meet, the juice oozes–This is exactly what burgers should be.

So glad we found this homely and welcoming Poppins.Staff lovely ,helpful and friendly.Nice atmosphere,like having a coffee and cake with friends.

In all honesty if I could give 10 stars I would. My lot came here last year when on a short break and I didn't have one as i was a snob and didnt like the outside. However this year I didn't mess around. It was delicious. Just as generous portions, tasty grub and well packaged. The girl on the phone was polite and knew her stuff. She was easy to understand too. My 2nd pic was what was LEFT!

Lovely boozer. Great atmosphere and excellent prices, everything you want for a night out. Cheapest round in a week and actually cheaper (and better) than back in the north east.
