The best Thai meal I’ve had outside Thailand. That was absolutely delicious. Highly, highly recommended. Easiest 5 stars I’ve ever given - and beautiful setting, with lovely stained glass windows.

My favourite restaurant in St Leonard’s - which is impressive considering how much the local food scene has developed in recent years. Exceptionally good vibe, ambience and service but the quality of the food is the real selling point, with a range pan Asian meat curries as well as classic English foods. Will always recommend Remy’s when asked about local cuisine gems

Such a beautiful art nouvou building with beautiful windows. Mixed food from different countries. I opted for Philippine chicken which was all delicious except the chicken was overdone and very chewy. Impeccable service though, great atmosphere.

The food was absolutely amazing, I had the steak and it was so tender and by far the best steak I've ever had. They welcomed us, and were so kind and lovely. The restaurant is beautiful, all the little details made it even more so, and it was spotlessly clean. Highly recommend, if you've never been, you have to go!! Thank you for a wonderful visit!

I've been eating at Remy's for the last 7 years, and it's my number 1 place to in St Leonards with Arigato (Japaneses cuisine). I love the cuisine, the service is brilliant, and the atmospher is very friendly. I am going every sunday and they are popular for a good resaon. Recommended!

Fantastic to see home-cooked style pinoy food in such a beautifully ornate art nouveau building. The hospitality was second to none - reminded me of being at an Ate's house. I do wish they stayed a little closer to a more dominantly Filipino food menu (there was no pancit, but Thai and other curries) as well as having Filipino vegan/vegetarian options, but it's still highly worth it. They also have Red Horse beer! Book a table as it was packed when we went, but had the loveliest atmosphere.

A lovely restaurant offering Filipino fare: yummy if a little too tangy on the seasoning front for our tastebuds. Portions were very generous. The decor gave vibes of Parisian cafe society: colourful and a feast for the eyes without being too busy. Service was exceptionally warm and personable. We were very lucky to have snuck in past last orders :)

Went for dinner on Friday with the fam and all three of us absolutely loved it. Beautiful room, outstanding food and friendly, no fuss service. Plenty of new experiences to be found on the menu and it’s going to take another few visits to really appreciate it. Thankfully, that will not be an effort and won’t break the bank either. Excellent.

Visited Remy's for the first time for our wedding anniversary. The host had reserved a table in the window as requested, prompt friendly service throughout, cozy setting with attractive furnishings, interesting and varied menu, average pricing. We had tempura prawns for starter and salmon teriyaki for mains both of which were delicious. Rounded off with a homemade coconut vegan cake. At the end my wife said, "same time tomorrow" :-)

Tiny portions and massive price

Decent & different meal rather ruined by finding (later) that we had been charged £6.95 for 2 x drinks that WE had not ordered. A reminder to all to check out bills before paying/leaving

Absolutely incredible. Relaxing Jazz music creates the perfect atmosphere. Friendly staff and delicious food. My new favourite resturant in the south of the uk.

Spontaneous lunches are a little difficult when one is vegan, but I have wanted to bring my partner here for 4 & a half years.. cue now; no longer partners but still the best of friends, & we finally got there as a last minute lunch date. As usual, Remy was amazing. She came out with the menu which had vegan options, but also voiced ideas of dishes that could be adapted, & made vegan appropriate. Had we booked a day or two in advance, we would have had more choice, but for a last minute decision, there was absolutely no disappointment. Veggies, rice noodles, sauce to traditionalise it, & away we go! John makes the most perfect oat latte, too! Chef did a fantastic job, as always, & my veggie option was also incredibly tasty, served with a beautiful little salad dish & pomme frites. Remy's never lets me down for a good, inexpensive meal, & the ambience is perfect, with great jazz music in the background, & plenty of friendly chatter around us & from Remy & John. Thanks guys!

We stayed in St. Leonards with my girlfriend and we were looking for a local restaurant to have dinner. The review book of our AirBnB was full of nice reviews about Remy’s restaurant and we decided to give it a go… And we can totally recommend. The restaurant is small and cozy. Service was nice and staff were very engaging. We had duck red curry and a traditional Philippine chicken… amazing. If you are looking for nice restaurant in the area, definitely give it a go!!!

Visited Friday evening after a recommendation, absolutely wonderful in every way. Uncomplicated menu, wonderful setting and superb service. Will certainly visit again.

From the color scheme to the gorgeous, intricate trinkets everywhere, the decor and lighting in general were cosy and gorgeous to be in- this place is a hidden gem. My sister, who had previously been, had recommended me to come and it did not disappoint! The staff were super lovely, the food is amazing (my partner especially loved the lechon paksiw and incredible homemade chilly sauce, I had one of the juiciest pad Thai’s I’ve ever had!) The tempura prawn starter was also great and tasted fresh. Overall, would definitely recommend and would go again in a heart beat.

Very busy not surprising as the roast was delicious

We went for dinner to celebrate a 17th birthday. Two teenagers & two adults, who all have different tastes. As always, Remy & John were perfect hosts, & the food choices meant nobody was left unfed. My partner's pork dish sounded delicious, so I asked if it could be made without meat, & what I ended up with was cooked freshly, with tofu added. Truly delicious. My daughter had salmon, & our birthday girl had duck. It was a stupendous smell surrounding our table. The Christmas tree was up, & sparkling. The fireplace looked pretty, decorated, & the log burner was lit, & cosy & warm without being stifling or intrusive. We were the first diners for the evening sitting so were able to make the most of the restaurant to take some memorable photos. We all enjoyed a different dessert each, & were suitably full afterwards. All at a fantastic price. I love going to Remy's, & can't recommend her beautiful Filipino menu enough!

Tasty and enjoyble Sunday Roast. I had turkey (no chicken) and my friend had the pork. All nicely served by a friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Found this restaurant after using google. It was a fair walk to get there but the walk was so worth it. The owners were so welcoming, it had a very friendly atmosphere and the food was so tasty. There was very little wait for food after ordering it, it arrived piping hot and tasted very fresh.

Very beautiful place with good standard food. Had brunch (late breakfast, full English). Lychee juice also, a treat.

We had a fantastic afternoon there, Philippine food was excellent (chilli sauce HOT), Remy, John, and DJ, made the visit well worth while, Good food, good price.

Went for a spontaneous dinner one evening in the week. Remy & John were so inviting, & made my first visit feel really special. I can't tell you what I ate, but it was exceptional. Filipino, traditional, & catered to both my meat eating companion & my plant based diet. The food was delicious, & the ambience was pleasant with lovely calm music in the background. I didn't use the loo, so can't mention that, however we were treated like we were the only customers in there, even though it was fully booked. I was so pleased to finally go there as so many people I know have eaten there. I cannot recommend Remy's enough, & can't wait to go back there.

My partner and I were visiting Hastings and were lucky to come by Remy’s. We had the lunch deal of tangy pork and thai green curry. Both blew us away, so so tasty :D The service was also great, everyone was very kind and welcoming to us. The restaurant itself has such a lovely atmosphere, we would recommend to anyone!

If you like authentic Asian food, this is the place for you.I highly recommend their boodle (platter), it has rice, pork , chicken, fish, shrimp, and calamari. Great service, friendly, clean and good ambience.

The perfect dining experience really: wonderful food, friendly and professional service, beautiful art nouveau premises with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. There were eight of us dining, four of us vegan and there was plenty of choice including gluten free options. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Remy’s for any occasion and suggest you book to avoid disappointment. My partner and I will certainly be going again when we get the chance.

We had an great experience - all the food was delicious and the mango cake for our birthdays was amazing. So accommodating and welcoming to our group.

Great food we had the fish pie with garlic bread was fantastic and a fast and lovely service. We also had a slice of mango cake for pudding, which was recommended and was delicious. One of the best cakes I've eaten would definitely recommend eating here very good food.

Very good food and relaxed service, even found a new beer to try. They were accommodating of the fussy child and the rest of the family were happy with the proper menu. Not sure I would have the Adobong Manok again but glad I tried...

Absolutely wonderful restaurant with great hosts. Went for dinner on Saturday night after reading good reviews and it did not disappoint the ambience, food and service was all 5 star. Hosts were wonderful and made us feel very welcome. Apologies to Remy’s husband who’s name evades me probably due to the several ale’s I drunk during the course of the day. But thanks for a great evening and also helping us with one of the songs that was playing in the background was actually the theme to Robinson Crusoe, which at the time was of great debate. 😃
