Visited here just earlier today for authentic British BBQ. Forget all that rubbish you see on Man V Food, it's all pretend - this is the real deal. I had the 1/4lb Moo burger with 'slaw' which I suspect was the posh stuff from Aldi, so a proper treat. The hedgehog wings seemed a little flat, but the flavour was awesome. All in all a fantastic visit, and the super chef welcomed us as if we were sitting in his own garden shed!

The doorstop sandwiches are genuinely unbeatable. The best sandwiches you can get. I honestly cannot recommend enough, and the staff are absolutely delightful, too!

Stoneham LaneWe held our rowing club's 150th Anniversary Dinner at Sherwoods Restaurant for 220 people and would highly recommend the venue for a fantastic event location. Cara and her team could not have been more helpful in the run up to the event, during set-up and throughout the evening. A light, bright room was perfect for the dinner and the bar was a very good size for a large crowd and well staffed. Food was great and well presented. We are looking at the venue for more events and would highly recommend Sherwoods Restaurant for large events.
