The best restaurants serving Default food in Steyning Horsham South East

Discovered this lovely little cafe in Steyning. Good coffee and a taste tuna melt left no room for cake so I took some home to try later. The new banana apple and caramel cane was delicious as was the chocolate slice. I’ll definitely visit again.

A delightful, authentic restaurant, serving delicious, fresh pasta. We carb loaded here the night before Brighton marathon, and had a fab takeaway pizza afterwards. Loved the totelloni and the prawn spaghetti. Friendly service. Lovely puddings too.

We went today bank Holiday Monday. We queued for a couple minutes and we're told we could be seated outside as there weren't any free tables inside. We didn't mind, just happy to be able to order food and drink. We all enjoyed our teas and coffees and also a fresh fruit drink. 2 had large breakfasts, which were very good, and great value too. 2 had scones and a cheesecake. All very delicious and service was with a smile from every member of staff we interacted with. The only negative was that we ordered chutney (extra 1.50) with the cheese scone, but didn't receive it. Still a 5 star rating. Would return again in the future. Thank you.

We'd planned to get fish and chips for supper, but unfortunately it was cash only and we only had enough money on us to get 2 bags of chips. Saying that they were delicious, hot, seasoned and fresh.

We were staying in Shoreham-By-Sea for the weekend and I came across this pub on Tripadvisor. I was a little apprehensive after reading some reviews and seeing the prices but I shouldn’t have been as it was worth every penny as everyone really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was perfect for a family Sunday Roast. Although it was busy the service was great and the food excellent. Between the family we had lamb, beef and pork and all were delicious. Personally it was the best roast lamb I have ever had! I would highly recommend this pub if you are looking for a great Sunday Roast.

Went for what was supposed to be a VE Day afternoon tea very poor Sandwiches on a plate covered in clingfilm and a plate of dry shop bought cakes homemade dry scones and a very small portion of double whipped cream not even enough for one scone (should be clotted) no plates had to ask for them and was then given paper ones we asked for tea for 3 and got presented with a pot for one that we had to ask to have more very poor show no bunting up just a tape playing wartime songs felt like refreshments after a football match I have emailed the pub to tell them how disappointed we were but have had no reply from them we even had to pay extra for our tea

We were strangers to Steyning and it certainly felt so when it came to be served. The staff treated the locals like royalty and anyone they did not know as outcasts. we purchased a couple of pastries which were quite nice and left quickly

bland expensive food , rice and poppadoms where ok but the curry didn't give that satisfying after taste . overall not great
