Delicious, beautifully presented and clearly labelled vegan options. Inspired to try and recreate the coconut dhal at home - loved the added twist of the almond and raisin garnish! Lovely service too ❤️

Popped in for Mint Tea and stayed for the Lamb Tagine which was absolutely delicious!

Wonderful little lunch on beautiful George Street right in the best part of the Old Town. Delicious Moroccan food, the lemon chicken tagine was delicious, very friendly service and cute interior. Little gem.

Lovely small place that seems to be run by an authentic family. Food is delicious. We tried the baba ganoush and goat salad, these are not huge and the price is very similar to London. The main dish was the spice lamb tagine with chickpea, at first it looked small but it came full of big and delicious chunks of lamb. Ive had enough and we sent around £20 each, no drinks. It's a warm and aromatic dish, well prepared.

The food was fresh and delicious, especially the stuffed vine leaves which had a particularly falvoursome lemony oil on them, the place is clean and attractive, the service is warm and friendly (she even hung up our wet coats for us so they didn't have to drip all over the floor after a particuarly heavy downpour) and we ate every mouthful. The Turkish Delight is really special and the coffee,which at first I found too strong to drink, really grew on me after a few sips and I began to appreciate and enjoy the intense and fragrant flavours. The menu isn't huge but what's on offer is home made and really tasty and there are good vegan and vegetarian options. I highly recommend.

What a fantastic find in the old town if Hastings. Only a small place but they do have some tables downstairs too. The restaurant is very authentic and does NOT serve alcohol as it is Muslim but you can BYO. The tagines were to die for and the Baklava was delicious.

Walked past here today, and could smell the cooking. Decided to pop in for a bite. And so glad we did!!! I'm a chef by trade and this was one of the best Baba ghanoush's I had. Tasty and smokey' and homemade! The wraps were lovely as was the homemade lemonade. Service was superb and the lady's working were fantastic. If you're in the area, this is the place to go! A must!

A fantastic little restaurant. The food is homemade and absolutely delicious, very reasonably priced as well. The restaurant itself is very cosy and the service was faultless.

The food portion was too little a normal person wouldn’t be full with it. The rice serviced in a little pot rather than a plate. The money we paid was not worth it. The area is too small and barely you can walk, the staff however are show respect. If this is your type of restaurant go for it.

Tbh, I only found I hadn't finished my review, when I was posting another, and it was about a year ago that we visited! My memory was it was overpriced and decidedly average in quality, compared to one offering similar food, near where I live in London...

We stumbled upon this place while walking through Hastings’ Old Town and I couldn’t be happier that we stopped. We had a quick lunch of falafel wraps, baba ganoush and fresh mint lemonades. It was lovely, well presented and tasty food. All freshly made and great value. It was perfect and I will certainly be back.

This place has really gone down hill since it was taken over. We have been in a couple of times and each time it's like we were intruding on a private function, with the staff and their family / friends sitting chatting secretively in the corner and a really unwelcoming atmosphere. Won't be going back.

The best food I've eaten outside of Marrakesh. Absolutely sublime!

The best Moroccan food I've come across, had the Lamb Tagine last time this time the Lemon Chicken Tagine

What a lovely restaurant, incredible food, the lamb was so tender (I had lamb & apricot tagine). The babaganush was also excellent. BYOB , so you bring what you like. Can't wait to go again! 😋

The spicy lamb tagine was lovely and the service was friendly and timely. The Turkish delight with the bill was a nice touch too. However, the rest of the food felt overpriced. Wraps were tasty but overpriced for £15. We order the humus starter and the prawn starter (see photo), both were disappointing for the price of c. £8 apart from the pitta bread that came with the humus. Felt like I was paying London prices but getting nothing special for this.

Lovely little restaurant serving authentic Moroccan food. I had the special which was a lemony vegetable tagine served with couscous and it was delicious! I also has the orange cake which was soaked in a rose water syrup with pistachios, also amazing! Highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be making a visit again.

What a beautiful friendly restaurant, I went with four friends on a ladies night out, when we arrived we was made so welcome and was shown to our table, they introduced themselves had a chat with us then took our drinks order, i had the moroccan lemonade it was heaven fresh tasty and refreshing, my friends had the Berber tea and the rose tea, they took our orders for dinner explaining everything to us, all but one of us had the tagine and my cousin had the soup, it was bubbling hot looked and tasted fantastic the lamb melted and plenty of it. We had a mixture of deserts and again was extremely delicious. We then had Berber tea and coffee. I have never ever been to a restaurant that has made me feel so welcome and been shown so much hospitality before, it truly is one of those restaurants you want to visit time and time again. The owner bless her she was so lovely so a big thank you to you all for making our night out special

I had carrot cake and mint lemonade for Christmas lunch. Service was excellent the cake was very nice and the mint lemonade was exceptional.

Had a lovely birthday lunch with two Friends, food was excellent, waitress was attentive. Fatima was an amazing proprietor, cook and host. Atmosphere was lovely ( apart from us being the loudest table, oops!!) If you’re in Hastings, this place is a must , pleased to find out that there are also tables downstairs. Incredible food! Delicious Smokey babaganoush! Hummus and lamb tagine followed by exceptional baklava. The baklava was so good I had to buy more to take home for my girlfriend who said it was the best she’s ever had (it’s her fav desert). Can’t wait to go back, thank you!

I regularly visit this place and I can’t recommend it enough. The food is tasty and good quality and has that “home cooked” feel and taste. The atmosphere is enchanting and the host is super friendly and welcoming which make the whole experience very pleasant. A piece of Morocco in the middle of Hastings old town.

This was a fantastic restaurant and the claim to being authentic Moroccan food felt well justified. Really tasty food served with great courtesy and friendliness. We felt welcomed and looked after. These have to be the best falafel wrap I've ever had anywhere in Europe. Simply sublime. Moist, tasty, just the right balance of herbs and spices, if you want a tasty and healthy lunch you can't visit Hastings without trying them. Soup is excellent too.
