The best restaurants serving Default food in Bursledon and Old Netley Eastleigh South East

The people are all competent and friendly. Nothing is too much for them. It’s a happy place to be..plenty of, room and busy but no long waiting times and the food is second to none! I recommend Lowford Café to all my friends and family. Simply the best!

There on opening , greeted, stood there and waited 5 members of staff saw me and no acknowledgement or attempt to serve, given first in should have been immediate attention??

Highly recommend!! Impulsive call in for food before a long drive back to Nottingham and I certainly wasn’t disappointed. Perfect crispy fish and chips with yummy spicy curry sauce in a pot, service with a smile and friendly advice on where to go to enjoy my chips alfresco, thank you ☺️ Will definitely return when I’m back in the area.

Food was expensive, which is fine if quality is high, but it wasn’t. When feedback was given to manager, she was passive aggressive/rude. She told me I should fill in a feedback form, but with no apology. We were told that head office won’t listen to her, the only way to change things will be if they hear from us. For me, that’s not how you respond to feedback, maybe in McDonalds, but not in a pub such as yours. We left feeling so disappointed. It ruined my son’s birthday and we’d spent nearly £200. So disappointing. We will never return and have already told friends and family how disappointed we were. Update: Thanks for your reply, however our perception of the manager’s attitude/demeanour was very different to your justification here. Our opinion was that she (you) was dismissive and not willing to accept responsibility, it was just easier to blame head office. Again, in our opinion, a really good example of how not to deal with negative feedback. One point I should have added in the initial review, was that the young lady who served us for the rest of the evening was excellent, both professional and highly attentive.

Omg. Taken here for mothers day. First visit wanted to go for ages. Karen was our server very pleasant and explained the menu.Best steak I've ever eaten. Travelled from Portsmouth worth it though.Will definitely return for special occasion.

Came here for a Mother’s Day lunch which was delicious. Gabbie looked after us so well, and was really great interacting with our little boy. The rib of beef just fell off the bone which was so tender! Would def come back. Also a little treat was given to me as we left as a little Mother’s Day gift which was a lovely treat!

We celebrated my 67th birthday and retirement her on the 8th March 2025. We were a party of 15, made up of 10 adults, and 5 grandchildren, we had a fantastic evening. Everything was perfect from start to finish, food was perfect, our waitress was Gabbie, a lovely,friendly young lady, she was excellent, the bar staff perfect as well. The whole evening was very enjoyable, without any hiccups at all. We will definitely be back again.

The most appalling service. An hour and a half until lunchtime meal was served.much of the menu was not available. Didn't bother ordering another drink or dessert...just 2 guys trying to do it all with probably 30 guests. Shocking. GET SOME STAFF. Waste of a lovely venue. Never again until service improves vastly.
