Used this take away as my usual one Lucky 5 were on holiday, read the reviews and thought it must be ok, was I wrong food very bland tasteless very disappointed 😡

Ordered for the first time today. The food was really good. Loved the dumplings and crispy duck. Large spring rolls also were very tasty - we can’t often find these so very pleased!

The food was very tasty and good sized portions, not greasy like other Chinese Takeaways but I thought there might be a little more chicken in the Sweet and Sour dish but otherwise good and will be back.

By far the best Chinese takeaway In the area! super clean and light, woman taken the order was super polite/friendly, delivery was fast and again very polite. I thought takeaways like this was a thing of the past. All round pleasure.

2 Nov 2022 - Back in the day, the kitchen was 'open' so one could take comfort that hygiene was paramount. Fast forward to autumn 2022 and post pandemic, there has been a change in ownership. Shutters at the counter have been installed and customer communication is through a grill similar to a visitor suite in a US penitentiary. I wouldn't mind but in my view the quality of food has declined.

Was brilliant food and the delivery man came in the snow and was quicker than they said ! Even got free vegetable spring rolls. Very pleased

Just ordered for the first time as we heard good things about them. Turns ups nearly hour and half after ordering and don’t even get what we ordered. Chicken balls may as well been cooked in water they where that soggy. Definitely will not be going here again very disappointed

It is a takeaway so no atmosphere but the food is always good and value for money

First time order. They didn't have the vegg regular sized rolls, only smallx8 in a bag. Not very nice, no vegg in them, just rolled up deep fried dough. Yuck. The food came completely cold. Must have been last on the delivery route. Would not recommend.

Nothing to shout about. Average food. Only went there as my regular chinese was shut. Had a take away but found one item was missing. Had to go again to get it . Preferred cash payment !!!

The food I bought here was absolutely delicious. I usually buy Chinese food from China chef or China spice. But I thought I’d buy from Too chef for a change and the food honestly has so much flavour! My personal order is the beef fried rice with extra vegetables with a top of chilli oil. extremely happy with the lovely customer service as well!

This is my favorite chinese takeaway in epsom, i’m vegetarian and they do the best sweet and sour tofu, they’re super affordable and have very friendly staff. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Very nice staff, quick service, noodles and rice were tasty! crispy shredded beef could have a little more crisp but when I asked next time they were more than happy to do that! definitely will be using again

Delivered on time and food was hot and delicious. Can’t believe we have never ordered from here before. Such good value for money and they even gave a free portion of spring rolls which was a great touch. Would recommend the Kung Poa Chicken and Salt and Peppa Chicken. Will definitely be ordering again!

We ordered on the phone and the food was ready for collection in about 10 minutes. Everything was very tasty and not oily at all. Portions were generous and with great value for money. Staff super friendly, we will definitely ordered again!

I have been going to top chef for years and was always happy with the food, last couple of times I have been the food was not very nice, ordered the special fried rice and it was mushy and bland, did not recognise the staff so I presume it must have been taken over,not up to the great standard it used to be, found a new one now, I wont be using top chef again until the food is back up to the old standard

I have been coming to this Chinese takeaway for two years now and I always found the staff to be friendly and polite...Up until about 2 months ago when the restaurant was taken over by new staff, who I found to be quite rude. A couple of times a week, I go in to order plain boiled rice (as I have recently become a vegetarian.) Only to be told I am no longer allowed to order it on its own and I must pay for another meal along with the rice. Keeping in mind that I am also a student and I think paying £2.80 for a portion of plan rice is enough money anyway. However, it's the snobbery that's the main issue here and I understand that to some people ordering just rice on its own may be a little strange. From now on I will take my service elsewhere as I am not using this Chinese again. Overall appalling experience and people should be able to order what they want as they're paying, whether it be a big or small amount.

Wanted to have my birthday dinner from Thai Crystal in Ewell, unfortunately it is closed Tuesdays, so I ordered from Topchef, which was rather disappointing.

I have ordered a few times for Top chef, but sadly the last 2 times have been very disappointing. The food came warm didn’t seam fresh at all. It was a shame that I spent money at this take away. Unfortunately this was my last trial. Disappointing.

We Have been eating from here for around 8 years and were always happy with our meals. Sadly the last 2 meals have been really disappointing. We are wondering if maybe the staffing/ownership has changed or less quality ingredients are being used. Chow mien had a really unpleasant taste so avoided this time and got a set meal for 2, all of which dishes were disappointing. :( will probably not use again now.
