Tried making a small order. Wasent made clear on the phone about minimum card payments. telephone mannor was poor very limited custuner interaction. Rude on arrival. Would rather turn bussniess away than take card payment under 8.50. Would much rather spend 8.50 in fuel to go somewhere where they respect fheir custumers.

Small local Indian take away, really good level of options on the menu and very enjoyable food.

We have had regular takeouts, but this time, it wasn’t good. My dopiaza was bland, the tarka dall had no lentils in it and bland, the naan was very doughy and thick around the edge. The lamb tikka chewy,Very disappointed .

Occasionally I enjoyed Indian, but this experience was terrible. Nothing like an Indian at all. The poppadoms are like eating a piece of carpet And the chicken taker masala, I wouldn’t feed it to my dog

Pre cooked then frozen Microwaved food. Took about 20 minutes to even get the attention from anyone despite coughing, my phone ringing and actually calling out. Was simply ignored or "not seen" all the food was soggy which is likely due to being frozen. Completely flavourless so I woukdnt even bother wasting your money. Well, unless you fancy standing around for ages before getting served, and then have an evening of disappointment.

Many times in the last 5 years I have enjoyed food from Lowford takeaway but tonight tandori prawns special was a big dissapointment. My day was really good and was looking forward to that food as a treat and such a shame once back home I could smell and taste it was not fresh :(

Didn’t taste anything like a danshak and the chicken was really chewy

Despite the poor reviews we chose to order, by telephone, ready in super quick time, the rice was fresh, chicken was perfectly cooked and the flavour was great, love the optional fresh onion. Poppadoms crisp and tasty, we will deffinatley be going back.

Had Currys from here a few times that why I went back as never had a bad vegetable curry from them But today it was to say the least absolute awful 😞 Veg curry had onion and potato in it nothing else and very watery. Chicken korma had chicken that was really hard and no taste Shame as it was my favourite place for Indian Maybe they have changed chef 😭😔😞

Really disappointed. Fancied a curry, haven't had one in ages. This was chewy chicken, watery sauce and Luke warm at best had to ping in the microwave. Left most of it, One of the worse meals we have had in ages. Will not return. Shame cinnamon Bay has gone.

Decided to try this evening and really wished we hadn't! Tasteless and dry chicken did not taste like chicken at all had a awful after taste onion Barry were chewy and dry threw food in bin Overall will not be returning ! Nearly 50 pound wasted !

I have used this place for years and always enjoy their curries. Good size portions and they never get the order wrong. Meal is prepared quickly as well and great value for money, would highly recommend this takeaway.

Food is horrible and the rice was so watery trash food and my madras was abnormal it had a sweet taste to it never ordering from here again 👎

Abit hit and miss .madras I had was watered-down and rice probably cooked the day before stuck together in lumps . Definitely won't be spending money there again I'm done .

Some of the best food around the area! Love this place and highly recommend. Major props to the chef, think his name is Akram? Get yourself down there for some great food.

Don't bother with this takeaway ordered 1chicken tikka masala and 1 chicken tikka pathia mushroom baji bombay potato garlic naan and 4 poppadoms had better curries from Iceland mushrooms were bland and watery bombay potato just a boiled potato no flavour the garlic naan was just plain and to make matters worse he over charged me to all customers save your money go elsewhere

This deserves no stars!!! Bland greasy flavorless food. Honestly tasted like a frozen meal heated up in the microwave. It was binned. Waste of money. When I called to give some complain they told me that they haven’t had any other complaints so it must be me. Avoid at all cost.

27th April. This place may have a 5star food hygiene rating, but the food is absolutely foul. If I could give zero star I would. After spending £40.90 on a takeaway today, got it home, poppadoms were stale, maybe 2 days old, found a nice long hair in the prawn biryani, added unwanted extra. Veg curry completely tasteless, saag bhaji inedible due to being saturated in oil. Rice was soggy and overcooked. Wasted a lot of money for a meal that went in the bin. This place should really be avoided at all costs. Our meal was chicken tika masala, king prawn pathia, king prawn biryani, rice, saag, bombay potatoes and poppadoms. If you read these reviews, please heed this one, quite possibly the worst Indian meal we have ever had in over 35 years. This one really takes the title, worst in class. Please AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

If I could rate this ten stars I would. Never had a curry this nice before. With such lovely service run by a lovely family. Ordered from here lots of times and nothing I have had has been less than excellent. I would recommend especially the lamb dansak and onion bhajis

The worst Indian takeaway I've ever had. The Chicken Tikka Masala was so bland and greasy. The garlic and cheese naan was stone cold. All of the food had to be microwaved when we got home (6 mins travelling time, and the order was collected on time). We won't be going again and will look elsewhere next time. I wouldn't leave this review lightly as small takeaways can often be the best, however this was not pleasant and most went in the bin!

Had a selection of dishes for two with some starters and it was all very tasty. Will be back for more soon.

Was a bit sceptical as I read one bad review but so glad I gave it a try. Ordered various starters and 2 mains and it was delicious and punching with Indian flavours, was also happy with the 3 popperdoms and 2 yoghurt sauces with salad bags on a £27.50 order. I’m extremely fussy with Indian food as can be too greasy, watery or dry. Definitely give it a try as moving to the area I’ve not found my local Indian and won’t be needing to look elsewhere 😘

Not sure if they've changed chef here but the food was really disappointing. The chicken was tough as old boots, the onion bhajis were rock hard and the naan bread was tasteless. Sadly It ended up in the bin.

Move to the area 2 years ago. Tried most Indian takeaways around and this is definitely the best. Sali Chicken and Motor Paneer are favs.

Honestly the best curry we've ever tasted. This place was recommended by a friend and is now our absolute favourite place to order from. Very impressed!

Been meaning to try this Indian for years, absolutely fantastic! Nice and fresh and hot! The food is full of flavour and taste exactly how you expect each dish too! It’s take out only but it’s well worth the visit. I will be making this my Indian of choice from now on.

Used this takeaway numerous times and it’s been brilliant. Fresh tasting, good portions and excellently cooked meats however the most recent visit midweek was somewhat lacking in quality and a little more generic. Perhaps a different chef was on?

Very fast preparation ordered at the counter, and good large portions with lots of meat. Delicious buttered chicken. Would recommend.

An authentic takeaway that won't break the bank, unlike a lot of restaurant takeaways in the area. When it describes the meal as hot, it's hot, the way it should be. Highly recommend.

I haven't been here for a while thanks to my current diet, but the food and service was always great, and most people will leave with a couple of free popadoms. Loses one star for the very tired decor which often feels sticky!

Este fue un habitual hasta hace un año, no estoy seguro de si la administración o chef ha cambiado pero tuvimos una comida de allí y el Curry sabía más que utilizan como jabonosa curry.

Bueno, si es o no un bonito lugar lujoso, pero es una buena pizzería local. Yo vivo en la zona y como regalo un poco personal I pop allí para conseguir comida, y nunca me ha decepcionado ya que la comida siempre ha sido muy bueno.

Podría ser sólo un llevar pero el exterior y el interior de este lugar te dice que todo lo que hay que saber, cutre y querido, el personal siempre parecen desinteresado y molesto que han perturbado. La comida es generalmente comestible si un poco grasiento pero hay mucho mejor Disfrútelo lugares alrededor, así que evitaría este sitio a no ser que realmente desesperados.

Estamos encantados de haber ignorado los comentarios negativos, porque teníamos una deliciosa comida para dos por 15 libras, e incluía ensalada y poppadums gratis. El personal era muy amable. No dudaría en volver a pedir desde aquí de nuevo, y esperamos la próxima vez!

Mi esposa y yo hemos mudado recientemente en la zona, y encontramos este pequeño local para llevar a la vuelta de la esquina. No se puede hacer en sí ningún favores con un viejo anticuado y de certificados de higiene de fecha. El propietario era amable y educado y el servicio rápido teniendo en cuenta que teníamos dos curris diferentes.

Quería mantener mi local secreto! Sin embargo, cuando necesitaba para buscar su número de teléfono en-línea que estaba horrorizado para leer el último examen. Muy injusto y en mi opinión, la comida es excelente y una buena relación calidad-precio. La comida es normalmente listo para colección cuando dicen que, a diferencia de algunos locales, que sólo empiezan a cocinar cuando llegas al llevar. Esta noche tengo pedidos comida para un grupo de noches de mañana, nada era una molestia. Me alegro mucho de que viven en el barrio, y favorecerá este llevar comparado con otros en la vecindad. Nunca hemos tenido problemas en los últimos 2 años desde que me parecieron, sigan el buen trabajo, muchachos X

I have been coming here regularly for the past two years. The food is very authentic and the price is exceptional for the standard. Not given 5 out of 5 as on the last visit I noticed they were using frozen vegetables in the veg curry (the diced type)! Apart from this you won't be disappointed.

It's a tiny building that does a roaring trade, especially in summer when visiting yachtsmen trek there from the marinas (it's a bit of a walk from the river!). This is an excellent Indian takeaway, as recommended by all my Asian friends. The food is always fresh with excellent flavours and good value, with friendly service.
