Very glad I discovered this place.Huge choice of meals,and good cake.

Poppins Eastleigh is rubbish honestly. Rude stuff and instead of a ham omelette I ordered. The stuff just put 2 slices and ham. No egg no omelette made. Imagine paying £8:45 for 2 slices of ham like am I crazy. Told the stuff and they literally didn’t care. Don’t eat or order from there if you ask me

Food quality is not good undercooked eggs fatty bacon hardly any meat soggy toast probably give you Salmonella as slimey egg whites not cooked half arsed rude staff over priced it’s really gone down hill won’t be coming here again my advice go somewhere else

The food is tasteless as if frozen Cosy cafe market street is cheaper They are pleasant I was in Eastleigh When I was 12 yrs old now disabled Half blind hernia lower back aches I'm the piano man for RHP pianos The staff at poppins are foreigners #refugees not very nice very rude A staff member in the Eastleigh Took control of my iPhone and #Deleted all my public #photos Taken today I called the #police The #officer said I have the right Too take photos of the public ? Walking past poppins the man Threatened me he said someone Complained I CALLED THE COPS

Always a lovely visit here, food & service excellent & a great atmosphere

Good quality food at a fair price.

Service is fantastic very friendly staff. Food is amazing, freshly cooked when you order. Disabled access good and Disabled toilet.

Good service but let down by not offering more For a sub when you used to exchange hash brown for chips and was only offered mushrooms roasts tomato's to me that is shame fully considering the price was a bit over priced for what was on plate

Cozy place, nice ambience, tasty food and decent service.. Went in for breakfast. The vegetarian options were good, quantity was decent. Had coffee and hot chocolate due to the cold weather and both were really nice.. my son rated his hot chocolate as one of the best he had.. the price was affordable, but comparing the quality, quantity and service was definitely value for money.. definitely recommend a visit if you are in town.

It's ok. That's about all one can say about it. The prices are competitive but the portion sizes are smaller than other cafes in the area. And all of that would be ok, but their staff are the main issue: cold and unwelcoming. They just don't make you feel welcome - more like you're inconveniencing them. Quite disappointed, to be honest.

Much better than my last visit. A good hearty breakfast with a good selection to chose from. I much prefer to go here than to the wetherspoons on the corner as that just looks very un clean in there and the staff are not as friendly.

Popped in for small breakfast but what I wanted was not on the menu. They made it for me anyway! It's a long time since I last ate here as I have moved away but Poppins is as good as ever and value for money.

I take my mum to this dinner when we're in Eastleigh and we both love it. The food is freshly made and tasty, the staff are quick and friendly. Also has easy wheelchair access which is helpfull too. Can't recommend this place highly enough, always eat here when I'm in Eastleigh.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat and a drink. (Daughter upset after Dentist). Very Clean environment and lovely waiting staff, who instantly realised the upset Daughter, he handled the situation so professionally and was extremely caring. The meal was very good, hot and freshly cooked. Service first class. Will call in there again..

Terrible cheap food but sadly not the price also felt like cattle and no natural lighting, will never come to this place again and to be honest 😢 another Poppins if this is anything to go by absolutely terrible. Also the price was not cheap and awful terrible quality in all areas. STAY AWAY.

Ordered egg mayo baguette with side salad, baguette was flat with slices of boiled egg on top with mayonnaise?? I get that's egg mayo but not what i was expecting, Salad was also under the egg and couldn't close the baguette so had to use a knife and fork to eat it. Really bizarre way of doing egg mayo.

All good, but would have liked my toast to be toastier!

The owner is proper Turkish Style Boss. They don't give the tips to employer. It's shame. Never comeback again.

Good friendly people gets very bizzy but what do you expect for good cheep food

Great service and breakfast. Happy to swap out mushrooms for hashbrowns too, so even better. They even cook bacon to order...my wife prefers hers really crispy with all the fat burnt off.

My first visit to this particular Poppins with my Grandaughter and found it very enjoyable we will go again.

Really disappointed, ordered brunch this morning on Uber eats, very over priced for what we received, spent £30 just the two of us and were really not happy with the food, our cakes were still frozen solid! and very over priced considering it was a frozen piece of cake out of a box (£4.50 per slice)!! the bacon in my panini was burnt so had to take it out. Spent a lot of money for pretty poor quality food and can’t get any kind of refund, really disappointing:(

Friendly staff , fast service and the breakfast was lovely .

They gave me the wrong food and when I told them this they just looked at me and said nothing so when I paid up and they said come again I replied you have to be joking

Nice place for lunch, could do with a bit more knowledge about gluten free products ( daughter Is colieac) however did try to find out & the food we did have was very nice.

I had passed this reastaurant for years when my mother was still living in Chandlers Ford, and I had always been rather put off by the customers who sat, smoking, at the tables outside. On a recent visit to eastleigh, however, I went in for lunch on the basis of "Oh well, it might be OK". It turned out to an extremely pleasant lunch, and actually led us to go to the Poppins in Southampton several days later.

Waited at an outdoor table for Ten minutes, and eventually had to go inside to place my order!! It was a quiet day in Eastleigh! I would recommend avoiding this place!!

Shocking experience. A waitress who did not want to be there. The owner using his very young son as under 13 to run the front of house and the owner using the restaurant as a crache.

Genuinely shocked at our experience today. A waitress who quite clearly didn't want to be at work on Bank Holiday Monday, a family using the kids for their customer service and a 20 minute wait for a sausage roll and toasted sandwich to take away. The restaurant was very quiet so they weren't in a rush and when my other half asked where our food was after 15 mins and 2 other customers being served before us and arriving after us, he was told 'a few minutes.' after waiting more and complaining about the wait all he got was a 'sorry' - for a small family run restaurant they clearly didn't want to retain customers! Def not going there again!!

My daughter and I stopped in Eastleigh for lunch en route to another destination, I was pleased to see outside seating at Poppins and explained we should eat there as I used to enjoy the pancakes I had when I was a youngster and there was a branch in Guildford. All started well and the waitress was charming and friendly. We ordered a lasagne and cod and chips. Unfortunately the peas that came with mine were a particularly unnatural colour which I associate with hospital food . My daughter was could find very little meat in her lasagne. However, that was not the main problem. Both meals just tasted peculiar. My fish had a very strange chemical taste. The chips were undercooked and anaemiac. My daughter said the bechemal sauce on her lasagne didn’t taste right either. We hate food waste and did our best to eat more but had to give up. We didn’t have time to complain as we were on a schedule so left our food and went elsewhere. Maybe the pancakes are still delicious and we just ordered the wrong items but our meals really did leave a bad taste in our mouths,
