The best restaurants serving Default food in Town Epsom and Ewell South East

Nice staff but a well dodgy place.

Lived in Epsom 5 years never been here before tonight. Great service from Mendes, excellent food - my wife had ham and chicken pie and I had a lovely pork chop. Great beers to boot, thoroughly recommended. Apparently the oldest pub in Epsom going back to the mid 1600’s. Just a lovely evening. Thx Mendes, thx Ye Old Kings Head. We will be back!

The coffee I had was one of the worst I’ve ever tasted. When I politely asked the barista if I could exchange it, they responded with an attitude, telling me I shouldn’t describe the coffee as “horrible.” Instead of trying to understand my concern, they became extremely defensive. In the end, I just asked for a refund. The customer service was disappointing, and the barista’s behavior toward the staff came across as condescending.

Myself, husband and 2 kids went as a last minute little find as we were staying in the area for Chessington. Thank goodness we found this place! It was absolutely incredible. Big portions, delicious flavours and helpful friendly staff. Please can you consider opening a restaurant closer to our home town (nr Bath).

This place is fine. My only feeling was it felt a little like a production line type restaurant. Its not so cosy as most places and that matters to set the scene. But this was fine with me as it was an a last minute stop and needed to be quick which it was. The food was good and service, quick and friendly. I would have give it 5 stars if the mushroom risotto had more taste. I have had very good ones and this was middle of the spectrum in ratings.

I had the pleasure of staying at Premier Inn Epsom recently, and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience particularly because of the outstanding service provided by Arslan. From the moment we arrived, Arslan went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable. His warm and friendly demeanor immediately put us at ease, and throughout our stay, he consistently demonstrated kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care for guests. What stood out the most was his humility and professionalism. He was always ready to help with any request, no matter how big or small, and did so with a calm and positive attitude. Whether it was offering local recommendations, helping us with room queries, or simply checking in to see how we were doing, Arslan made us feel truly valued as guests. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated to providing excellent customer service, and it genuinely made a difference in our overall experience. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-located, but it was the service especially from Arslan that elevated our stay from good to exceptional. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Arslan for his hospitality. His presence is a true asset to the Premier Inn team, and we’ll certainly be returning in the future, largely because of how well we were treated. If you’re staying at Premier Inn Epsom, I hope you get the chance to meet Arslan, you’ll be in great hands!

food and drinks were cold but this ain't the first time ileverytime I order for a time for my drinks and food to be delivered they are always cold

Ruth provided the best service during our booking working both the bar and the ice cream stand. There was a busy bar next door so it was non-stop serving. Platters were delicious from Asia Kitchen and Kusina. Can’t thank Ruth enough. Will be coming back for sure!

It's just had a refurb. Basically the same but with some fresh paint.

Food was good 5 stars hot and sour soup was not good. Rest of food was good . Got 1 free beer for are wait .

Good selection of beer and inexpensive price

Ate here for dinner. The server appeared new and couldn't advise on the menu. My dad ordered the olives to start which were delicious. He then ordered a chicken dish that was tasty but tiny. He was still hungry when we left. I started with the grilled king prawns. I only got 2. Plus a few rocket leaves. They weren't worth the price for the size. I then had the crab ravioli. The pasta itself was tasty but the sauce very bland.

This was the worst takeaway we have ever had! The food was tasteless and it looked nothing like the photos. Not to mention that it was cold and the portions were tiny. I cannot believe we paid £45 for this....
