Recently I had the pleasure of dining at Remy’s Kulinarya restaurant, I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The moment I walked in I was greeted with the smells of the Philippines. The restaurants atmosphere and vintage decor added to the charm. The food was generously portioned and left me feeling satisfying full. The spices were indulgent without being over powering. The food was delicious, I would go as far as to say exceptional.
I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Delicious, beautifully presented and clearly labelled vegan options. Inspired to try and recreate the coconut dhal at home - loved the added twist of the almond and raisin garnish!
Lovely service too ❤️
Really enjoyed dinner here on a Friday night. We're not very experienced in Sri Lankan food so don't know how authentic it was but it felt like it was authentic. It was all certainly very tasty and seemed like fresh good quality ingredients.
Visited Galleria on Saturday evening and was totally wowed!! A very inviting small restaurant with attractive lighting & a lovely buzz. We started our meal with a bowl of steaming hot mussels which were divine, & beautiful Rye Bay scallops on a pea purée….delicate & beautifully executed. This was followed by a stunning Fritto Misto with calamari, whitebait & large, juicy prawns & locally caught crispy sea bass with cauliflower purée, broccoli & kale…..both as good as it gets!! Wine by the glass was excellent….we tried a glass of Italian Pecorino & also had a superb Aperol aperitif. Overall, a superb experience….fantastic food, very friendly service, a very relaxing environment & good vale for money. 10/10
I continue to LOVE this place...they are so good at giving you exactly what you want...adding fried onions, avocado, making up a breakfast as you want it...Its more vegan frieldly than apparent on its menue...so I think they are losing a trick here and have told them so. Very dog friendly too. Parking is easy...and you get to look at the sea.
I have seen this cafe from the 1990's...had various owners...this is a match for the best of them.

Dropped in on a whim and were so pleasantly rewarded with cracking food and generous portions. The beetroot, apple and smoked eel salad was a stunner and we loved the perfectly cooked asparagus and garlicky spaetzle too. Really glad we went - recommend
Stumbled across this hidden gem whilst walking along the front. Fab atmosphere with cool vibe and really great coffee (peaky blenders). Had the crab fries which were delicious although they stop serving food at 230pm so made it just in time. Service was great and friendly.
Really great little business compared to the usual bigger names too.
We went for an early lunch as this little gem is a bit of a hotspot for local foodies. The French onion soup is just the most extraordinary thing. So much so I struggle to describe. The fresh sourdough is covered in oven toasted luscious cheeses that sink into your soup. A messy eat but my goodness it’s fantastic. I highly recommend it!
My better half had a mushroom bourguignon which was creamy and heartily seasoned. Plenty of fresh sourdough to mop up. We did take a chocolate Guinness cake home with us too.
It’s a small cafe for those who love good food, a secret community spot and makes great coffee too. If it’s busy, allow a bit more time. It’s not a fast food joint but it’s worth the wait!
