Just had a lovely chilli and jacket spud meal with my friend, really delicious and filling, would definitely recommend. The cakes looked lovely and yummy too

When looking for a stop for a tea and cake that wasn't a takeaway or pub, we found this bicycle repair shop which served a selection of teas and coffee, home made cakes and freshly made toasted sandwiches. Friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic owner. Highly recommended. Well worth a visit.

Great brevets steak lunch , one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. It was presented on a bed of spinach and a portion of potato lyonnaise. Well presented, promptly served but portions were a bit small. The steak was delicious but I personally felt a larger portion of potato lyonnaise would have made this a 10/10 . I left slightly hungry but thoroughly enjoyed this steak. Friends had a pottage of smoked haddock that they both loved.

we stopped for lunch on Saturday and the food was outstanding. We eat out a lot and thought we would give the place a try... I had panfried skate with tenderstem brocolli, sliced new potatoes and a veloute of mussels. It was superb as was the slow roated belly of pork with plenty of crackling and the cumberland sausage with creamy mash. We will defininitly return as soon as possible. Best meals we have had for months! Pudds was lovely and prices were reasonable. Service was excellent too!

The Green Man is what all pubs should be like, casual, warm and welcoming staff. We stopped of on the way past the pub and decided to give it a try, we were not disappointed , we both had the fish and chips, very nice food, expertly cocked and presented . Large portions.

Great pub for all .We went with family and friends ,it was warm and welcoming . The food was excellent great choice from main and children’s menu’s.The food was delicious and the portion sizes were great . The staff were were excellent,very helpful and great with the kids .We will definitely be going back .

I have used this bakery for a while for lunches and it has never disappointed. More than generous portions, great food, clean and tasty - worth the trip to Partridge Green as it knocks spots off the over expensive bakery in Henfield …. And far more reasonably priced!

This is our local Chippy and as such, they have for a few years been our go to for Fish and Chips, we are very happy - the Scampi and Cod are top notch, crispy batter and flaky yummy fish and very good portions too, my kids love the cheesy chips and battered sausage! and all at reasonable value to. Incredible atmosphere! Really great staff, friendly and approachable. A warm home from home feeling to the place. I was attending an art course nearby and it was such a joy to be able to come back at the end of each day and sit with the glass of wine by the fire, enjoy a beautiful meal in the restaurant and then sleep in such a comfortable bed. I'll be back! Margriet

Unfortunately we felt on this occasion the food really was not up to the usual standard - whitebait over cooked - chips not their usual crispy delicious standard - but everyone has an off day and we said it would not deter us from returning HOWEVER we found out as we were leaving that after 14 years of trading the Orchard is due to close at the end of September 😔 So sad as , as a family some who are no longer with us it was always are “go to” place for a good quality home cooked meal . So what ever the owners plans are for the future we wish them good luck 😋

Have been here many times for lovely light lunches with a pretty salad. However that has now all gone. Lunches are awful and badly cooked and served with. CRISPS. Tuna melt lunch was horrid. Will not eat here again. Why change something that was so nice.?

Huge portions of well-cooked, quality food at very reasonable prices with large mugs of tea. Biker friendly with bikes always in the car park. My wife loved the tomatoes, mushrooms and hash browns. I had so much I had to take home a doggy bag!
