First time here and it was amazing Karen was amazing, her recommendations were 100%

Laura was an excellent host who attended to all our needs and even surprised us with a nice celebration plate.

Excellent customer service by Lisa. She was very attentive and looked after us. Our Grill Chef Paul cooked and excellent steak for me. I highly recommend this restaurant.

One of us had steak or dinner and it was excellent. Our server was also excellent. One of us had the veggie burger and it was unpleasant to eat. I appreciate that this is a steak house, but in accompanying my partner for his birthday, I was disappointed with non meat options. The restaurant is comfortable and we were seated somewhere warm, as requested, thank you. However, other than our server, all other staff were indifferent and the restaurant and toilets are not particularly clean. If areas we can see are not clean, it makes us wonder about the kitchen etc.

Me and my partner went for Valentine’s Day and had the most amazing time. The service was quick and everything came out quickly. Karen and sue was excellent with making sure everything was okay and checking up on us, just absolutely lovely people. Food was amazing and everything was in order.

I'm still incredibly full from last night. My fiancé and I struggle to find good quality food so when I say the food was good, I mean it was excellent! Lewis (our waiter) is a credit to your team. He was attentive but not too much and made us laugh with every interaction. Thank you for a perfect evening

Loved it! Went for my birthday meal, the restaurant was full and we had a large table so was expecting a bit of a wait. But food came out together, on time and tasted great! Our waitress was lovely too and will definitely be returning soon 👌

I had a lovely 40th birthday meal with my mum at miller at carter last week. The service was impeccable and the food was delightful. Lovely atmosphere. We really enjoyed our self.

Couldn't cook the stake how I asked. It's not not hard to cook medium and both times came dare and bloody.

Server was very friendly and helpful, food was amazing. Would recommend.

Went for an evening meal with my immediate family and other relatives. Seated promptly to our table and offered the various menus. Food and service was good. Waiting staff very friendly and polite. May been seen as expensive, but you get what you pay for here. A very enjoyable visit. One point on the menu - disappointingly no longer offering sweet potato fries or the apple pie.

came out to eat with wife and grandkids. Had the sticky chicken, steak sandwich and apple pie from lunch menu. Very good food and value for price

My first time at Miller and Carter, an absolutely wonderful experience. Our server Alree was attentive and friendly in her service. I would of put 5 stars for the food but my cheddar mushroom starter wasn't very warm, I didn't like to complain so just enjoyed them anyways.

This is brilliant i shared the butchers block and i got 3 steaks and bone marrow it was super nice would definetly go aghain although the staff were a bit slow when it was dessert

I had the 160z rybeye 30 day dry aged hand picked? Was over cooked dry and tasteless. I believe it was probably cooked and reheated. I was very disappointed as was my first visit. My partner had the 80z fillet same thing tasteless and over cooked. I would compare it to a bad harvester meal. I did let the waiter know and he took £6 off my £106 bill. A slight joke. Not sure I would return

Food was nice, probably slightly over priced for the quality but not massively. Only real bad point was tables etc weren't very clean, chairs had crumbs etc on, I'd just expect them wiped between each service but clearly weren't.

We come regularly on Sat evenings and the food is usually good quality and well cooked. On Sat 8 Feb all four of our steaks were not hot and the meat etc was not up to the usual standard. Service seemed lack lustre with pre starter not arriving correctly. They were quick to knock something off the bill but the experience was very poor overall. I suspect key staff (manager/chefs) might have changed. For the price there are places to get better a better dining experience for less.

It was my 77th birthday, so a bit of a treat for us. An excellent experience. Plenty of parking to start with. A bit slow to be seated, greeter was occupied elswhere. Not too long though. Then, attended to by Lauren. A great waitress, cheerful, polite and attentive. Excellent product knowledge. Starters were a much larger portion than expected, and delicious. The rib eye steaks were great. Desserts also health portions, and also delicious.

Food was OK apart from the portion size of the Mac and Cheese. Mine was gone in four spoonfuls. Cleanliness could be improved, the lamp on our table was filthy. The table was very unstable so the waitress folded some napkins and put them under the base but it didn't help. She then smashed two glasses together when clearing the table before we ordered, one shattered and pieces of it went over my wife. She only picked up the pieces she could see in front of her. Not a great experience at all.

Food was fantastic when it turned up. One of the members that's was with us had to leave with out having there meal as it to so long but other tables that came in after us where getting there food before us .we have decided that we will not be going there again for a long time as there was not even an apology from any of the managers on duty very poor

Enjoyable mid week date night. Very surprised by how busy it was for a Tuesday but it created a nice atmosphere. Our server Lisa had a really busy section but made sure us and surrounding tables were all happy through the meal, and took drink orders really quickly. She worked really hard. The food was really tasty and very enjoyable, cooked by Paul. We had some trouble with a gift card but Lisa was really helpful with the information

I wouldn't recommend Southampton Miller @ Carter at all. There always get something wrong. It's not Miller@Carter I have a problem with it's this establishment. It's lacking behind the likes of Swindon.

A lovely meal. The Steak is great - melt in the mouth. And the onion loaf is really good, but I'm not quite so keen on their "lettuce wedge" standard side - seems like a bit too simple and a cop out.

Nothing but good things. As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted with a smile. We took our seats and were served by the lovely Lauren, who was very helpful. Drinks arrived quickly, and the food arrived at the table in a timely manner, looking delicious. The starters were flavourful while the mains were looking great and tasted amazing. Dessert was held back long enough for the previous courses to settle so we could enjoy the amazing tastes for what was to come. Definitely will be going back in the future 5⭐️
